Aria's POV

'I've not played the violin since my mother died. But it's just like riding a bike.'

I look at Owen, a small smile on my lips. I raise the bow and slowly place it on the violin. Closing my eyes, I picture the music sheets for W.A.Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. I allow my hands and arms to take over, let the music flow through me. The notes are perfect as I think of the music sheet. I hit every note, every chord, with precision and perfection. Like my mother taught me. I think about my memories with her as I would play the violin and she would play the piano.

I open my eyes and watch my hands moving across the neck to the different strings. Delicately adding little twists to the piece, I remember a small boy I used to play the violin with. I close my eyes, to focus on the memory. His face is fuzzy, everything about him is. I focus on the emotions in the memory though. The happiness, the enjoyment, the love. My mother is there along with another woman with soft brown hair. Her face is perfect, sharp lines constructing her face. She is like a Mona Lisa, a masterpiece with molten grey eyes.

Coming close to the end, I open my eyes and watch my hands on their last few notes. Faultless, I drag out the last note and lower the bow. I lift my head and look at Owen. His eyes are no longer a steel grey but a mercury. The pools of grey seem to be swallowing me up, the intimidation and challenge gone.

"Aria, princess, you play?" I can't take my eyes from Owen and I can't form words so I nod. I think back to the small boy and his mother.

'Could Owen be the small boy?'

"I think I can like classical if sugar-cube is playing it." Luke says. Owen seems to come out of his daze and his steel grey eyes are back. He gives me his signature millimeter smile and holds out his hand. I place the violin in his hands gently, smiling delicately at him before looking at everyone else. They all seem to be in states of shock and awe. I giggle at them and go back to my seat.

"My mom taught me. I used to play with a boy as well but I don't remember his name." I glance at Owen in the corner of my eye. He seems to freeze at my words but continues to put the violin away. I focus back on everyone else and they all seem happy. I smile at each of them and Sean claps his hands together.

"Now, moving on from truth or dare. Should we watch some movies? Victor does have his gig tomorrow." At the mention of this, everyone groans. Victor smiles sheepishly at me. I giggle and nod. We grab all the pillow and blankets available and sort out spaces for everyone. I sit between Nathan and Kota, reminding me of the sleepover we had. I smile at both of them and look at the screen. Luke and Gabriel argue what we should all watch, making me sigh and lean into Kota. The screen shows a Disney movie but instead of getting excited, I find myself feeling tired and safe.

'That's a new combination... I like it though.'

I haven't felt safe when tired for years. But these boys, they make me feel safe. A small smile graces my lips and I close my eyes, my head resting on Kota.

Owen's POV

'Is Aria the little girl I remember playing with?'

When I was about 8, I remember playing the violin with a small girl with golden hair. Our mothers were close friends. All the information we have on Aria so far makes me think she is the lost bird we all have fuzzy memories with.

"Is she asleep?" I hear Luke whisper. I look over at Aria, her head leaning against Kota's shoulder. Her feet are in Nathan's lap, his hands delicately massaging the soles of them. She seems so peaceful yet vulnerable as well. I find myself relaxing when I see her body is relieved of all tension while she is surrounded by my brothers.

"Yeah, we should move her into the bedroom. We were all going to sleep there anyway." Kota says, his eyes looking at Aria's sleeping form. Everyone nods, almost excited to sleep seeing as Aria is here.

"Kota is right but we also need to have a meeting before anyone goes asleep. Mr. Kor- I mean, Silas, you take her into the room. Make sure no one can get in that room. All windows and doors are to be locked. Understood?" I command. Silas nods and stands, making his way over to the girl. He kneels, his whole face softens as he picks her up and stands straight again. She looks so small in his arms, making her seem more vulnerable. He turns and walks out of the room.

As soon as the door closes, we all sort the room out for our meeting. The TV gets turned off and we push the couch back to its original place. The table comes back to the center of the room and I stand in front of the TV. Everyone finds a place around the table. Victor and Sean huddle together around Victor's laptop. Something happened in that room and they are going to tell us, Sean had to promise us before we would stop trying to get into that room.

A few moments pass and Silas joins us, his face now hard and his fists clenched. His eyes are directly on Sean and Victor. They both look at him, the guilt taking over.

"Mind telling us why there are bandages on her wrists?"
