Some people aren't meant to be, M/N knew that the day he admitted to himself that he loved the younger world star, it seemed like they quickly became Romeo and Juliet. It was like a love story with an unhappy ending, but M/N didn't need that in his life. He wanted a happy ending of life with or without a lover. Some of his family members asked him when he will get himself a girlfriend or sometimes even a boyfriend to the people he has come out to. Jeongguk is young and needs to see what life really is about, not to be locked with one person - he deserved to see the world and have different girlfriends of boyfriends, he knew the South Korean culture and how some looked at the LGBTQ+ community. He never wanted to cause trouble in Jeongguk's family life or just his own personal life. 

"M/N? Are you okay" Jeongguk wrapped his arms around M/N's buff waist "What would you do if you were in love with someone you could never get?" M/N felt Jeongguk's body froze, did he figure it out? "What kind of question is that M/N?" "Just answer" Jeongguk signed and hidden his face into M/N's neck "Go for the person anyway-" "What if it would ruin the person's life?" "Are you in love with someone M/N?" A smile ran over M/N's face, he could either tell Jeongguk or lie up in his face just to hide his secret.
"Yes, but he and I wouldn't be able to be together with the job he has" Jeongguk hummed "Is it a dangerous job?" M/N laughed and held Jeongguk's around his waist - and cared it "Not really, but the life he has might make it dangerous if we aren't careful" Jeongguk hummed again "Who is it?" M/N knew that if he told Jeongguk now he might never see him again and he didn't want that. He wanted Jeongguk in his life, but he wanted Jeongguk to know before he go back to his normal life again.

"Do you really want to know?" M/N turned around to cupped Jeongguk's face with his hands, Jeongguk just nodded and smiled. Jeongguk would die inside if he heard someone else's name instead of his, it would break him. "It's a boy who is broken inside, who feels alone. A boy who travelled all the way to Norway, just for him not to be alone" If the answer wasn't clear to Jeongguk, then M/N had lost the chance "Me?" Jeongguk's heart skipped a beat at the thought that the older loved or liked him and no one else. M/N signed and nodded, if Jeongguk let go now it would be over - but it was now or never "Do you like me too?" The light in Jeongguk's eyes was like stars, it was just what he wanted. M/N didn't get an answer or he did just not with words, instead, he got a kiss - all of the sparks were there. It was all they both needed to bring them together, at this very moment they were meant to be but as soon as they let go - they wouldn't be able to be together, it wouldn't last long before the younger had to go back and M/N's world would slowly fall apart. 

Jeongguk moved away from the kiss and looked into the older's eyes with such love, Jeongguk wasn't stupid he knew what this meant and at some point, he wanted to stay with M/N forever and not go back, but he couldn't be selfish and leave his hyungs behind. "I know what this means M/N, but can we at least try and see what would happen in the future?" M/N signed and debated with himself if it would be stupid or not, but for once he wanted to be selfish and live while he could "Sure, but we've to talk all of this out first - since you're going back soon" Jeongguk nodded and his smile went away at the thought of leaving this wonderful home. 
They both went up to their bedroom and talked about what to do with this, and in conclusion, they made agreements on what would happen if the media found out. 
- Once Jeongguk goes back they would go and see each other in secret, they didn't want the media to find out if they weren't ready.
- If someone asks M/N if he's in a relationship he can say yes since it wouldn't damage his career, but Jeonggk must say no since there are some crazy fans.  
- If they go out in public they must try and look like friends.
- Jeongguk can tell his hyungs if he wants to, but no one else.
- They can take pictures together but not upload them to social media unless they both agree that it's safe. 

It may seem like a tight relationship, but they wanted to make this work - so until they decided to tell the media they must stay quiet. And even if it hurt to agree on not being lovers when they meet up in public it's clear that it's for the best.
