Thy sight of the world with every peripheral
Ultraviolent shall it be.
Other days may the rain cease its fire
But the cloudy days do not speak
For the sun’s rays
So strong
Deceiving as it may be
In sight of all of the world’s actions
Asleep does the moon see thee
The secrets withheld in the night
May the sun bring up with its light
Not to shun but reveal
No emotional connection
The sun watches both sides of the wheel
Bright it may be
Sometimes too strong
Other times misguiding
From every angle
Including the caps of the earth
Shall the sun watch from its distance
Overall
What does the sun believe?
An inanimate object can see
All the ways of the world
But in all truth
Does anyone know what the sun believes?
Punishment given
Or sometimes not deserved
Confusion runs through people’s minds
There is no way
To hide from the sun
Even encapsulate by the night.

I am at the library at the moment and by sheer chance I found a specific poetry book that caught me by surprise. In my literature book at school we have “The Canterbury Tales.” So happens, I found another book with the poem in it. The book in my possession at the moment is “Chaucer’s Poetry – An Anthology for the Modern Reader by Ronald.”
Of course I didn’t look at the title. I’ve randomly choose a poetry book to get the spur of ideas not try to actually read some of it. Is that bad? Am I a bad person? I like to see what I can come up with based off of the books that I grab. For the most part of Wattpad I can respond to someone’s poetry with a poem of my own.
The other book I grabbed was The Collecd poems of G.K Chesterton. Let’s see where these get me. I’ll only write until lunch is over. Until I say I’m not writing based off of them books than you’ll know when I have finished looking at the books.
“Ballad Of The Sun” By G.K Chesterton
