Rachel is in her apartment anxiously awaiting the phone call to hear back about Fanny Brice in Funny Girl. She's completely nervous and can't help but think about what she heard Rupert and Paolo say at her chemistry read. "Well, Paolo, you're our Tony winner. What did you think?" Rupert asked Paolo as Rachel listened in. "Aw, she's charming. And she certainly looks right for the part. I just fear that she's too young, you know, too green?" Paolo said honestly. "That was my concern as well. Lack of experience. She'd be a discovery, but it's such a risk," Rupert sighed. "I mean, that part, it's a mountain. At her age, I never could have pulled it off," Paolo said honestly. "Now, where did we leave it with Claire Danes' people?" Rupert said as Rachel hid out heartbroken. How could things have gotten so complicated for her? Wasn't her dream supposed to be coming true. As she waited she couldn't help but think of the perfect song to sing, The Beatles 'Yesterday'.

As Rachel sang she took a walk around New York City going to all the places she was with Finn on their first trip there. She walked by the theatre where they were hanging up the 'Funny Girl' musical sign. She then walked past Sardi's, remembering her date with Finn there. She then walked through central park, where the New Directions had visited when they were trying to get inspired to perform at Regionals. She then arrived at the fountain they had also performed at when they were going around New York. She soon made her way to the Bow Bridge, the place Finn had told her to meet him when he tried to get back together with her on that same New York trip. Rachel looked at her phone at the photo the New Directions had taken after winning Sectionals the first time. She couldn't help but think how much easier life had been at that time and longed to be back. Rachel quickly put her phone done before sitting at her mirror to complete the song. Rachel sighed as she finished the song seeing her phone hadn't gone off, still worrying that the role she had longed for was no longer an option for her.

Cut to McKinley High where Sam is laying on the piano. "So how does it work with gay marriage, you take his last name or does he take yours, or?" Sam asked slightly confused as he looked towards Blaine. "Right now, I'm honestly just excited that Kurt said yes," Blaine smiled a bit "Hey, are you looking forward to prom?". Sam just shrugged, he was somewhat excited for prom but things with Quinn weren't exactly where he wanted them to be. "I fell asleep last night while Tina was texting me about her prom dress," Blaine chuckled a bit before noticing the blank expression on Sam's face. "Are you okay?" Blaine asked as Sam sat up sighing. "I just...thought when I asked Quinn to prom it would've cleared things up between us..." Sam said as Blaine nodded. "So I'm guessing she didn't agree to date again?" Blaine asked. "No," Sam said shaking his head "I'm just...so confused about what she wants. She says she isn't good with relationships but also doesn't want us to see other people. I just don't know what's going on. I wish I knew if this was like a real date or not." Blaine looked at Sam sympathetically. "Damn, I have seriously been unlucky in love," Sam sighed as Blaine was about to respond his thoughts were interrupted by Will entering. "Come on, guys, we're back with the Beatles," Will exclaimed as the New Directions got excited as they took their seats. "Now this week's lesson has almost come to an end and I'm really proud of how you guys have done with it. But there is something very important coming up this weekend," Will smiled as he wrote 'Prom' on the board as the New Directions cheered, all but Sam who still looked conflicted over Prom. "Much like every year, we are the prom once again," Will grinned. "Oh joy," Kitty said rolling her eyes. "Now besides completing our Beatles lesson, we will also be preparing songs to perform at the," Will said as he gestured towards where he had written "Prom".

Just then the PA system kicked on as Sue's voice rang over the school. "Good afternoon, McKinley High. This year, the senior and junior proms will be fused together, not that it matters but the budgets are tight thanks to the failed leadership of Principal Figgins," Sue said as the New Directions made a face, this was actually good news for them, they didn't have to perform at two separate proms. "This means the nominees for King and Queen are from both the junior and senior classes. And now for the moment that will crush 99% of your misguided views about your own popularity. Here are your nominees for Prom King and Queen," Sue said as the New Directions held their breaths, particularly the Seniors. "First, here are your nominees for Prom King: Blaine Anderson..." Sue said as Blaine beamed as the New Directions cheered for him, Sam pat him on the back. "...Sam Evans," Sue said as Sam beamed knowing Quinn would be extremely happy that he was a potential prom king. "Artie Abrams..." Sue said as Artie looked stunned as Kitty kissed his cheek. "And "Stoner" Brett Bukowski," Sue said as we cut to Stoner Brett who is asleep in a classroom. "And now onto the Queen," Sue said as Tina looked nervous. "Please let it be me God, please let it be me Yahweh, please let it be me," Tina said in a voice over as she held his breath. "Sugar Motta..." Sue said as cut to Sugar squealing excitedly in a classroom full of people as she handed out money to them. "...Aimee Ryan......Jordan Stern," Sue said as we cut to the cheerios locker room as Aimee and Jordan celebrate with and cheerios. "And, inexplicably, Tina Cohen-Chang," Sue said with distain. "Yes! Yes!" Tina celebrated. "Congratulations," Sue said in a lackluster voice. "Yes! Yes! Oh, my God, yes!" Tina continued to celebrate. "Six of you will be disappointed," Sue shrugged as she went off the PA system. "Yes! Yeah! Yeah! Yes!" Tina continued to celebrate as Blaine approached her. "Tina. Wow! I know this is what you've always wanted. Maybe we should run for prom court together," Blaine smiled as Tina nodded. "Definitely. We are so going win this! This is my chance to be bigger than Jesus," Tina said as Kitty was taken aback as were most of the New Directions. "So can I count on all your votes?" Tina asked in a hopeful tone as the New Directions grew silent. "Awkward," Unique whispered. "You've got mine," Marley offered trying to be supportive. "Thank you Marley! If only the rest of you could be so supportive of one of your own," Tina said slightly annoyed before turning towards the band "Hit it!" She then began to perform The Beatles 'Revolution'.

