The moment their eyes met standing amidst the field of flowers in white and silver, shinning against the blue horizon of the sky like silver moonlight falling upon the dark night, they fell into a world of red, their souls lost in each other's eyes.

It was love at first sight.

A typical cliche for a formidable villain to fall in love with his soulmate like this, this was the design of a cruel fate that would crumble the beautiful phrase of love at first sight cliche for what awaited them was an unavoidable tragedy. Their love as deep as the sea and toxic like a lethal poison, twisted, unformed and deprived of emotional aspects, they were committed to each other in soul but never in action. One craving for dominance while the other to be with his soulmate, in the end, what kind of ending would fate unwind for these two who were madly in love with each other, one seeking revenge, throwing his everything away for the death of his half brother, while the other giving his everything up to be with the man whose soul was infatuated with revenge and only revenge. And with his love came the key to his soulmate's destruction. A perfect tragic couple made by heavens they were.

These were the lines from the book capturing the first encounter between Zarad and his lover, the expression of each word remained a vivid memory to the readers as many of them couldn't help but sympathize for the unfortunate and misunderstood antagonist.
Unlike the main couple where Satatra had to fall first and earn the love of the protagonist, Aaron, Zarad and his lover fell in love with each other at first sight. Such a beautiful romantic cliche was the begining of a bloodshot and twisted relationship. Both fell in love in different circumstances yet similar cliches. But in the end the villain had to die or else the thread of hatred would continue to burn like an eternal candle flame ready to flicker at the protagonists of the story at every given chance.

At this time, he should encounter his soul mate, meet him and fall in love with him while in seclusion. According to the story's timeline they should be having their legendary encounter as written in the book. The person who was deemed as a goddess, a nymph, a celestial being, even surpassing the protagonist in terms of beauty, some even believed he was more loyal to the pompous Aaron and couldn't help but compare the two in terms of character, appearance, love and hate. There were many cannon fodders, not worth mentioning characters and many nameless people who fell for this mysterious diva.

But...........

Hitomu was not certain anymore. His existence altetered the original development of the story, even earning the infatuation of the same man, the lover of this 'yet to meet Diva.' No matter what, the destined thread linking the two sould be strong enough to break off his infatuation right? After all, soulmates have a rigid foundation linked by the thread of destiny that cannot be over ruled right?
He was at a bigger loss when the MIA person had exceeded the original deadline of his seclusion as written in the book.
Many things had been altered so far. Although Hitomu felt a big unsettling when thinking about this matter he did not regret the decisions that led to this situation. The only thing he could do now was to just keep his days going. Things about the future could be dealt with when the time came. There was no point in pondering over things that had yet to come.
And in this way days passed by peacefully.

The end of the month arrived like a passing breeze.

During these days it was all quite and peaceful.
The imperial palace had its usual schedule continue, while the two love birds were going on with their usual days, with Satatra trying to woo the other until he gave in. Too bad his time had yet to come. Aaron was still his pompous self as he had yet to fall for his man.
As for Hitomu, he continued to train the little puppies seeking his company every day. With each passing day they were getting better in assaulting him and forcing him in training them. He had become their personal favourite. Because he did not hate their enthusiasm he would give in every single time but he did not forget to work their ass off as a retaliation which infact worked in their favour.
He couldn't help but feel this peace was simply a mirage that wouldn't last long, waiting to break anytime to uncover an overwhelming situation.

Infact his intuition was not wrong.

Near the shore, facing towards the majestic yet powerless Lana continent were an army of people in black clothing. Their faces were covered with black masks. Armed with strange weapons they stood behind a group of five people, seemingly their leaders. Unlike them they were dressed in light colours.

"The ships will arrive here by night time. That is when we will move. The pitch black darkness will be our greatest ally. And remember, not to throw too much onto the water. Little by little, we shall proceed. With patience. Until everyone and everything we need in on the other side of the distant kingdom, we shall await, spying and plotting."

"Yes, general!"

"Tsk. Don't be so ecstatic yet. We haven't even started with our preparations. The day when you get your first kill on my battlefield is when you let out a joyous shout louder than this. Till then, keep your poisons to yourselves, nurture them while studying your enemies. Doing things like this, gives you greater joy when you unleash your killing intent on the unprepared. Like rabbits they will crumble under your feet, and when you stomp over their dead bodies, you shall taste the blood of victory. And i, as the one leading you can guarantee that feeling will not disappoint you." He let out a twisted smirk oozing out with a terrifying killing intent. This face was as scary as hell. With an aura such as this, his presence had a great magnitude. His eyes were sparkling with excitement.
"A war awaits us. Let us wait till we claim this war as our first victory in the name of unification. Hehehe!"

"Yes, your highness."

"Hail to your highness!"

While the outbreak of a war was being schemed Hitomu was busy sneaking out every now and then. He would sneak out sometimes to go back to the sunny village and check how things were going over there. Fortunately, everything was back to its usual place. The children were back to being their usual self. The elders were busy looking after them. Grandma Miko, like always, looked after the whole village, managing everyone. When visiting one time Hitomu saw an imperial guard standing outside her door. He couldn't help but laugh at the scene. She was so savage. Refusing the summon of the imperial palace, or more likely, the king's request. He knew that incident would incur the wrath of this noble lady. Also, those brats were nowhere to be seen. Meaning they must have been recruited by the imperial knights. Although he was a bit worried Marthx and Lanse were there with him. So Lydith would be perfectly fine given that his two close friends were there with him.
Another thing he was worried about was the emperor reaper. But because he had left Razia there was no way of attaining any news on him unless he leave the kingdom which was a bit inconvenient for him at the moment.

Thankfully the next morning had a  bit different atmosphere rather than the usual peaceful days. With how the knights were preparing he knew.

Hmm. So he has finally returned............................
