"Timothy Eli, in order to explain our story, in a sense, I'll have to first explain your story," he continued.

I furred my brow at his statement unable to fathom what he meant. I looked to Michael who gave me a calming nod.

"What do you mean my story?" I replied confused.

He chuckled in an out of breath type of manner. I stared at him unmoved as he continued.

"Well, I know the story of man," he continued. "And you're a man aren't you?"

I stopped to analyze the question. Technically he was right in terms of species but I had a few people who would fall over themselves to breakdown every way I fell short. Namely my soon to be training partner and big brother Jacob.

"I guess technically," I replied.

He shook his head with another chuckle as Michael stared at me with a look that tried to bait me with a protecting smile, but I could see he was still worried. His gaze bounced from us back to the entrance and it made me uneasy.

"Well, not a mature man but you're a man all the same," He replied smiling. "Am I right?"

I shrugged my shoulders than nodded hesitantly.

"Yeah," I relented.

"Well, Adam your father," he replied.

"How do you know my father?" I cut in.

Michael shook his head exasperated.

"He's not talking about your father Adam, Tim," he replied placing his forehead in his hand

I turned to him confused by his phrase.

"Oh, well what Adam is he talking about?" I replied.

He stared at me blankly then sighed.

"Take a wild guess," he replied. "Semyaza can we pick this up? Tim is a very literal and impatient kid, think about what you say or circles like this will happen by the second."

I stood like a deer in headlights as the two exchanged glances. Michael wore an impatient scowl and Semyaza was nodding in agreement as he continued.

"Adam the father of man, the first man, he was a friend of the angels. He was our brother," he replied staring at Michael as he spoke.

Michael showcased a soft glance just before his face fell to the floor in a sympathetic manner. Semyaza turned to him seconding his demeanor.

"Adam, was like our little brother," he continued. "We taught him everything. He was the darling of the Heaven Realm then. Everything was one. We all knew him. We all knew why Father Yahweh created him. He was the new race. We angels were used to it. Father Yahweh makes new creations all the time, it was nothing out the ordinary. Every now and then he'd bring his creations and let us all see him and we gushed and were in awe over and over again like proud brothers. But from the moment we met Adam we knew he was different?"

His words caught me off-guard as I spoke almost off reflex without thinking.

"Why?" I replied. "What was different?"

He looked at Michael with a look that was almost asking for permission. Michael stared away never making eye contact with Semyaza as he spoke.

"Well, in short he was one of us," Michael replied.

"Wait, what?" I replied surprised by his replied. "Adam was an angel."

Michael turned to me with a you got to be kidding me type stare.