At first, Blaine seemed to be the only one into the performance but some of the New Directions like Marley seemed to slowly get into the performance. When the bell rang, everyone seemed to rush out on Tina. "What?" Tina said crushed. "Later," Ryder said to Jake. "Seriously?" Tina scoffed annoyed. "Congratulations, Tina," Marley offered supportively as Jake pulled her out. "Seriously?" Tina sighed still upset by what happened as she went to get her things hoping things would somehow work out better for her during the prom.

Cut to the Spotlight Diner where Rachel and Santana are working where Dani keeps looking over at Santana lovingly as Rachel paces around. "That's it. My dreams of playing Fanny Brice are over," Rachel whimpered. "I'm sure it isn't over," Santana said trying to be encouraging. "If I got it, I would've heard by now," Rachel huffed. "Okay?" Santana said confused. "And-and-and the thing is, is that I wasn't just auditioning for this for myself. I was auditioning for everyone at McKinley," Rachel said as Santana made a face "Okay? I wanted to show that we're talented enough to make it in this insane business." "Okay, well, one of us sort of already did," Santana said as Rachel looked surprised "I booked a commercial. It's a little embarrassing, because it was for that yeast infection medication, Yeast-I-Stat. But they sent me a rough cut. Do you want to see?" "Yeah," Rachel smiled a bit as Santana pulled out her phone to show Rachel the commercial she had shot.

Cut to Santana rolling out dough. "Let's face it. There are good kinds of yeast, and bad kinds of yeast," Santana said as she then grabbed the box "But bad yeast goes scat with Yeast-I-Stat. Burns and itch are a thing of the past. And Yeast-I-Stat's Seven Easy-Step Application makes feeling fresh a breeze," Santana said in a voice over as clips of her with a ribbon dancing as well as her leaping in the air and swinging on swing played. We then cut to her at a party with a bagels. "I like my yeast in my bagel...but not in my muffin," Santana said to the camera as we cut to different clips of Santana as a song played as she danced around, blowing bubbles as well as eating a bagel. "I'm free!" Santana's voice over played as the commercial ended once again showing the packaging.

Cut back to the spotlight diner as the video ends. "Wow. That's...that's great. Honestly, if it were anyone else, I'd be so jealous, but I'm-I'm-I'm...really proud of you," Rachel said honestly. "Thank you. Thank you," Santana smiled as she and Rachel shared a hug as Rachel continued to worry about her dream role wondering if it was just going to slip through her fingers.

Cut to McKinley High as Bree approaches Kitty with her posse on a mission. "Oh, hi, Kitty. Could I talk to you for a second?" Bree asked as Kitty turned around. "Umm sure Bree...what's going on?" Kitty asked slightly nervous about what Bree wanted to talk to her about. "I heard you were going to vote for that Asian Girl on the cheerios for Prom Queen instead of supporting our dear friend Jordan who's neck was broken after your failed leadership as head cheerio," Bree said in her usual fake nice voice as Jordan played up her injury "Why is that?" "I just felt like it was her turn....she's been through a lot. Besides, the only non cheerio nominee is Sugar, so why are you so caught up on Tina?" Kitty shot back at Bree. "Because Asian girl from Glee Club isn't one of us! Okay, yes she may be on the cheerios but her dedication is to that God awful Glee Club that you are somehow still a member of. We've had Prom Queens from Glee Club, including the a former crippled cheerio and a gay dude. And if we're not careful, I swear to God we're gonna have a black transsexual named Unique as Prom Queen before we have a full time Cheerio as Prom Queen," Bree said slightly annoyed glaring at Kitty. "You better think very carefully about your decision Kitty because ever since you started dating that wheelchair kid, you reputation is on the line. Unless you want to just be another loser in that club, you better support the cheerios before your...friend in the glee club," Bree said as she snapped her fingers signaling the other cheerios to leave as they glared at Kitty. Kitty just stood there worried about what she should do, because her choice would affect the rest of her high school career.

