Nightmare shook his skull and sighed softly, gazing at the broken tree stump when he heard footsteps. He didn't need to turn around as he can already sense the positive energy approaching. His tentacles twitched in annoyance at the positivity.

"Brother..." "What is it Dream?" "You..." Dream trailed off as Nightmare heard the footsteps stopping. He then finally turned to his brother. "You... You miss him too... Don't you...?" Dream quietly muttered. Nightmare stayed silent as he turned back to tree. He sighed.

"Have you found any traces yet?" "No... We... We were never able to feel Esme's emotional energy before he disappeared..." Dream whispered quietly, tearing up a bit. He misses Esmeray and Nightmare couldn't blame him... Esmeray was the only person that made effort to become friends with Nightmare and even made him and Dream grow closer, protected Nightmare from the bullies and made Dream realize that... that those mean villagers were just using him...

Nightmare remembers it well, he had eaten the Negative apples to protect himself and Dream since the villagers had shown their true colors... It happened a few months after Esmeray disappeared too... "Let's not give up brother, we will find him..." Dream smiled softly and Nightmare nodded.

"We will... ... Any... Word from the council...?" Nightmare whispered, Dream staying silent for a moment. "They're planning an ambush on Error, and had locked Blue up in his AU again..." "Damn brats..." Nightmare growled under his breath, he calmed when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "I know you're angry brother, but there's a way we can keep Error from the ambush AU." "Alright..."

None of them noticed how the Moon shone brightly at the mention of the glitch, nor did they notice something floating down until it was plopped. Both twins turned around so fast, tentacles and bow ready only to stop in surprise when they saw nothing. Dream looked down and gasped lightly.

"Brother!" Dream then rushed towards a locket and carefully picked it up. The locket was shaped to a blue crescent moon with the string a beautiful black. Nightmare walked over and looked at it and Dream opened it.

Inside was a photo of Esmeray, no younger than eight from what it looks like, a huge grin on his face with arms wrapped around two children. One of them was a skeleton who looked to be a female judging by their bone structure and thick black wings from the side of their sockets, most likely drawn to look like lashes. She was posing while holding a peace sign.

The other looked to be neither a boy or a girl as their bone structure was hard to determine, but still held the same beauty that Esmeray and the other sported. Two eyelights with what looks like a black hearts underneath the skeleton's eyesockets, looking like freckles. "He... He had siblings?" Dream blinked in surprise while Nightmare frowned, he couldn't help but find the two littler ones familiar... Probably just his imagination.

"From the looks of it, Yes... But Esmeray seems so young here compared to when we met him." "Do... Do you think something happened... Hence why he was alone...?" Dream softly asked and Nightmare tsked. "I have no doubt about it... Otherwise, he would've introduced them to us." Nightmare spoke and then glanced at Dream, turning his skull away from the locket.

"If you don't mind, I'll take it with me and see if I can feel something from it." "I don't mind at all brother." Dream smiled gently, giving it to Nightmare. "Plus, knowing Ink, he would no doubt try to snatch it from me... And maybe try and make an AU with them..." Dream couldn't help but frown at Ink creating copies inspired by his older brother, and his possibly deceased older or little siblings.

Nightmare nodded, he then retreated his tendrils and then hugged Dream carefully, Dream smiling and returning the hug. "Goodluck brother." "Goodluck as well, Dream... See you next battle." Dream nodded back and then the two left.
