Niall and Cassandra- prom night

A/N- the prom scenes here are based off what I saw at prom, for those who wonder I am a high school senior.

"Cassandra, are you almost ready?" My mom yelled from down stairs.

I was standing in front of my mirror almost ready just one problem, "Almost just need some help with my zipper."

I heard her come up the stairs, "Is that is what keeping you, Niall is waiting for you. Has not said a word, poor boy, your father is just staring him down."

"Well I not expecting him to show up this early. It's actually endearing." I smiled.

She got my zipper up, "It really is." She smiled and opened the door, "So let's not make him wait any longer."

I followed her down stairs and found Niall in the living room with my dad, "Hey Cassandra, you look good." Niall said standing up and giving me a hug.

"Thank you you look fantastic." He pulled away and I saw that was in a navy blue suit that made his eyes pop, "Are you almost ready to go?"

"First things first, we need to get some photos of you two." My mom said pulling out get camera, "Looking adorable."

"Are we good to go now?" I asked Niall.

"Yeah." We walked out to his car hand in hand except when he opened my for and jogged around to his side. "Lets get this party started."

When we pulled up to the Prom we could already hear and see the students from outside. When we walked in the dance was in full swing. Some were dancing , a few were grinding, others looked like they showed up drunk, some were making out, and some were being appropriate.

"I present to you the future leaders of our country." He said jokingly. He took my hand and led me to a table with a few of our friends already there, " Hey guys, why is no one dancing?."

"Because have you seen the dance floor, I am not about to join that. It is more like semi-public group sex, out there." (A/N- my friend really described it like that later) Liam said seriously.

"Don't I know it." Niall laughed taking a seat sitting me down next to him.

We all danced to the slow songs but soon even then they were being filled with grinding teenagers.

"What do you say we cut out early and actually go have fun?" Louis said as we sat out another song.

"Sounds like a brilliant idea Lou." Harry said, "I am going to see if Nick will let us borrow his backyard.

"No Nick." Louis said throwing a harsh look towards Harry, "Besides I think we are all set and ready, Ed just texted me." He said passing his phone to Harry.

"Okay, So to Ed's place?" He said standing up and leading the way out of the room.

We followed Louis to Ed's place that was not far from the plaza. I had met Ed but I had never been to his house. Which turned out to be a flat and we were on the roof of his complex.

"Prom still the same now as it was when I was there?" He asked taking one of the seats.

"Depends when you were there was it and I quote 'like semi-pubic group sex', thanks to Liam." Louis told him smirking causing Ed to laugh and Liam to blush.

"Sounds about right."

We ended up sitting on the roof until 11:55 when the first of fireworks went off. Louis and Ed looked at each other and nodded.

Niall pulled me close. And we watched the fireworks together. "Hope you enjoyed your prom."

"I did, I spent it with you." I smiled at him.
