In The Lonely Hour

Hey guys so this poem is inspired by the song "The Lonely Hour" by Sam Smith, before releasing his album he was in a dark place, a couple months ago he came out as "Gay" and sometimes that can be tough when you're in the public eye, his album is personal, it's like a story, it tells how he felt when he had his Lonely Hour and a lot of people find themselves in this Lonely Hour too as they suffer through issues they have, medical, maybe friendship problems, death of somelone close to you. So this poem is to all of you guys....who are going through this dark and lonely hour.

Sitting in a dark room,

not knowing what to do,

letting the walls hear my cries,

one gun shot,

my soul dies,

thinking,

hearing thoughts,

depression, life I'm resisting,

another cut, no I'm not resisting,

the blade, so shiny,

in my hand looks so tiny,

my screams, no one can hear,

when will come my freedom?,

the walls close in,

my breath sharpning,

my heart thumping,

my blood pumping,

in my mind names I get called,

I shiver,

is this room really so cold?,

I'm in a dark place,

where doesn't matter, the pace,

why won't anyone find me,

why do I keep fighting?,

what does it matter?,

no one was here then,

no one is here now,

no one will ever?,

this is me in my lonely hour