Cut to the choir room where Sam is fooling around at the piano as Quinn walks in. "Hi," she smiled softly. "Hi," Sam smiled back at her as she closed the door. "Blaine said you wanted to see me," Quinn said as she sat beside Sam. "Yeah uhh...have you made up your mind yet? You know about us?" Sam asked as Quinn bit her lip. "I'm still conflicted but...I want to be with you," she admitted. "Maybe I can sing something that will make it a definite kind of thing?" Sam said in a hopeful tone as he guided Quinn to a seat. "Oh? You prepared a song for me? What is the Justin Bieber Experience making a return?" She joked as Sam chuckled. "No. Nothing like that. Umm...this week in Glee Club we were singing songs by The Beatles and I was looking through their songs and this one reminded me of you...of how I feel whenever I'm around you. So ummm..this is my love song to you," Sam said as he signaled to the band to play 'Something' by The Beatles.

Sam walks up to Quinn as he sings holding her hands in his. Quinn smiles up at him finding his performance sweet and is once again falling for him all over again. Sam soon fantasizes about them being onstage in the auditorium as they dance together like they're at the prom together. We cut back to the choir room where Quinn is smiling and dancing with him, having her arms wrapped around him as the song ends. They're both breathless as Quinn also looks emotional. "So...what do you say now?" Sam asks looking deep into her eyes. "I say....yes," Quinn said entranced by him "I love you Sam. I always have and probably always will. Of course I want to be your girlfriend, I just want to be good enough to be her." "You will be...I mean you are!" Sam corrected himself as Quinn chuckled as he picked her up from the dip. "Just kiss me already," she said as he pulled her in for a long passionate kiss, glad the two were finally officially together again.

Cut to NYADA where Rachel and a ton of NYADA students are tuning pianos as Kurt enters. "What's going on in here?" Kurt asked. "Carmen Tibideaux needed volunteers for the annual NYADA piano tuning," Rachel shrugged "So, did you hear about Santana's good news?" "That she doesn't have a yeast infection?" Kurt asked. "I'm really happy for her," Rachel said simply as Kurt makes a face. "Okay, what's wrong with you? Because the Rachel I know would be furious at Santana for breezing into town and beating us at booking the first gig," Kurt said to Rachel who just shrugged it off. "You have lost your mojo obsessing over this part. We can't let our feelings of self-worth be determined by some part in a play," Kurt told her seriously. "That's easy for you to say; you just got engaged," Rachel told him seriously. "True, but I'm not pinning all my future happiness on it. I'm telling you, you have got to get your mojo back. Right here, right now. This second," Kurt told Rachel seriously as the two then began to perform The Beatles song 'Get Back'.

As Kurt and Rachel are performing Rachel's confidence seems to be growing more and more. She had been wasting a lot of time worrying about Funny Girl. Part of her was still bitter that Santana beat her in making it ahead of her but maybe that was the point. Maybe Rachel needed to worry less about what others were doing and more about finding her way into the world she wanted to be in so bad, especially considering she had a baby on the way. As Kurt and Rachel finished their performance the NYADA students cheered for them. Rachel stood confidently realizing that maybe, just maybe she still had it after all.

Cut to McKinley High where Tina has been campaigning hard for Prom Queen, almost acting obsessive over it, something Quinn seems to notice. "Tina for Prom Queen. Don't be racist. Vote for Tina. Vote for Tina. Don't be racist. If you don't vote for Tina, you're a racist," Tina announced handing out fliers. "Tina...can I talk to you for a minute?" Quinn asked approaching her, clearly worried by how Tina's acting. "Why, so you can run for Prom Queen?" Tina shot at Quinn who made a face. "You do realize I graduated right?" Quinn said in disbelief as Tina sighed. "Sorry...it's a defense thing," Tina said before putting the posters down as she sat with Quinn. "I get it....I've been there," Quinn admitted as she then took a deep breath "What's gotten into you?" "Excuse me?" Tina asked. "This isn't you. Obsessing over Prom Queen, becoming kind of a diva as of late," Quinn began. "How would you know?" Tina asked as Quinn bit her lip as she flashed back to what Sam had told her happened.

