Rex was off hunting.
Now, that there were four people having to go through the winter, they needed four blankets.
Obi-Wan was searching for firewood.
Anakin sat at Ahsokas side.
She was still asleep. But asleep was way better than unconscious.
Her Master still hadn't let her Hand out of his grasp.
He promised her to stay with her and so he'd stay with her.
She stirred slightly, as she started to wake up.
Her eyes opened a bit, but shut again immediately, then fluttered open again.
"Good morning" Anakin greeted her, a relieved smirk on his face.
She needed a moment to progress what was going on around her, then smiled back.
"Mornin SkyGuy" she mumbled, her voice still hoarse and exhausted.
One night of sleep was not enough to heal the damage that the last weeks had done.
But she was awake. She was smiling.
He carefully helped her sit up, afraid of hurting her.
She was hardly able to move her arms a bit, but as he quickly realised, not strong enough to hold herself up just yet.
He rubbed her side, to calm her, as she was already exhausted after sitting up.
She really has been close to death.
Way to close for Anakin liking.
But as long as she would be okay.
Well, he couldn't forget the fear raging on in him, as he ran through the forest, Rex not far behind him, hoping he'd still come in time.
His legs still hurt from it, but at least his little Snips was going to be alright.
The fear hasn't gone away just by then.
He still saw how weak she was, as he slowly made her eat a bit meat, having to hold it in front of her mouth, because she wasn't able to lift her arms up that much.
She leaned against him, her muscles not able to hold her in a sitting position.
It didn't even really looked like there were muscles left.
Of course there were, but she looked so thin. As if only skin and bones would be left on her body.
Her eyelids fluttered a bit, as she still was incredibly tired.
He wrapped a blanket around her, as the cold wind intensified.
They had to watch out that nothing was flying away by then, since the winds were really rough.
Ahsoka looked like she would be easily blown away by the wind as well.
And she shivered hardly, by the cold it brought.
Her fever had went down over the night, yet it still was there.
And she still was pale. So pale, that sleeping, she could be mistaken as a corpse.
Maybe that was the reason Anakin wasn't able to calm down just now.
He held her close, feeding her the meat and just hoping, that they had enough time left till the winter, so that she could recover.
