"You've been there than that." He sighed over the phone. "Just...just please don't be sad." 

"I just wanna talk to you. Is it bad?" 

"Hindi naman." He chuckled. "I won't end the call until you're done talking."

"Kahit pa...marami kang ginagawa ngayon? You know President's duty." Masyado kasing masipag. Dapat nga nagpapahinga siya at Linggo ngayon. He is the SSG President and I'm aware of that but he needs to rest. He's a human.

"Oo naman. I can do it besides sa Marshal's office lang naman ako," he assured as he flips the page of the paper. Perhaps, he is writing or reading something. I wasn't sure, though.

"Punta ka nalang dito sa—" 

"Dorm ni Neopard." 

Kahit naman gustuhin kong pumunta sa Marshals' office ay alam kong hindi rin ako papayagan ni Kua Neo. Marahil ay siguradong naroon si Scott. 

"Right," I said, shocked. "Someone's being updated." 

"Syempre." He smirked over the phone. "Ayoko maging outdated pagdating sa'yo." 

"Masyadong mais, Master." 

"Ang hirap naman bumanat sa isang Sawyer. She's always saying 'masyadong mais, Master." He chuckled. Natawa rin ako sa sinabi niya nang bigla ay may tumawag sa akin.

"Baby sis." pagtawag sa akin ni Kua habang papalapit siya sa kwarto ko na nilaan niya para sa akin. 

"If may free time ka...pupuntahan mo naman ako, 'di ba?" I almost pleaded. 

"Oo naman, Red. Ikaw pa ba?" ha assured. 

Kua Neo called me again! For the second time! I almost rolled my eyes. Abala ako rito, my gawd. 

"Coming Kua!" I shouted before taking back my attention to the phone. 

"Just call me, okay? When you need someone to talk to." aniya sa malumanay na tono. I nodded over the phone as I bit my lip to suppress my smile.

 "Sure, master." and then I ended the call.

As I stood up from the bed Kua knocked on the door. Nagpakawala muna ako ng isang malawak na ngiti. Humugot muna ako ng malalim na hininga. I acted as if nothing has happened. Na kunwari ay hindi si Xanthus ang nakausap ko. Na kunwari ay hindi ko narinig ang mga sinabi ni Xanthus na siyang dahilan ng pagngiti ko.

As I opened the door Kua raised a brow. 

"What's with that face?" 

"What's…with my face?" I asked back. Did he notice something? 

"Huwag mong pigilan." aniya at naglakad na papuntang kusina.

"Pigilan?" I asked confused, following him behind.

"Your smile, baby sis." direstso niyang ani at iminuwestra niyang maupo na ako. "You can't hide that." 

"I'm not smiling, Kua," I defended myself as I sat down. Pasimple pa akong sumimsim sa tubig na siyang na sa side ko.

"Sinong niloko mo?" he placed a bowl of rice on my plate. "He called you." he even assured. 

"President?" sabi ko kunwari na hindi sigurado. I creased a brow at kumuha sa linuto niyang ulam. He sat in front of me at kumuha na rin ng kanin. I waited for him to utter at least a word pero hindi na siya umimik at nagsimula ng kumain.
