Alive in the depths of a dormant other
Awake, tired, yet a full nights rest
A concept unlike any other
Could they detest
Not a sleepless nigh
Yet awake the mind another
A true definition of schizophrenia and insomnia combined?
Or is it the past attempting to remember
To be memories never forgotten
Only to be lived on for another