Cut to the choir room where Tina is interrogating many members of the New Directions about their votes, much more harshly than the first time. "You're voting for me right?" Tina asks Sam who shifts uncomfortably in his seat. "I don't know..." he said nervously. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?! THIS IS IMPORTANT SAM!" Tina yelled. "I know but don't scream at me!" Sam exclaimed as we cut back to regular time. "Figures...you're back with Sam," Tina said shaking her head as she got back up. "That's not the point," Quinn said following Tina. "Then what is the point Barbie Doll?" Tina quipped. "The point is you're letting this whole nomination get to you. You feel like you have to campaign hard or else you'll never be noticed," Quinn said as Tina seems surprised that Quinn figured that out. "Yeah well, some of us actually have to scream to get noticed," Tina said upset continuing to hand out fliers. Quinn sighed knowing Tina had constantly felt pushed aside by everyone, something she had started to complain about Quinn's senior year. "I know you feel that way but being Prom Queen isn't going to change anything," Quinn told as Tina laughed. "That's rich coming from you when you were obsessing over it your last two years of high school," Tina shot at Quinn continuing to hand out the fliers. "Fair point. Even when I won it my senior year, it didn't matter. What mattered was that I was graduating and headed off to the school of my dreams. Being Prom Queen didn't hurt but after my accident, it made me realize that it wasn't everything," Quinn said as Tina knew what Quinn meant. "Yeah well I've never had anything go my way. I'm waitlisted at Brown as well as the Columbus School of Veterinary Medicine, so some of us aren't so lucky," Tina shot at Quinn. "Look...I just don't want you to be disappointed if it doesn't work out," Quinn sighed as Tina glared at her. "Oh. So you like everyone else think I will never get Prom Queen? Thanks Quinn...you're a real friend," Tina said sarcastically as she walked off as Quinn shook her head, realizing there was no getting through to Tina.

Cut to the Spotlight Diner where Santana and Rachel are working the graveyard shift together. "Mazel, Berry. Looks like you're gonna make it through your first graveyard shift without collapsing," Santana said as she approached Rachel before noticing a magazine "What is that?" "The latest edition of Backstage. Hot off the presses," Rachel grinned. ""Hot off the presses"? What does that mean?" Santana asked tilting her head. "I'm over my fear of rejection. And I'm no longer afraid of failing. I'm auditioning for everything I'm remotely right for. Including but not limited to the role of Bottom at the Cape Cod Players production of Midsummer, and also Annie Sullivan's landlady in The Miracle Worker now casting at the New Jersey Theater for the Deaf," Rachel grinned as she walked off with her magazine as Santana made a face. "What the hell are you doing?" Santana said. "Excuse me?" Rachel gasped. "You heard me Berry...those roles are awful," Santana said giving Rachel a look. "Well..it's just to start out," Rachel defended. "Oh don't give me that crap...you're scared," Santana said as Rachel scoffed. "I am not!" She exclaimed as Dani then walked over to them. "Well well, if it isn't the world famous Rachel Berry," Dani said as she sat with them. "World famous?" Rachel said confused as she made a face. "Obviously you're a legend," Dani said in a serious voice as Rachel still seemed confused. "She's teasing...obviously," Santana said rolling her eyes as she wrapped an arm around Dani "Rachel, this is my girlfriend Dani, Dani, you know Rachel already." "Oh my God it's so good to finally meet you," Rachel grinned as she hugged Dani. "You too. I wasn't joking about you being famous though. Santana tells these unbelievable stories about you," Dani said honestly. "Really? Like what?" Rachel asked. "Like how you're up for the role of a lifetime on Broadway. That's impressive," Dani said nodding towards Rachel. "Was up for it...they haven't gotten back to me so I don't think it's going to work out," Rachel said honestly. "Don't give up. What stage are you at?" Dani asked. "Well I was doing chemistry reads with their obvious choice for Nick Arnstein, Paolo San Paolo. "Seriously? Dude you seriously have gotten future than I have," Dani said still impressed as Rachel seemed to brighten up somewhat. "Well...thank you," Rachel said more perkily. "Honestly, when it gets closer to casting they take a longer time to choose who they want. Trust me, you're not out of the running. They would've called if you were," Dani said as Rachel seemed somewhat relieved. "What....how would you know that?" Rachel asked. "Because my friend got the lead in Once," Dani said as that seemed to be even more of the confidence booster that Rachel needed. "Thank you.." Rachel said to Dani. "For what?" Dani asked confused. "For not letting me get in my own head about the role," Rachel said. "Always a pleasure," Dani chuckled a bit as Rachel checked the clock. "Oh! It's the end of my shift. I'm so tired..." Rachel sighed as she removed her apron before yawning a bit. "Bye, Rachel. See you tomorrow," Dani smiled a bit. "Good-bye, Dani," Rachel smiled as she then began to leave.

