How many does it take to notice
How many blind eyes does it take to see
Around the world
Across the globe the same issue arise to be
But here’s a thought
Who wants to play hero
Has it dawned on anyone thus far
When a heart is not hallow
But true to its purity
Does that person realize that they are who people follow
Lead us
Away from this
Disasters are the more
But lead none
Unless they follow to face the morn
Death, the ending of a life
Giving up so to speak
Send it out
Let them here
Our anxiety
Do they know how the water rises
As it slowly rises above our knees
And by the time we realize it
We’re six feet under this imaginary sea
So heavy does it feel
That no love can get passed through
We sink into the depths
The blackness of the ocean
Where no light will see us
This is how we struggle
And struggle shall we
As leaders of tomorrow
We change by diving into these depths
And rescuing for the love of ‘being’
