For one glorious Sunrise
Can stop you in your tracks
So you can Breathe in God’s Creation
And these mysteries entrance
And we are filled with Awe
At the Beauty of Life that is here
And for a moment all is good
And life seems oh so pure.
For God in all his Glory
Is here with you right now
To help to paint the sky with light
And clouds of gold that do inspire.
And everyone can appreciate
The artwork of the Lord
the magic strokes and colors that’s painted
with such beauty to adore
They only last a few moments
So we appreciate them more
For Life is such a miracle
and we don’t want these moments to slip away.
There are so many details in life
And so many tedious things to do
That when we all see this beauty
It can come it blesses us and renews
It opens up our hearts
And it touches deep into our soul
For one glorious sunrise
Can inspire us and reveal
A crack into the heavens
And what might be there for us to see
So we reach our hands up high
And see the Glory of God’s face across the sky.