Santana exhaled loudly watching Rachel leave before turning to Dani "Aren't you heading out, too? Your shift is over," Santana said. "No, not yet. I like to watch the sun rise over that building. I just love how the diner goes from being quiet and dark to suddenly just...glowing," Dani smiled as she sat on the stage to watch the sunrise. "I've never seen it," Santana admitted. "Well, stick around. We'll watch it together," Dani smiled biting her lip. "Okay," Santana smiled a bit as Dani started to play her guitar to the tune of The Beatles' 'Here Comes the Sun'.

Santana sits besides Dani as they begin to perform. The two soon finish their shift as the sun has risen. Dani points it out to Santana as they make their way to their apartment. They arrive at their apartment as Dani smiles at Santana. "You're amazing you know that?" Santana smiled back at Dani. "Aww thanks babe," Dani smiled. "Babe?" Santana said surprised. "Yeah...babe. We've been dating for a few months..." Dani began. "I know...this is just...the first time you called me that," Santana smiled somewhat shyly. "Well I can promise you it won't be the last," Dani smiled back as the two shared a sweet kiss before heading into their apartment smiling.

Cut to the prom where everyone is starting to enter having their photos taken. Sam and Quinn are waiting in line. "Did you talk to her?" Sam asked. "I tried....she freaked out on me and called me unsupportive," Quinn sighed as the two posed for their photo before entering. "I'm really worried about her Sam..." Quinn admitted. "I am too. I mean I know Prom Queen is a big deal to most girls but the way Tina's acting...it's too much," Sam sighed as Quinn nodded as they sat together at the table with Blaine who's waiting for Tina, his date. "She's still not here?" Sam asked his eyes widened as Blaine shook his head. "No...It was really awkward I had to take my photo alone...not that Tina and I were going as a couple but still..." Blaine said shaking his head as Sam's eyes were once again wide. "Oh....my....God..." he said as Blaine turned around to see Tina arriving with a bunch of other single girls as they posed for a photo together. Tina quickly pushed her way to the front wanting the attention on her. As their taking their photo Blaine walks over to her. "Tina....what is this?" Blaine asked. "Aww Blainey Days you're here already," Tina grinned. "Yeah...who are all of these girls?" Blaine asked as Tina pulled him in for a photo which Blaine took with her awkwardly. "Their my group of dateless ladies," Tina grinned as Blaine made a face. "But...you have a date," Blaine said confused. "Well yeah...but you're my GBF," Tina said. "Your what?" Blaine asked a face. "Gay Best Friend. It's not an actual date," Tina said matter of factly. "But you have a boyfriend..." Blaine began. "Who's away at the Joffrey Theatre," Tina cut him off as Blaine couldn't argue with that "Look, we can still do the slow dances together but I need the votes." Blaine went to speak again but it was too late, Tina rushed off with the girls. "Stick with me, dateless ladies, and you'll have a great time. Hope I got all your votes," Tina grinned to the girls who all got up onto the dance floor as the music kicked in for the One Direction song 'Best Song Ever' performed by the underclassmen Jake, Marley, Unique, Kitty, and Ryder.

"Maybe it's the way she walked," Ryder sang. "Wow," Unique sang. "Straight into my heart and stole it. Through the doors and past the guards," Ryder sang. "Wow," Unique sang. "Just like she already owned it," Ryder sang. "I said, "can you give it back to me?" She said, "never in your wildest dreams"," Jake sang with Marley who he winked at as she smiled. "And we danced all night to the best song ever. We knew every line, now I can't remember. How it goes but I know that I won't forget her 'cause we danced all night to the best song ever I think it went oh, oh, oh I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah I think it goes," Ryder, Unique, Jake, Marley and Kitty sang. "Ooh," Unique, Marley, and Kitty sang. "You know, I know, you know I'll remember you And I know, you know, I know you'll remember me," Kitty sang looking at Artie. "And you know, I know, you know I'll remember you," Marley sang as the others sang the oohs on the background. "And I know, you know, I hope you'll remember how we danced, how we danced," Marley sang. "One, two, one, two, three," Ryder yelled. "How we danced," Unique sang. "How we danced all night to the best song ever," Ryder, Marley, Jake, and Kitty sang. "We knew every line," Unique sang. "We knew every line, now I can't remember," Ryder, Marley, Jake, and Kitty sang. "How it goes but I know that I won't forget her 'Cause we danced all night," Ryder, Unique, Marley, Jake, and Kitty sang. "We danced, we danced," Unique sang. "To the best song ever," Marley, Jake, and Kitty sang. "It goes something like, yeah," Ryder sang. "And we danced all night to the best song ever. We knew every line, now I can't remember How it goes but I know that I won't forget her 'cause we danced all night to the best song ever I think it went oh, oh, oh I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah I think it goes," Ryder, Jake, Marley, Unique, and Kitty sang. "Ooh," Unique, Marley, and Kitty sang. "Best song ever," Unique sang. "It was the best song ever. It was the best song ever. It was the best song ever," Jake sang as the crowd cheered thrilled by the performance.

