This new young man did not want to jump into sex to quickly. Nichole was a very sexual person as I am sure you have figured out by now. I know from talking to her, she didn't "get it." After all her previous relationship revolved around sex, not around building a relationship.
I do know that they did make love before she died, which I am sure made his loss even more magnified.
