I'm so sorry for the long wait. School started-I am so sad-and they already gave us homework.

Percy and Annabeth are both humans.

Enjoy!!

Annabeth POV(Imagine her in toddlers voice):

My parents and I just moved into a new house.

I am seven years old.

I have blonde curly hair and grey eyes. I have a tan from being outside to much.

Yeah.

At my old house, I used to play a lot with my neighbors. And now we moved away, and I can't play with them anymore.

I pouted as I thought of that.

I don't want to be alone.

Plus my mom died when I was born and I never got to see her. Now my dad married my step mom, who hates me.

I don't like my family.

"Annabeth this is your room" my dad, Frederick, told me snapping me out of my thoughts.

I look around and saw my room.

Annabeth's room.

"Pretty" I said, as I looked around. "I can put my book on the shelf."

"You like it?" my dad asked.

"I love it" I said. "Thank you."

"Your welcome sweetie" my dad said. He turned around and walked out of my room.

I went to my window and looked outside.

There is this tree that I can climb across-why would I ever do that though?-and it connects to the house across from ours.

But then I see this boy looking out his window also.

He has sea green eyes and black messy hair.

We locked eyes and I melted in those eyes.

Why are they so pretty?

I opened my window and he did the same.

"Hi" I smiled at him.

"Hi" he said. "What's your name? Are you our new neighbors?"

"My name's Annabeth" I said. "What's yours? And yes we just moved."

"Percy" the boy smirked. "I've wanted neighbors since forever."

"Have you seen this tree?" I asked.

"I have" Percy said. "I want to climb it someday."

"What about now?" I said, grinning.

"You sure?" Percy asked. "You just moved here. And you're very beautiful to get dirty."