Cut to Tina sitting at the table with Blaine, Sam, and Quinn. "Oh, my God, Tina! Your dress is so pretty!" One of the single girls grinned walking over to her. "Thank you so much. It's designer. I hope you guys voted for Tina. You guys look beautiful," Tina smiled acting somewhat more like herself. Meanwhile Bree, was backstage trying to get something set up when Sue notices her and walks over to her. "And what might you think you're doing?" Sue asked narrowing her eyes at Bree who looked like she was just caught.

"Principal Sylvester...I can explain..." Bree said innocently pretending to laugh "It's a really funny story..." Sue kept her eyes narrowed at Bree as she saw what she had set up backstage. It was a bucket of red slushie, to resemble what happened in Carrie. Sue looked back at Bree who looked somewhat nervous. "Please don't expel me...." She began. "Now why would I expel you? I think it's genius," Sue said as Bree looked surprised. "You...you do?" Bree asked stunned. "Please...it's the most exciting thing that's happened at a prom...other than when the school pronounced sweet Porcelain Prom Queen," Sue said as Bree looked confused "You rigged the votes for Other Asian who joined the cheerios didn't you?" Bree nodded as Sue smirked. "Excellent. Maybe this is exactly what I needed to bring the club down once and for all," Sue said with a smirk "A new enemy. Congratulations kid, you just moved up on my favorites list." Bree brightened up. She wasn't in trouble, even more than that she was Sue Sylvester's favorite and that would mean something.

Cut to onstage as the New Directions, who are taking turns performing onstage, are now performing a Beatles song. "Congratulations, New Directions, on accomplishing the impossible: you've made me hate The Beatles," Sue said rolling her eyes as Quinn made a fae. "Your nominations for Prom King are: Stoner Brett, Blaine Anderson, Artie Abrams, and Sam Evans," Sue said as each guy just stood onstage as Sam winked towards Quinn who blew him a kiss. "And now your nominees for Prom Queen: Neck-brace Cheerio, Asian number one, Richie Rich, and... some other chick," Sue said as Jordan waved and Aimee made a face when she didn't announce her name. "And now here's the moment you've all been waiting for because your lives are so devoid of meaning something like this seems very important," Sue said as she looked at the envelope "This can't be right. Okay, what the hell do I care, huh? Your Prom King and Prom Queen are...Stoner Brett and Tina Cohen-Chang." Tina beamed, this was the moment she had wanted. The auditorium was cheering for them, for her. This was everything she wanted. Quinn smiled up at Tina happy for her and glad she was finally getting the attention she wanted and deserved. When the crown was place on Tina's head it felt like magic, like everything was finally in place. Bree, who was in the crowd gave a signal to another cheerio to pull the rope, something Kitty noticed and looked worriedly at Tina. As the slushie began to come down Kitty tried to scream "NOOO!" But it was too late. Tina was covered in slushie as everyone watch in horror. "What the hell?" Brett said finally speaking before the bucket fell down and hit him in the head, knocking him out. Bree started laughing which soon set off a chain of laughter. The only thing Tina could hear in her head besides the laughter was her own voice saying it was her chance to be bigger than Jesus, over and over again. Tina rushed offstage as the New Directions, Will, and Quinn also went after her.

Cut to the choir room where everyone rushes over to Tina who is inconsolable. "We need to get you out of those wet clothes and into something dry," Marley said seriously. "Just leave me like this!" Tina sobbed "I swear, I just thought for one lousy night of my life, I could be that girl. But who am I kidding? I'm not that girl, and I will never be that girl!" Tina began to walk away. "Tina, where are you going?" Sam asked worriedly. "I'm going home, Sam!" Tina exclaimed as she sobbed. "Okay, Tina, stop," Blaine exclaimed as Tina turned back around "You have two choices, and whichever one you pick, we will be supportive. But we can either drive you home, or we can clean you up, and you can go back out there and own that prom. This is your prom, Queen T," Blaine said encouragingly as Tina continued to sob. " I can't go back in there. I don't even have a dress to wear," Tina said emotionally. "You can have mine," Kitty said. "Or mine," Marley offered. "Or mine. Although it would be a crime to break this look," Unique said as she winked. "Or mine," Quinn said seriously as she approached Tina "I've had my turn being prom Queen. This is your night." "Come on, Tina. We're all with you. You want to be that girl? Then go be that girl," Blaine agreed with Quinn also approaching them. Tina continued to sob as Artie offered her a towel. Tina took the towel and started to clean herself off, still sobbing. The New Directions and Quinn began to help cleaning her off as Blaine started off singing The Beatles' 'Hey Jude'.

