"so this is your first lecture hall, south east wing, hall 3" mark said as he guided sungchan towards his new lecture room in the college he was now strating to attend due to taeyong's orders last night.

"you'll be in the freshman year and no one else from neo will be there, try your best to make a friend or two to seem less sus" mark said before patting sungchan's shoulder and leaving him alone as he struggled to hold onto the weight of the past lecture notes he recieved from the office. he sighed as he realised the dense amount of material he now had to catch up on.

while juggling a school bag, lecture notes, notepad, laptop and loosely crumpled page showing his timetable, he found it incredible hard to do the bare minimum and open the lecture hall door. just before he could use all his monster arm powers to push down the handle, another hand did so.

he looked up thankfully and laid eyes on the kind stranger.

"you new here?" the stranger asked and sungchan nodded

"ah...nice to meet you, zhong chenle" chenle said as he stuck out his hand but reluctantly pulled it back and scartched his nape as he saw sungchan struggle to hold his things. with a small and youthful chuckle emitting from chenle's lips, he used his hands to lift some objects from sungchan's hold.

"jung sungchan" sungchan replied with a grateful smile as the numbness in his arms were slowly beginning to leave

"let me know if you need the past presentation slides" chenle said as he guided the way for them both into the lecture hall. placing the books down onto one of the tables in the rows nearer to the back, chenle took a seat first, followed by a nervous sungchan.

"loosen up a bit, this is college" chenle said bumping his fist into sungchan's arm and shooting an iconic smile his way. just like that, the two continued to converse and held conversation for quite a while when they realised the timetables were equally as similar.

"yo 50% chenji" aera said as she wrapped her arm onto the shoulder of the boy she treated like her brother

"Hey noona" chenle smiled

"I told you not to call me that, we're only a few months apart~ don't make me feel old!" She whined as she pinched his cheek *rice cake skin* which only ended up in sending him into a fit of giggles.

"Oh hey" aera said as she saw the much taller guy look at the two greeting each other

"Hi, I'm jung sungchan" he said with a smile while bowing towards her

"Nice to meet you, I'm park aera" she said before turning her attention back to chenle before she could see sungchan's face change.

"He's the new kid" chenle said to Aera and she smiled even wider

"Oh wow, you should make him sign up to your archery team. He could make some new friends" aera suggested with a bright tone

"No...there's no way mark would let this dude through. He barely even let me and jaemin in" chenle said

"M-Mark? As in mark lee?" Sungchan chimed in, receiving a nod from chenle making his scoff slightly

"I think I'll make it to the team easily" sungchan said with a smirk

"Exactly, that's it! Confidence!" Aera said bumping her fist into his shoulder making him chuckle

"Anyway I gotta go and get ben from my locker. See you guys later" aera said waving goodbye to them before approaching her locker which yeji was standing beside

"You put him in a locker?!" She exclaimed once she saw Aera take out a robot infant from her locker.

"Obviously! I wasn't going to carry it during my finance lecture was I?" Aera asked with a chuckle

"So since you're doing such a great job parenting already, why don't you take him tonight" haechan said popping up behind Aera making her surprised

"Jesus you scared me!" Aera said flustered making him laugh.

"But for real please take him tonight, I have a marketing test to study for" Haechan said making her sigh and roll her eyes

"Fine but you take ben for the whole day tomorrow then" aera said narrowing her eyes at him

"Cool" he said shrugging and turning to walk away

"I don't trust you" aera said making him turn back and chuckle, his tongue now poking into the inside of his cheek

"Then what do you want me to do?" Haechan asked with his hands now crossed over his chest which seemed more buffer due to the heavy jacket he wore around a lose white crew shirt.

"Promise" aera said lifting up her hand and extending her pinky towards him making him chuckle.

"What are you 5?" He asked with a smile as he looked at her hand

"Would you rather repeat an oath or do a blood bond?" Aera asked cocking up an eyebrow making him roll his eyes

"Okay fair point" he said before he locked his pinky with hers as well, officially sealing the deal for the 50/50 parenting duties. And with that, eye contact followed, and intense one at least but it was cut short due to Ben's automated cries. Haechan chuckled as he saw Aera's face fall as she realised she had to tone down the cries. He teased her by waving goodbye dramatically and walking away.

"See you later alligator" aera said sarcastically before patting the baby's back

"In an hour....sunflower" haechan greeted back with a smirk before leaving her ray vision

"And you're telling me....there's nothing going on between you two?" Yeji asked narrowing her eyes at Aera

"Well....not exactly" aera said with a sigh making her gasp

"Tell me everything you skank! How could you hide this from me!" Yeji said slapping her arm making her groan

"Because I regret it so much. He ended up being an asshole afterwards anyway" aera said rolling her eyes

"Okay now I'm really interested" yeji said leading them both into the girl's bathroom to have a conversation.
