Dreading The Doctors

Shimmer's POV

I woke up in the morning with a sore stomach! It hurt so badly! My stomach had been hurting like this for 3 days! I tried to take paracetamol but it wouldn't really work!
        I turned around to see Kieran asleep. His breathing rate was steady and he was shirtless! Damn! He be looking hella fine! I chuckled to myself at the thought of saying that out loud!
I slowly got up and went into Kieran's bathroom. I wasn't feeling very well as decided that I should just go to the doctors like Kieran had been saying for the last couple of day.
Suddenly I felt a fierce pain shoot in my stomach. I immediately held onto my stomach as I moaned. It really hurt when my stomach was like this.
"Are you ok?" I heard Kieran say from behind me.
"Kieran... my.." I couldn't even finish my sentence. The pain was excruciating! It hurt so much and I literally couldn't bare it!
"Shimmer! I'm taking you to the doctors!" He said as he carefully held me bridal style.
He placed me on the bed and told me to relax. But I couldn't! The pain was so bad. He quickly went into the bathroom and I'm presuming he brushed his teeth and fixed his hair.
Suddenly I heard glass shattering! I got such a fright! What the hell was that? I knew that it wasn't Kieran as the noise had come from downstairs. I couldn't get up and move in order to see what was happening!
All of a sudden, the door for Kieran's room was smacked open. I looked startled as I saw a guy at the door. He smirked when he saw me. He walked closer to me as I tried to back away.
"Well, well, well look at what we have here!" The man said. I suddenly heard laughter. Shit! It wasn't just him!
"What's your name?" Another man asked me.
"Sh-Shimmer!" I said as one man walked toward me. I couldn't move back any more as I was standing against the wall. The men smirked as they walked towards me and blocked me from any escape that I could make with my sore stomach. The biggest man out of the two came forward and punched me on the side of my face. My head hit against the wall and I cried in pain. I needed Kieran to come back but I couldn't say anything! The other man punched me my hip. I screamed in pain as I fell to the ground. The first man kicked my head and suddenly I was pulled into the darkness.

Kieran's POV

I quickly went into the bathroom in order to brush my teeth and fix my hair slightly so that I could take Shimmer to the hospital.
As I finished brushing our teeth hair I heard Shimmer scream. I dropped my brush and ran back into my room.
I was devastated when I saw what was happening! I saw two of Jack's men towering over Shimmer who was unconscious on the floor! It was just then that I saw blood on the side of her head! It had stained my carpets and
I felt my fury growing.
I punched the biggest guy and he looked shocked.
"What the fuck?" He said as he turned around holding his head where I had punched him.
"How dare you fucking even think of touching Shimmer?" I shouted at him. I roundhouse kicked him on his face as he fell to the floor. He immediately back away and started to ran downstairs. I ran after him not wanting to spare him. I grabbed his shirt and threw combos at him. He staggered back into the wall. I was seething with fury! I kicked him in the head as he held it in pain. He stumbled towards the door and ran outside.
"Cazzo bastardo !" I shouted at them.
Suddenly I remembered that Shimmer was upstairs unconscious. I rushed upstairs and flung my room door open. I looked at Shimmer in horror. She had a bleeding forehead and a bruised hip as far as I could see.
I carefully picked her up and quickly went to my car. I lay her in the back seat as I raced to the hospital.

At the hospital...
"Someone help!" I shouted as we entered the hospital. I shouted to anyone just anyone who could help me.
A nurse quickly came my way with a hospital bed. She didn't say anything as I lay Shimmer down on the bed. I looked at her bleeding forehead. She had lost so much blood! The nurse rushed away and I tried to follow them however she wouldn't let me!
" I'm sorry sir but your not allowed to come in here!" She said.
"No! I need to go in there with her!" I pleaded the nurse to let me go however she wouldn't allow of it! I grumbled in frustration. She sent me back to the waiting room and I unwillingly took a seat.
I felt guilty for Shimmer being here! How did I not hear what was happening in my room??? How did I not know that Jack had sent some men??? I held my face as I felt tears run down my face. I remembered Shimmer just lying there on the ground lifelessly with a bleeding forehead and a bruised hip!
How dare that even think of touching her? How dare they? They fucking sent my Shimmer to hospital! The tears ran faster and I began to unwillingly sob! I couldn't help it! Whenever Shimmer was involved with something I always became emotional for some reason! I don't know why but I did!
I waited for about an hour before I heard my stomach roar in hunger for the 29th time!
"Eat this!" Said a nurse as she held out a sandwich and a bag.
"Thanks!" I said as I reluctantly took the stuff off of her. She smiled and walked away.
I stared at the sandwich! For some reason I didn't have an appetite! Yet my stomach was growling! I realised that i was shaking.
I sighed as I stared at the sandwich in the container. I slowly opened the box with hardly any energy left! I slowly held a sandwich in my hand. I'm not sure why but I couldn't bring myself around to eating! I knew I needed to eat however I just couldn't!
After about 20 minutes I managed to take one tiny bite out of the sandwich! I was still shaky and I didn't have much energy!
I forced myself to eat! I ate for Shimmer! I thought of Shimmer! What would she do if she knew I didn't eat? How would she react? I slowly ate the food that the nurse brought for me.
Soon I wasn't shaking! Which was good because I wasn't very stable when I was shaking! All of a sudden I felt really weary! I felt really tired! It take me very long to fall asleep! Even though I didn't want to my body let me down!
