Pregnant By A Stranger (Completed)

Hospital

I drove quickly towards the hospital, desperate to see my brother and Shimmer.

Later...

Finally, the nurse let me and Maria in to Damien. Maria smiled as she saw Damien looking at her.
Over the past few days Damien had been recovering pretty fast. Now he is just about recovered. I watched Maria hug Damien. They then shared a kiss and I looked away in disgust.
"I'm going to go and see Shimmer." I said loudly to the room seeing as the two love birds were too busy making out.
I quickly walked out of the room and into Shimmer's room. My heart stopped for a few seconds. I froze. Where is Shimmer?
I looked to see an empty bed, instead of seeing Shimmer. My blood boiled and I became slightly sweaty. If Kieran were to find out that she was missing then he would tear the full place down looking for her!
     I ran out of the room and bumped into a nurse.
"Sorry!" We both said in unison as we stumbled back.
"It's fine." I inhaled and exhaled to calm myself.
"Is everything ok?" The nurse asked me.
"Do you know where Shimmer Sutherland is?" I quickly asked her.
"Her room has been moved. It's in room 129, just walk down the corridor and turn left." The nurse told me before rushing away.
       I sighed. At least Damien and Shimmer would be together. Damien was in 128 and Shimmer in 129,  coincidence much!
    I quickly rushed off towards Shimmer's new room.
I opened the door and my heart was beating slightly faster than usual.
My eyes searched the room and then fell on Shimmer. She was pale. When I say pale, I mean pale. Shimmer had a tan complexion. So right now she was close to white. I was worried.
Suddenly, doctors and nurses rushed into the room. They had equipment and... stuff.
"What's happening?" I asked them seriously.
"She is dying!" The nurse sad to me. I froze. Dying. Did I hear right? Shimmer is dying? No no no no no! She can't! She... this has to be a joke.
"Good joke! But for real what is happening?" I asked.
"Shimmer is DYING!" The nurse shouted to me. My eyes widened as tears slid down my cheeks.
She can't be! I shook my head and let out a shaky breath before running out of the room. I ran into Damien's room.
There I saw Damien and Marie kissing... still. However Damien had his shirt off and his hands was up Maria's dress.
I shakily let out my sobs. Damien immediately pulled his hands out of Maria's dress. He looked at me worriedly and Maria looked... embarrassed.
"Katya... you crying!" Damien said.
"Of course I am! Shimmer is fucking dying next door!" I shouted to them, I felt as if I was going to explode.
"Shimmer? Where is she?" Damien asked as he tried to get up.

No reply.

I ran out of the room and started the car. Right now I needed to tell Kieran.
I raced and literally broke the speed limit more than twice. I halted to a stop my head nearly hitting the wheel as the traffic lights became red.
I groaned in frustration. I so badly wanted to just rev the engine and speed through the traffic, however I knew better.
Finally, I was home. I hammered the door desperate wanting someone to open it! I couldn't be bothered taking the keys out of my pocket.
I mentally let out a sigh of relief when my mother opened the door. Her smiled fell when she saw me.
"What happened Katya? Are you alright?" She asked me searching me for injuries.
"You should be asking about Shimmer!" I shouted as a new wave of tears rushed down my cheeks.
Suddenly Kieran ran into the room. He grabbed my wrist and I looked up to him.
"What's wrong with Shimmer?" He asked getting angrier by the second.

No reply!

"What happened?" He roared. I jumped at his sudden outburst.

"Shimmer is fucking dying!" I yelled out in frustration. My brothers grip on my wrist immediately loosened.

"What?" He asked me, his voice barely over a whisper.

"Shimmer is nearing her death. She has lost her battle! Shimmer will be dead!" I sobbed. I met Kieran's eyes and they clearly showed pain, fear, disbelief.
He quickly let go of me and grabbed his jacket.
"I need to see Shimmer. I may not come back." Kieran shouted before the door was slammed shut.
I shut my eyes as the door slammed shut. Then my sobs became increasingly unbearable. My throat burned and my lungs begged me to stop. I also felt dizzy and light headed which made the matters worser.

Kieran's POV
(Before Katya comes)

I took a bite of the red apple. Suddenly I heard someone hammering the door. My brows furrowed in confusion as to why someone was banging the door as if the world depended on it.
Just then my mother appeared and quickly opened the door. From the kitchen I could see barely close to nothing. However I could hear everything.

"What happened Katya? Are you alright?" My mom asked Katya worried .
"You should be asking about Shimmer!" Katya shouted as tears ran down her already puffy cheeks.
Shimmer? My apple dropped from my hand when I heard my lovers name. I ran into the room which Katya and my mom were located. I grabbed my sisters wrist and she looked up to me. Katya had tears down her cheeks and was breathless, her hair was a mess and her cheeks were puffy.
"What's wrong with Shimmer?" I asked as I felt my anger radiating off of me like heat radiating off of a heater.

No reply!

"What happened?" I roared. Katya jumped at my sudden outburst. When I asked a question concerning Shimmer I needed an answer.

"Shimmer is fucking dying!" My sister yelled out in frustration. My grip on Katya's wrist immediately loosened when she said that. I felt as if my world was about to collapse. My heart beat increased.

"What?" I asked her, my voice barely over a whisper.

"Shimmer is nearing her death. She has lost her battle! Shimmer will be dead!" Katya sobbed. My sisters eyes met mine and I knew that they clearly showed pain, fear, disbelief.
I quickly let go of my sister and grabbed my jacket.
"I need to see Shimmer. I may not come back." I shouted before the door was slammed shut.
I raced to the car and revved the engine. I sped to the hospital. This could not be happening! Shimmer can't be dying! She can't leave me!
I smacked the hospital doors open and stormed to the reception.

"Sir may I help..." she was trailed off when I quickly got to the point.

"I want a full report on Shimmer's health. I want to see her and I don't fucking care if I'm not allowed. I love her and if anything happens to Shimmer then I will kill you! Get me the report now!" I shouted to the nurse. My heart raced as she nodded and ran off.
