So I'm pretty sure everyone has heard about this. I remember I was in the kitchen washing dishes when they were doing the national coverage in like 10 a.m.

I was SOOOO confused when this happened. My same reaction the first time I heard about the church shooting last year. I had no idea what was going on.

I then realized that some guy shot a gay nightclub in Orlando. 50 were already dead and others (I can't remember how much) were wounded. More ppl could end up being dead bc a lot of ppl in the hospital could die from their injuries.

It's the biggest terrorist attack in US history I believe. I was like wayment, so 9-11 ain't as worse as this? Damn son 😩

It's a damn shame how ppl in the US are still not accepting the fact that ppl are homosexual, transsexual, pansexual, and other sexualities relating to the LGBT community.

I don't even wanna talk about that for long bc my dad has been saying some SERIOUSLY homo phobic shit lately. And it pisses me off. When I called him a homophobe he was like

"I'm not. That's just not my thing."

That's why I decided to write this chapter. I know it's not black girl related, but this topic related to my life so I just decided to write.

But this world isn't an utopia. No one is perfect. We all are human. We make mistakes. Even animals aren't perfect. But it still doesn't excuse the brutal and irrational behavior and acts of hatred.

Me being a young black female, personally for me living out on this world on my own is scary. I'm not even finna go into detail bc y'all know. Y'all know how hard it is for a black female in this world.

And I watch crime shows. They my favorite. Bitch, ppl out here crazy then a mf. No joke. I honestly do not feel safe to live out on my own. Imma still move out my parents house tho. This shit ain't forever. Hell no! 😂😂

I am going to legally be an adult in 2 years. Reality sinks in bc each day that passes, that time comes. I remember I used to be excited to turn 18, but now, I kinda wish I wasn't rushing.

Anyways, basically I'm tying that with the Orlando shooting. Violence on Earth period. This world is dangerous. Ppl are ruthless. Always be aware of your surroundings. Be careful. This world is fucked up.

It may never get better, but just...be careful out there. To all of y'all. You don't even have to be grown bc children is obviously out here suffering too. Be safe y'all. Deadass.
