This poem is inspired by the song "Feed The Flames by Michael Malarkey.

Let's dance on the edge of the world,

let's go to the orange flames that shine bright,

as we come there is more light,

let's feed the flames,

lets dance on knives of fire,

and on blades of diamond,

we can be perfect if we want,

even if this world isn't,

let's feed the flames,

let's try going for the door,

let's make an escape,

the world shines,

we come too close,

so we feed the flames,

and they can flare,

and we can be ourselves,

again we can dance,

and we can play with fire,

we can play with fire,

feed the flames,

and never get burnt,

we become the spark,

we put dress into our disguise,

then button goes,

behind us,

fire flies,

there are embers in our hearts

burning and lighting,

softer than night,

brighter than light,

let's let them burn,

we stand,

join our hands,

chant as the fire glows,

let's make the night ours,

before the warmth goes,

we are in the darkest part of the world,

we're up to nothing good,

this is the only way,

to bring the fire,

into ourselves,

we become on edge,

When you are lost and failing

Your heart weeping tears of fear

And the light seems extinguished

Hold on