Marley, Kitty, Unique, and Quinn started to help Tina get fixed up as Blaine continued to sing as Kitty joined in to harmonize. Tina soon walked out in Quinn's dress as Quinn walks out in one of her normal dresses smiling a bit as she walked to Sam who kisses her proud of Quinn. Sam then walks over to Tina as he sings placing the crown back on her head as the two hug. Ryder then handed Tina a fresh bouquet of flowers. The New Directions and Quinn all start to walk back towards the prom together. Bree looked pissed as Tina arrived back at the prom, how did her plan not work. Quinn smirked at Bree as to say 'Don't mess with us' as she continued to walk in with the New Directions. Everyone cheered for Tina who got back onstage. "I'm Tina Cohen-Chang. I accept your crown! Long live prom!" Tina exclaimed as everyone cheered for her. Everyone finished performing as Tina beamed onstage, maybe it was her night to be that girl after all.

Cut to the hallway after Prom as Quinn approaches Sam who is at his locker. "Hey," Quinn smiled. "Hey," Sam smiled back as he kissed her again "I'm really proud of what you did for Tina at the prom last night." "It was the right thing to do," Quinn shrugged. "Totally. Especially since it made things easier for me," Sam joked as Quinn hit him playfully. "Someone has a one track mind," she giggled. "I can't help it when I'm around you," he laughed as they kissed again before he sighed "Are you sure you have to head back?" Quinn nodded "I mean I got extensions on my assignments after Finn's death but...they need me back now." "Well I'm really going to miss you," he said looking into her eyes. "And I'm really going to miss you," She said looking deep into his eyes as Sam then got an idea. "I have a proposition for you," he said. "If it's about another tour of my hotel room forget it. I have to catch a flight in an hour," she giggled. "No! Not that. Although I wouldn't mind," he smirked a bit as Quinn laughed "I meant about college visits...I'm heading to New York for them and I was hoping you could maybe stop by while I was there." Quinn nodded beaming up at him "I'd love nothing more." "Awesome," Sam grinned. "You know...you could also tour Yale while you're up there. New Haven's only a short bus ride away," Quinn said running her fingers up his chest. "You're giving me a lot of reasons to tour there...but I definitely don't have the smarts for Yale," Sam sighed. "Touring the school doesn't mean you're making a commitment. It just means we'll see each other for a little bit longer," Quinn said as Sam nodded. "Yeah...Okay I'll do it," he grinned as they kissed on last time. "Mmm...I hate to do this but I really have to get to the airport," Quinn sighed pulling away. "I know...I have to get to class..." Sam frowned. "Well I'll see you soon," she smiled at him. "Yeah...not soon enough," Sam said as Quinn wheeled her suitcase out of the school as the two waved a final goodbye to each other.

Also in the hallway as Roz is dragging Bree by the hair to Sue's office."Ow! Ow! Ow!" Bree cried out. Sue looked up from her desk as they entered. "Oh, get in this office and sit down!" Roz muttered as she finally let go of Bree's hair as she's seated before Sue. "Ow! Ow!" Bree cried out rubbing her head. "Sue Sylvester, this girl needs to be punished. Now, I'll admit that when the bucket of goo hit the Asian girl in the head, it was hilarious. Then the bucket itself fell and hit the stoner kid in the head, knocked him straight to the ground. Priceless. Top-notch entertainment. But that does not change the fact that this girl right here needs to understand that pulling hilarious, top-notch pranks has consequences. She should be suspended," Roz said seriously to Bree who just rolled her eyes, Sue already knew all about this. "Bree...I'm promoting you to captain of the Cheerios and buying you a Le Car," Sue said as Bree smirked a bit. "What?! What?" Roz exclaimed. "Chocolate Cheerio, oh, that evil glimmer in your eye reminds me of a young Sue Sylvester. You found a brand-new way to go after the glee club, and I want you to keep at it," Sue smirked telling Bree the same thing she had at the Prom which Bree nods to. "I thought you said you wanted the glee club to win nationals," Roz said bewildered. I do, but the glee club needs an enemy. The only time they were any good was when I was hell-bent on destroying them. Plus, I once sang onstage with them in plaid pajamas, and ever since, I don't think they find me quite so scary," Sue said seriously as she then looked down at Bree "I want you to go after the glee club with all you've got. I want it to get weird. I want you to pull something so psychotic that they can't help but start crying when they think about it in the middle of the inevitable Journey song they'll sing to win at nationals after deciding on it at the very last moment." Bree continued to look confused much like she had before. "You got it?" Sue asked as Bree nodded smirking, this was going to be fun for her, especially now that she had the power she wanted being head of the Cheerios. She was going to take the club down one by one, starting with Kitty who was now powerless.

