Chapter 52

The words that spilled from Yoongi's lips sent Y/N into a stunned silence. Unable to wrap her mind around what he had said, Y/N just stared at him in shock.

Yoongi's heart began to race at the blank look on Y/N's face and he knew right away that he had messed everything up. "I'm... I'm sorry. I know it's probably not what you want since you're a human and I'm a hybrid, but I can't... I can't help how I feel." Taking a deep breath and trying not to let Y/N see the hurt in his face, Yoongi moved his hand away from her cheek. "I... I promise I won't say it again. I'm really sor..."

Yoongi's words were cut off as Y/N gently pressed her lips to his, hoping the kiss could tell him everything that her mind was having trouble putting into words. She wrapped an arm around his neck, pulling him close and running her fingers through his hair.

At her gentle touch, Yoongi groaned in pleasure, deepening the kiss. He nibbled on her bottom lip then slid his tongue in her mouth when her lips parted. His fears beginning to evaporate, Yoongi continued to kiss Y/N, wanting nothing more than the girl in his arms.

Y/N pulled back, her vision blurry from the tears she had been trying to hold back, and gave the nervous cat a small smile. "Did you... did you mean what you said?"

Although he wanted to lie, Yoongi nodded his head. "Yes." His words were soft and quiet, full of fear, longing and hope. "Yes. I fell in love with you. I know I'm only supposed to be your hybrid, but... but I want more than that."

As she studied his face, Y/N could see the truth in his pretty eyes, the way he chewed his bottom lip, turning it a bright crimson, the hand that was currently twisted in her shirt, the way his eyes kept darting back and forth between hers. Y/N ran a thumb over his bottom lip, until he released it from the grip he had on it. She then leaned forward and pressed a sweet kiss to his lips. "I love you too my kitty."

Yoongi's mouth dropped open in shock, his heart stopping then racing through his chest, feeling as though it was seconds from bursting right through. Did... did Y/N just tell me she loves me? Unable to stop himself, Yoongi flipped Y/N onto her back and leaned over her, his eyes wide. "Say it again. Please. Say it again." Yoongi's words were desperate.

Y/N ran a hand through his hair then stroked the base of one fuzzy ear, grinning when he leaned into her touch, the raspy purr erupting from his chest. "I. Love. You. Kitty." With each word, Y/N placed a sweet kiss on his pouty lips.

"Do... do you mean it?" Yoongi's eyes were full of hope as he searched her face. Please. Please let this be true. Don't let it be a joke. He knew that if she were to say no then he would never recover from it, never feel completely whole again, but deep down he knew that the girl in his arms was telling him the truth.

Pulling him in for a kiss, Y/N nodded her head. "Yes. I love you kitty. I love you. I'm in love with you."

His eyes filling with tears, Yoongi couldn't stop the ecstatic grin that crossed his face. Yoongi buried his face in her neck, unable to halt the tears that streamed down his cheeks and the soft sobs that mixed with his happy purrs.

"Oh my sweet kitty. Please don't be sad," Y/N pleaded as she continued to stroke his ear. "Please don't cry."

Yoongi lifted his head, giving her a watery smile. "I'm... I'm not sad. I'm happy. So happy." Bending down, Yoongi captured her lips with his in a gentle kiss that quickly turned desperate, turned passionate. Stroking her bottom lips with his tongue, Yoongi groaned when her lips parted for him.

Y/N tightened her fingers in his hair as his soft tongue met hers, the sensation both sweet and sensual at the same time. Losing herself in the kiss, Y/N released his hair then ran her fingers down his back, grinning against his lips when Yoongi shivered in her embrace. "You make me happy too my kitty."
