CATHERINE's POV

I was in the middle of my shallow sleep when I heard someone knocking on the window. I first thought it was just a bird or wind, but a little part of me thought that it's him, I'm silently hoping that it's actually him.

Okay, Lord, if this is Migs, give me a sign.

Mula sa pagkakahiga ko ay naupo ako at sumandal sa headboard ng kama ko habang nakatingin ako sa bintana ko kung saan nanggaling ang ingay kanina.

Hey, have you ever tried really reaching out for the other side

I may be climbing on rainbows but baby here goes

What the heck is that?

I immediately stood up and opened my window. To my surprise, I saw Migs outside my veranda and he's holding a guitar.

"Migs?" gulat ko'ng tawag sa kanya.

But instead of responding to me, he continues singing while staring at me.

Dreams, they're for those who sleep

Life is for us to keep

And if you're wondering what this song is leading to

I want to make it with you

Now I know why he's singing to me this song — ito 'yung kanta na pinakanta ko sa kanya 'nung nasa Batangas pa kami at kasalukuyang nakatambay sa tabi'ng dagat. Remembering those days made me feel a little emotional. Gano'n na pala ka-bilis ang panahon, parang nangyari lang 'yun kahapon, ni-hindi ko namalayan na ilang buwan na rin ang nakalipas.

Migs continue singing while I was just staring at him.

There's no doubt that our love story has come a long way already, from the moment that we met in that coffee shop up to our first big fight. I mean, wow! Time passes by without us noticing it and we'll only notice it when we least expect to have some realization.

I don't think I could live without him anymore. I can't even imagine me without him, na para sa'kin ano pa'ng magiging silbi ko kung wala naman siya. That's how much I love him now.

"Catherine..."

I only noticed that he already finished the song when he called my name and slowly approached me to held my hand.

"...I'm sorry."

I smiled at him and sniffled as my tears starts to fall from my eyes.

His brows furrowed, "Bakit ka umiiyak?" he asked in a very concerned voice.
