Mullingar, hometown of the famous Niall Horan, and a few thousand others. I was friends with the Horan family when I was younger but since Niall left we had been growing apart. Which is why I was surprised to find an invitation to Greg's wedding. But here I am sitting with his family as Denice walks down the aisle. I know Niall is the best man and I could feel his eyes watching me. A couple years ago I might have been excited but now it makes me nervous. I liked him before he left but he never seemed. interested me in that way before. I liked him now too but I doubt things are different when he has models that he can date.

The wedding was beautiful. And Niall still kept looking at me. Why me? Why now? Why would I not want him looking at me?

At the reception-

"Hello Ana." I heard Niall say from behind me, "How have you been? Heard you have gotten less close to my family since I left." He questioned.

"Hey Niall. So you are gone for three years and that is the first thing you wanted to say to me?" I asked him not knowing how to answer his question .

He laughed before taking the seat next to me, "If I am gonna be honest Ana, I have imagined this moment for a while and nothing ever seemed like the right thing to say."

I have imagined this moment for a while, he thought about me? "I could say the same to you too." I sure as hell thought of him a lot still.

"Great, now that I got you here, talk to me. What have missed in your life?" He questioned taking my drink.

"Not much got married, had a kid, been in and out of prison too." I joked taking my drink back, "In all honesty nothing. In Uni getting a teaching degree and helping out at a school until I can be a teacher."

"Love life?" He asked.

"A date here and there, no one I feel like is the one. And you?" Now that I said out loud I was boring.

"What? You mean you don't see in magazine covers, blogs, twitter. Have you been in a coma dear Ana?" He joked. "But if you do see any of those they are never about me. I am the one that is single and if I do go on a date it is only ever a few dates." Same situation as me.

"I don't want to sound weird or anything but did you like me back when I still lived here?" He asked breaking a little moment of silence we had.

"Yeah I did. How come you decided to ask me now after three years?" I answered.

He started to turn red before he answered, "I did not know if you liked me back. I figured if I asked now I could feel less stupid if you said no."

"What do you mean by 'if you liked me back.'?"

"Well I liked you then and I have liked you since before I left." He said turning more red.

"I mean my feelings for you didn't go away either but-"

"Why does there always have to be a but?" He sighed putting his head down on the table.

"But I am not good at relationships." I finished.

"Neither am I. Girls don't want to date the guy who is still in love with his childhood crush." He says sitting up, "So I have an idea. Lets be in a relationship. You were always good in math, two negatives make a positive."

"No I was horrible at math." I said, "But we can try a relationship anyway."

"Fanastic! C'mon I have to tell Greg this worked." He said pulling me toward his dad and brother, "Plan worked, so I would like to formally introduce you both to my girlfriend Ana."
