The purpose not always intended
Not always clear
Exception to general regulations
However, they appear
To mean ‘something’
‘anything’
Not always the case
Determined by your own strong will
Will determine your hate
The love inside
Mind me, I may not know you
Seems to be clear
There’s more to these statements
Than one would appear
The help that you offer
Torn away by fear
It’s understandable
However, not to me,
Since I know this reaction all to well
On my plate I see explanation
Amusement and a heart
That beats for a person
That hasn’t ‘torn’ them apart
Or they have
I cannot determine
How another person feels
Even when I’m so close to someone
They seem so far but still
One cannot hope in the hopeless
One can only try
People say it doesn’t hurt to attempt
But don’t waste your time.