Cut to the spotlight diner as Santana approaches Rachel looking disheartened. "I think I need an agent," Santana said annoyed as she put down a box "I guess those contracts I signed for those commercials said that I waived my right to residuals in exchange for a lifetime supply of Yeast-I-Stat," Santana scoffs "Though I don't know whose toxic vagina would need that much of that stuff. I mean, if you're producing that much yeast, you should probably start a bakery." Kurt then walked out of the kitchen. "Are you ready for me?," Kurt smirked as Rachel gasps. "Sorry. What is Lady Hummel doing here?" Santana asked. "Working. Vogue.com doesn't pay, and I need some seed cash to start my Madonna cover band," Kurt said seriously. "You guys, this is so great. I feel like I'm on Smash, season one," Rachel grinned. "Well, enjoy it while it lasts, because soon you'll be dumping us to play Fanny Brice. Oh, no, that ship has sailed. If I got it, I would have heard by now," Rachel said seriously. "Rachel, be positive!" Kurt exclaimed. "I am positive, okay? My whole life, I've been looking to be a part of something special to feel special, but the truth is, is that I am special, okay? And I don't need producers to tell me that. I'm gonna play this part, and if it's not in this production, then that is their loss," Rachel said seriously as Kurt and Santana looked impressed. "Isn't it amazing how life seems so easy when you just don't give a crap? I mean, look at this. Hummel is getting married, Berry is just full of confidence, and I finally have a girlfriend who I don't have to worry about straying for penis," Santana grinned. "Then let's make a pledge: we stay in this town together for two years, all right? For soaring success or miserable failure. None of us bail until then, okay, no matter what," Kurt said seriously. "Okay. Okay. Pinky swear. Come on. Put those long fingernails in there," Rachel said gesturing to Santana as the three of them pinky sweared as Santana laughed. The three of them made an explosion sound laughing as Gunther approached them. "Someone in booth 14 is looking for the short one. Go," Gunther said gesturing to Rachel who quickly got up. Gunther then noticed the box Santana had. "I take this," Gunther said as he walked off with the box. "Gunther, that's my Yeast-I-St...What the hell?" Santana said shaking her head.

Rachel then approached booth 14 and was surprised to see Rupert sitting there. "Mr. Campion," Rachel smiled someone nervously. "Do you have any whole cakes, Rachel?" Ruper asked. "Just a whole cake?" Rachel asked. "Mm-hmm. I'd like one," Rupert nodded. "Okay," Rachel said as she began to take off. "But I need you to write something on it for me. Can you do that?" Rupert asked as Rachel walked back. "Yeah," Rachel nodded as she went to take note of what he wanted. "Good. I want you to write, mm..."Congratulations, Rachel Berry. You are Fanny Brice."," Rupert said as Rachel covered her mouth in shock. "Are you serious?" Rachel asked as Rupert nodded. "Are you serious?! Really?! Oh, my God! Really?! Thank you so much! Thank you! I got Fanny!" Rachel screamed excitedly. "Oh, my God!" Santana grinned. "Thank you! I got it!" Rachel screamed. "What?" Santana exclaimed. "I got it!" Rachel exclaimed running over to her and Kurt. "She got the part?" Santana said stunned. "I got it! I got it!" Rachel grinned as she hugged Kurt and Santana tightly. "Whoo! Whoo!" Kurt cheered. "Thank you so much! I got it! Yeah! I can't wait to take this off!" Rachel exclaimed, ecstatic that for once this year, things had worked out in her favor and that all her hard work hadn't gone to waste.

Cut to Kurt and Rachel's apartment as the tune to 'Let It Be' by The Beatles begins to play as Rachel starts off the song.

Rachel walks over to Dani, Santana, and Kurt who are all there to help her celebrate getting the role of her dreams. Kurt popped the champagne as Rachel squealed. Santana soon joined in as she sang towards Dani. Santana and Rachel harmonized together as we then cut to the auditorium where the New Directions are also performing 'Let It Be' starting off with Tina who is then joined by Artie. Kitty then joined them onstage as Will watched proud of them. The New Directions all joined in on the performance singing with them. We then cut back to Kurt and Rachel's apartment as Kurt takes over singing. Santana soon joined in harmonizing with Kurt as Dani grooved along to the music. We cut back to the New Directions performance where Artie is on lead. The New Directions finish the song as Will claps for them. The New Directions soon cheered and hugged proud of their performance as well, once again coming together like never before.
