She was shocked to find someone so far out.
No human had really ever gone out this far so it took her a while to realize that they were even human.
She watched them as they wandered around. Wondering if she should help them or just leave them.
Yet she never did take her eyes off them. Hiding out of sight in the trees.
Once night came, she left food for them while they slept.
It was from that night that she decided to watch over them.
It was like this for the next few weeks. She followed them the whole time while leaving food during the night.
It's when the helicopters came when she finally acted. Fearing that the giant metal things in the sky would hurt the human.
At night she had bitten them, putting only a very tiny amount as to only keep them asleep.
She carried them back to her home laying them down in the nest she had prepared just for them.
