Greed

Your eye catches a glipse of a diamond,

your treasure only looked after by you,

no one must take it into their hand,

you say your kingdom is peaceful,

peace is when no violence,

no threat is in between the lines,

you grow weak and wanting everything,

only something fit for a king,

you watch as your friends walk away,

your family left in disgrace,

how will you guide and rule people now,

you're alone and ill,

but the greed in you lies still,

the home you now lose,

your people now suffer while you're blind,

you're people think you lost your mind,

no one can now try to be kind,

all you know is greed,

the kingdom has lost its king,

they mightly need.
