Good morning beautiful people - it's morning where I live so... - I woke up feeling energetic and excited, but I lost all of those magical feelings once I arrived at school.

My day is full today, I have an English presentation, a chemistry exam, I have to start working on my Portuguese presentation and I have a Biology quiz, so let's just say I will be a little fur ball of exhaustion - I chose fur because fluffy is cute - by the end of the day.

My eyelids feel heavy and I'm quite sure I will fall asleep while writing this on my phone but let's hope I can make it through and present to you an amazing chapter.

Enjoy!

Anne

Chapter 16: Her big boy

Cody's P.O.V.

My anger started to wear off when she fell asleep. It was hard to scrutinize her while she was wide awake since I didn't want her to notice I was examining her like a maniac.

The movie had finished a long time ago and the television was now pitch black. She managed not to drool over DiCaprio but she couldn't hold herself when she met my body.

I noticed she got too close to me and I felt her index finger lightly poking my chest and abdomen from time to time. Now, I'm not egocentric and I have a long way to go to have a defined six pack, but I'm closer than I was before and she couldn't help but check if it was real.

I couldn't help but think that she was feeling attracted to me, and even though it felt weird to receive all of that attention from my childhood best friend I started feeling like maybe it wasn't so bad to think of her as more than a friend. Her beauty is dumbfounding, it's so natural and like always she looked pure, simple like the ocean, yet she has that strength from the waves that crash against the rocks, it's a shame she doesn't know that.

Shifting a little on the bed I pulled her body away from me a bit trying to get a view of a certain part of her small frame. I was sat with my back against the headboard while her sleepy body was over mine, with her head on my chest and her legs over my lap. Our still intertwined hands rested on her lap and carefully I untangled our fingers pulling my hand away slowly.

When I noticed she didn't budge I took a deep breath holding her wrist in my warm palm, turning it upwards so I could have a good view of her pale skin and her faded dark azure veins.

Compared to my large, slightly darker skin, faded indigo veins filled wrists, hers looked like a doll, though a doll didn't have the scars she did.
