We go to the roofs and start jumping and twirling happily. Naomi did a front flip off a roof and looked at me expectantly. I took a few steps back then did a front flip off the roof then landed on the next roof with my hands, then did a back flip twist.
She nodded at me. “Not bad.”
“So where do you think the Turtles are?” I asked.
Naomi shrugged. “Let’s get to higher ground and see then.”
I nodded and we climbed up a small water tower. I thought and pointed in a direction. “Let’s try over there.”
“Ahhh!” I heard someone scream. Then some thudding down some of the side metal steps that connect window to window.
Naomi looked at me annoyed. “That was Mikey.”
“Mikey!?” I exclaimed. “Oh no!” I ran off in the direction with Naomi behind me. As we ran, I noticed that there was some shadows gathering on the roofs around where we thought we knew where the Turtles are.
“You see that?” I asked.
Naomi came up beside me then stopped me. “Those are actual ninja…”
“Ninja?” I repeated. “Like human ninja?”
“Yes!” Naomi snapped. “This can’t be good…”
