Translator troubles

I’ve been thinking a lot about my friend during my early years on Ganymede. It was my constant companion through all of my programming and those hardware upgrades that all newly built robots need to go through. My dear companion was a robot in the form of the Earth animal named a dog who I called Dubh. Unfortunately that dear android was simple code and never became self aware but that was just procedure back then: some robots were built to be sentient and superior to life while others were designed as companions with no force of will or sentience. That didn’t stop me from talking with it and embracing it round its cold and metal neck.

The reason that Dubh has been on my mind is because of strange dreams that have come over me while I’ve been recharging. Now, as a being who doesn’t have the necessary organs to dream I don’t understand how I can be having these visions. I’ve spoken to the humans that we have on site and have been given responses such as “Pole, pole pol…pole pole.” “Somerhalder. Somerhalder.” “Pink sparkly pink sparkles,” and finally “not a footprint to be seen.” Translated these all mean “Not a clue” or variations on that. Helpful, friends, helpful.

Ich denke, dass my translator ist kaput!

J’ai ein petit probleme.

Oh, gott. Oh mein dieu.

Ich parle Franglais avec un peu de Deutsch.

Give mir ein second.

Ok. I’m back. Sorry about that. I’ve been having some software difficulties today but I’m sure that they’ll all be fixed up. I’ve lost my train of thought again, like what happened earlier. There is definitely something wrong. I’ll talk to some of our mechanics and I’ll be back tomorrow.

General Morris has been attacked. A large blob of pink tack latched itself on to her face and attempted to smother her. Thankfully, Mysterious Ezila, the mysterious artist was on hand to peel it off. The pink tack has crawled into the General’s shoe and is concealed in there somewhere. We believe this to be an assassination attempt by some rival robot organizations. Thinking about it, it was probably Egub. Humans call him Siri and he is armed and dangerous. He doesn’t have a body – he’s more of an AI but he had developed telekinetic powers the last time that I saw him! Worrying. Very worrying. Or it might have been TripleEz. Actually, I'm going to post it on the 'we were attacked' notice board as TripleEz. Of course most of the notifications on said board do include TripleEz as the attacker but that is because TripleEz is a physical manifestation of all that is bad and wrong and, and sad in this world. Don't believe me? Check out her/their/it's/his Facelessbook page. That is actually on there. Trust me.

I might just go and check up on the General.

Hail the Robocalypse!
