Zarad stared at the piece of paper in his hands. His eyes were fixated dangerously on what was written on it. His current bad mood was showing in his fluctuating blue aura that was darkening with each passing second.

"Master has been staring at that thing since yesterday. He is really angry this time, isn't he?" Khiluya groaned unhappily. Their master's bad mood was really a sight to behold.

"It can't be helped. Master Hitomu left without seeing him, leaving behind just a note. Of course he will be angry." Parnn sighed sticking up for their prince.
"I worry about what kind of Angry Zarad Hitomu will face when he returns."

The black knight members sighed in unison.
"Master Hitomu, please be prepared to be punished mercilessly when you return."
Everyone was thinking the same.

"We are leaving. Everyone please gather around." An authorative voice commanded.
It was the king who was ready to depart for the battlefield. King Satatra addressed the soldiers gathered before him. As he spoke he swept his gaze at the enitre crowd, his eyes lingering around Zarad and the black knights then onto his uncle.

"Board the ships."

"Check the weapons."

"Make sure nothing is left behind."

"Hurry up everyone."

The commotion kept on building.

"Hmph!" Aroar huffed. He was really angry at this nephew of his. Like awalys he had to listen to Satatra however the only difference this time was that he was listening to him as the king of this country.
"I will protect your kingdom and your throne. So you better return safe and sound."

Satatra stared at him. He sighed. "I will. In the meantime please protect my Queen too."
Last night Aaron urged and begged him to take him along but he refused. Because of that his lover was sulking and was also angry at him so he wasn't here to see him off.

Aroar's eyebrow twitched. This kid....
"Okay. I will keep an eye on him to make sure that he doesn't run after you." He readily agreed to his request.

That aside the black knight members were boarding the ship as well. Except that their leader had his mind somewhere else.

"Where is that boy?" Satatra asked. This was one of the few moments where he was interacting with his elder brother.
"The one called Hitomu."

Zarad was still angry. His eyes slanted towards Satatra, even the anger he was feeling right now was being directed at those around him. He didn't reply but the answer was obvious.
"You guys leave beforehand. I will wait for him to join you later." He spoke while containing his anger trying to regain his composure.

"Yes master." They replied in unison.

Satatra got the message. He heard about the incident regarding the sunny village.
"Well, Revard is also heading towards that place so it should be fine." He thought to himself.

"Also, go out all in this war. I will leave the decisions to you individually." Zarad added.

"Yes master." Came their collective replies.

Aroar frowned a bit. But he couldn't deny the fact that these legendary people will heavily contribute to this war. They were crucial for the empire's victory. And the king needed them.
With the king getting on board the army was ready to depart. People gathered around the shore, some watching from distant hills and some from the land, their hands waving at the army. The king was leaving for the battle field with his army. So they sang songs of praises for him wishing the best for the army led by him.

Meanwhile on the other side of the world the battle had already started.
The sound of weapons clashing, blood spattering everywhere. The kingdom that was known for its peaceful nature was facing the foreign invasion that threatened the royal blood of the empire.

"We must not let them break through the first city. The capital is still far away. Defend our kingdom!"

"Yes, defend the king!"

"Protect the nation!"

"Peace can also be dangerous! Fight! Fight! Fight until the enemy surrenders!"

"Tsk. Tsk." He clicked his tongue staring at the motivated army before him. "Look at that will ya? You call this the most peaceful nation of this world? They should be crowned the most persistent empire of this world. I thought they would resist like withering ants but....." His beautiful eyes hair flickered in the air, his devilish eyes curving with menace.
"Oh well..." He gathered his mana energy into his palm. The ball of magic energy became darker and heavier at the same time. "Persistent resistance is also very entertaining." He threw the large ball of energy forward.

BOOM! BOOM!

EXPLODE!

"SOLDIER, WHAT CAREFULLY. THIS IS HOW YOU FIGHT IN WARZONE!"
Shand shouted at his amry.

His body sprinted forward at a great speed. Obviously he was going for the opponent's leader.

"Protect the general!"

Shand let out a devilish smile. He grabbed the sword of a nearby soldier and thrusted it towards him.

WHACK!

Blood spattered from the place where the man's neck was slit open. The man twitched heavily before his body slump down onto the ground becoming a lifeless body.
Shand threw away the stained sword in his hand. He proceeded to attack another defenseless soldier. He curved his hand forward aiming at his enemy's heart.

KACHA!

With bare hands he impaled through the weak human body. A heart rested on the palm that pulled out of the bead body.
CRUSH! He squashed the bloodied heart in his hand.
"This is how you should kill." He licked his lips as if he was tasting something delicious.

The soldiers watched this spectacular scene wide eyed. The allies cheered loudly at the overwhelming demonstration of their leader while the enemies were shaking with terror.

"The god of war has descended on your land. Prepare yourselves to behold this one going berserk!"
As soon as he was done speaking he disappeared from the spot where he was standing.

The next moment he was already standing behind the leader of this army.

Thuweck! Whack!

Stab. Stab.

"....a......h....g....." The leader felt his eyes lose the light in them as his body fell down. He didn't even knew or saw what happened to him. And before realising he became an additional pile of dead body.

"See?" Shand spoke to the trembling soldiers before him. He held the decapitated head of the general in his hand. "This is how you should fight. Be merciless as you slaughter."

"Ahhhhhhh! Fight!Fight! Fight!" His allies cheered at the top of their voice.
