Saglit na napatanga si Kay sa tinuran ni Leighton.
Malakas na naman ang loob nito dahil nabigo siyang iterrorize ito kagabi. What happened was the other way around. Siya ang nagkaroon ng takot kay Leighton, on what will he become if things persist. Kay has created another monster that will either make or break him again.
But there's something more to Leighton which Kay couldn’t fathom. Inalala niya ang nangyari kagabi...
Leighton suddenly stopped touching him and held back the kiss.
"Sorry..." Leighton said. It was like he reverted to his old self for the last minute. "I shouldn't do this."
Mayroong frustration sa parte ni Kay pero gumaan naman ang dibdib niya. Atleast he will not hate Leighton.
Tama naman si Leighton sa mga sinabi nito, hindi siya loyal kay Yael dahil naka-mindset na siya na maghihiwalay rin sila ng landas balang araw. The only question is when?
Umayos ng pagkakaupo si Kay. Leighton faced him and they held each other's gaze. Kay will never know the true intentions of Leighton, at sa palagay niya ay lalo lang siya nitong hindi lulubayan kapag wala siyang ginawa.
He thought he could make use of the circumstance. He held Leighton's cheeks to steady him. "I think I'll agree to your proposition after all. Kill me if I'll break the habit..." and with that, he kissed him.
Para kay Kay, Leighton is pristine. Gusto niyang manatiling ganoon si Leighton. He regretted tarnishing him.
Nakapagpasya na siya... He won't kiss Leighton anymore nor do something dirty with him... and that applies to all the people he's had contact with in the past. Mahirap iyong gawin pero motivated siya dahil alam niyang mahirap din para kay Leighton ang mga pagpapasya nito.
Gustong matawa ni Kay sa ekspresyon ng mukha ni Leighton nang maghiwalay sila pero pinigil niya ang sarili. Mukha kasi itong katatapos lang pumirma ng kontrata sa isang diablo.
Kay patted his shoulder. Don't worry, I won't harass you. I'll take care of you from now on, was what he wanted to say but he chose not to. Hindi iyon kailangang marinig ni Leighton mula sa kanya. He must act to make it happen.
Bumaling naman sa ibang direksyon si Leighton. "Y-You're hopeless. Malala na nga siguro ang sakit mo sa pag-iisip. You just do nothing but accept any situation blandly. I really want to see you emotionally damaged."
"Oh?" Kay sighed in disbelief. He suffered enough in the past. He already gave up investing his feelings so no one could possibly hurt his heart.
"Yes, I'm serious," ani Leighton.
"You're serious at being childish," Kay remarked. "Marunong kang maduwag pero hindi ka marunong sumuko. Hindi na ako magugulat kung isang araw, iyan ang ikapapahamak mo."
Inignora ni Leighton ang mga sinabi Kay at siya naman ang nagbitaw ng mga salitang hindi malaman ni Kay kung sarcastic o sincere. "I'll make you fall in love with me."
"That would be impossible," kontra kaagad ni Kay. "I don't—"
"Kay..." Leighton flashed his thousand bucks smirk. "I also find your lacking of feelings for love impossible. Shall we make a bet?"
