HIS POV
I was looking for her, the women that I have fallen in love with. She was from Skycrew but I didn't really care, I just cared about her, "Where could she be?" I questioned myself as I walked through the forest. She was taken from me, I don't know by who but I was sure going to find out. Whoever has done this was going to pay, I needed to see her, I was lost without her by my side. My queen.
War drums came from all around me, meaning that my people were on the match for war on Polis. I was casted out so I wouldn't know why they would be but I had a pretty good idea, my mother wanted the commander dead. I thought she was insane for thinking that she could do it. I was so lost in thought when I heard the screams, screams of a woman.
I looked around seeing that my people were surrounding a young woman, she was crying. I couldn't tell what she looked like, I moved closer. To see who it was, just in case that it was Y/n or not, I squinted my eyes. Tilting my head forwards to look closer, "Y/n," It was her, my queen. I stayed still, waiting for the perfect moment to strike on these men that were surround my beloved. She had her arms over her head, shielding it just incase they were going to hit her. If they did, I would cut their throats and watch them bleed to death.
"Please I didn't do anything wrong," She whimpered, I moved closer to hear exactly what they were saying, "I was only trying to get back to your prince," She mumbled under breath. I glared at the men, they were keeping her from me. What was wrong with them? They must be bounty hunters; my mother must have sent an order out for her.
"Our queen sent us to bring you to her, she's doing it for her son," One of them spoke, she was shaking by now. I knew my mother was totally lying, I knew that one for sure. I didn't want her to be scared, she shouldn't be afraid of people. She is strong.
"I don't believe that for a second," I spoke coming out of my hiding spot, there heads turned towards me. Eyes widened, I looked down at y/n, "Are you okay?" I questioned her, she nodded. I looked back up towards the men, they had their swords drawn, "Put your weapons down or you will be held responsible for my actions," I added.
They didn't listen to me, "We don't listen to you, worthless prince," I glared at them, one of them lunged at me. Trying to strike me down but I threw my knife at his throat, that's when the other one ran towards me. I pulled out my sword, connecting the metal together. I drew back, swinging another time, hitting him in the stomach. Making him fall to the ground, I then sliced at his chest.
I was breathing heavy when I looked up at her, her eyes widened at she was staring at me, "Y/n," I whispered, dropping the sword and walking towards her. She didn't move, I dropped to my knees when I made it to her. She was just staring at me, "Please talk to me," I begged reaching my arms, she fell right into my arms.
"I was so scared," She whimpered, she was crying into my chest, "Don't believe what they were saying," She whispered looking up at me, I nodded knowing that she was right. I was her king and she was my queen.
