Disappearance!

It was the night after I met Nezu that I was out on the streets again. I really loved being outside and for the past months nothing happened at all after the Skinner was caught. Rumors about his condition spread like wildfire around and so everyone was watching their backs. Not that the rumors were entirely true. I mean that cat officer did some damage to that man too and it was something personal which no one knew.

Sometimes I wonder if I was really a good guy.

I injure people.

I fight them.

And

I could kill them.

However that wasn't the point. Each time I would think about that I start to remember myself why I was doing this and the results of my doings. I might not be a hero but I was one in their eyes. My district got my back as much as I had theirs.

Me: What a nice night!

Honestly I wished for it to stay like this. It was the best and I knew it. Maybe it was too silent. Something about this night didn't sit right with me. There was something up and my instincts were telling me that. The thing was, there was nothing indicating anything bad at all.

Still that feeling was that I couldn't shake off completely and so I started checking more than just my daily routine. Something was up and I had to figure out what it was.

I don't like this feeling.

Slowly but surely I started checking out each and every abandoned building in case I would find some clue about them but there was nothing, nothing at all. Not even a single hair strain was left from any person.

After checking soo many locations, I finally arrived at the last one which was in fact a huge abandoned school. They should be safe there since it was me who told them to hide there and helped them move. However when I arrived, there was no one there.

Me: ... What the...

If you didn't know this place then you wouldn't have noticed the marks on the ground or some other marks all around the place.
