Hello all!

I'd like to announce that I have a hiatus in the book. I was looking over my notes and came to find that I hadn't finished what I started in 2014 when I left the website. I began creating new works but I will adjust and organize as I see fit.

I do know that I will be needing a lot of help from other writers in order to edit through all of my work. The only issue I have there is that I tend to create more work as I read through other's poetry. This next part in 'Achieving For The Greater Good' will be poems that are in my drafts or that I have written currently in 2019. So, Part I of this book is written in 2014. Whereas, Part II will contain drafts and current work.

If you're interested in reading my current writing my most recently finished poetry book is in the series 'Cultural Distortion'. It is called, "A Barrier Meant To Be Broken." And is written between September of 2018 to March of 2019. It contains 100 poems and ten author's notes. In the author's notes I write journal entries, or things that I want to say to my readers.

I am OCD and because of that I have to organize my work in a certain fashion. Which is why my works are all in increments. Poetry books that contain 100 poems or parts depending on how far back you go, are themed around my life decisions at the time that I was writing the poetry book. Whereas, poetry books of 200 are meant to withhold my miscellaneous poems or journal entries that don't always center around my current life events.

Eventually, I plan to go through all of these poems and make smaller poetry books contain about twenty five parts each. This way, people can see certain subjects and how they have evolved over time. In example: My Foundation. I joined this website while we were still dating. She is my first girlfriend. There are many poems about her between the first poetry book that I've ever started verse my current works which still contain poems about her. I do know that my attitude about her has changed over the years and it would be an eye opener not only for me but to my readers as well.

These poetry books that I've written from 2010 to today (2019) are pure examples of psychology. I self asses who I was and who I am. I can compare them and my readers can also see the change in my writing, my attitude, and my emotions. Originally, I wrote to dispel the hold of emotions on me. I tried my best to write instead of express negative emotions and I still do this today.

It's a good way to learn about the self. I also started writing because my memory was poor back in 2006 (when I first started writing). I wanted to get better at remember things and today, I am able to remember and memorize better because of writing.

I hope that y'all find this book still interesting considering that there is a time gap between Part I and Part II. I know that people somehow still find my original works and place them in their reading list. It hurts to know that my work still reaches out from the depths of my younger self but it's reassuring. It means that no matter how much time has passed, my writing still reaches out to people.

A bad habit that I have is to create and not reread. That's what I do R4R for because they help me reread over my own work and there are a fresh set of eyes that are exposed to what I've written. Granted, I have a fault because I get inspired easily. I like to write a poem in response to the poem that I read. Not saying, "This is how I would write your poem." But rather, it's a way for me to say, "This is what your poem made me think of."

I have a record of poems that I've finished. I also tend to do R4Rs with people who are willing to actually give their opinion and not simply sate, "Good job." The people that I find during R4Rs are people that I usually become friends with.

Most likely, if you're reading Part II of 'Achieving For The Greater Good' you are new to this website or a returning veteran like myself. So, you're probably new to my work. If you're not, then I'm glad you're here. If you are, then, it's nice to meet you.

When it comes to journal entries and Author's Notes which I used to call 'Breakers' I tend to write at least one thousand words but I usually try to limit myself to that number as well. This is because I try to prevent myself from rambling and hope that I can get to the point within one thousand words or slightly over.

Generally, I am a friendly person and I like to read other people's work. However, I do limit myself to a certain amount of people that I read over because I tend to get engrossed in their work and I tend to write responses. If you're interested in doing a R4R you are welcome to personally message me.

My general rule is, that I will read 25 poems or less as long as you do the same for me. I like doing 25 poems at the max because then I can alternate between someone I'm currently reading over with people who I'm starting a R4R with. If anything, I'm willing to read 25 poems as long as you read 25 poems of mine. Then, we continue another set of 25 if we both reach the requirement the first time.

This method also wanes away anyone who wants to view instead of read and give small comments verse actual thoughtful comments. I don't want to make anyone comment on my work unless they feel that they want to. But I do want to be aware that if we are doing a R4R that you have read and understood what my poem is about and I will do the same for you.

This wraps up my Part II introduction. Know that right now I am studying abroad. Whereas when I stopped writing in Part I, I graduated High school.

I hope you enjoy this poetry book,

Let me know what you think!
