We are the Palette of God’s Living Light
We create our colors and the shadows
as we stand in the radiance of the Son
And we shimmer forth the dance so Bright
To share with everyone.
And we can reflect the magnificence
Of this Creation we are given in to live
As we seek to express through our music and art
And the love that life can bring
And every day we are given a canvas that is white
And what we paint upon that canvas
As it’s filtered through our mind and sight
And how can we ever express
the Love God has brought for us to give
How do we create as God the magic of live he gives.
And so we dream, and so we play
upon this living stage of God’s of paradise
And seek to share heavens grace
And trials we find in just being alive.
And nature is our temple
and our body is a temple too
and we dwell in the Garden and eat the apple too.
And no matter how many times we take a bite
We still can’t seem to get this love thing right
So we choose to paint with colors
That reflect our state of mind
And we beg to be an instrument
Of god’s Light and love divine
And we hang the pictures we created
In the hallways of space and time
And we smile at those reflections
and the efforts to capture this beauty,
and the Love that inspires our life.
And we thank God for the beauty of creation
And the many palettes you bring
So we can be the expression of the light in everything.
