Poetry: The Truth Of My Heart And My Mind

Someone You've Become

Everytime we try to make it work you disappear,

leaving me confused and hurt,

you give me your details then delete the proof,

I don't want you as my friend,

I only want to talk,

I just want your help,

then you turn against me,

just like the past,

you have me scarred,

you don't think do you?,

you think about yourself,

stop and make it right,

before the whole world knows your type,

emotional damage you made me,

an enemy you made to come out of me,

what have I done to make you like this?,

have you not listened?,

no you did not,

you ignored my words,

cutting me in half,

you made my whole world fall apart,

you made my heart tear into pieces,

what made you turn this bad?,

the good innocent girl you were,

now only a destroyer you have become,

pain never made you better,

it only made you worse,

it turned you into a stranger,

you think I don't know,

let me tell you something,

you're a mess,

you clean it up and grow up,

make friends that will suffice,

friends that for a long time you'll keep,

now they're here only for the next year,

then they'll be gone from your life,

as you move away,

forget and push aside,

you haven't been yourself,

you've changed,

you're different,

not the girl I knew,

like a sister you were to me,

now just a girl with a more mature act,

become someone knew,

someone I no longer know,

now only a passing memory,

I would not like to remember,

only forget,

tears intruse my eyes,

as I remember all my dark past,

you make me remember it all,

just go before I'll do something I really don't do

you helped me find my new sound
