It had been a month since Tucker died, and Ellie was doing a lot better. She woke up saturday morning to snow. There was at least a foot on snow outside and was no just slightly snowing. She jumped out of bed and ran to her brothers room. Luke and TJ shared a room, Will had his own and Jesse and John shared her ran into Luke's and TJ's.
"LUKE! TJ!" she yelled.
She jumped on Luke's bed.
"Ellie" said Luke rolling over and put a pillow over his ears.
"IT SNOWED!" she yelled.
He rolled over.
"Shhh Ellie, what time is it?" asked Luke.
"I don't know, but who cares it snowed!" said Ellie.
"Go away" said Luke rolling back over and put pillows over his ears.
She ran to TJ and jumped on his bed.
"No Ellie" said TJ.
She huffed and jumped off the bed and ran to Jesse and John's room.
"Jesse! John!" she yelled.
They groaned.
"It snowed!" she yelled.
"Great, because I have never seen it before in my life" said John sarcastically.
"Why are you all party poopers?" asked Ellie.
"Go back to bed" said Jesse.
Ellie got a smirk on her face, ran to her room and got dressed in warm clothes, then ran down stairs.
"Good Morning dear" said Nancy, "Why are you dressed and up so early?"
"Morning mom, it snowed!" said Ellie, "Thats why! and the boys wont wake up"
Nancy smiled.
"Leave them alone, they will wake up soon" said Nancy.
Ellie sighed and grabbed a muffin then ran to the door and got dressed.
"ElizabethJane you need to have an actual breakfest before you go out" said Nancy.
"Mom" complained Ellie.
"No" said Nancy.
Ellie went in got a bowl of cereal and had an orange.
"Now may I go?" asked Ellie.
"Yes, but do not go to the sleding hill till your brothers are with you" said Nancy.
"Mom" she complained again.
"Listen to your mother Ellie" said Edward.
"Yes dad" said Ellie.
She went outside and decided to make snowballs and throw them at her brothers windows. She could only hit Jesse and John's if she was going to stay in the front yard. She started throwing snowballs, missing the window and sometimes hitting it.
"What the hell?" asked Jesse.
"I'm going to kill her" said John getting up and going to the window, he opened it.
Before Ellie saw him, she threw a snowball.
"Hey Ellie cut it out!" yelled John. The snowball then hit him in the face.
Ellie got a straight face, but then laughed a little.
"Your dead" said John pointing at her and closing the window.
Inside Jesse was laughing.
"Shut up" said John.
He started to get dressed.
"What are you doing?" asked Jesse.
"Going to kill our little sister" said John.
Jesse then got up and got dressed.
John ran downstairs.
"Good morning John" said Nancy.
"Morning mom" said John.
"What are you doing?" asked Nancy.
"I'm going to kill Ellie" said John.
"What did she do?" asked Nancy.
"She threw a snowball at my window and then hit me in the face" said John.
"Ok, but if she gets hurt and is crying you are dealing with it" said Nancy walking away.
John headed outside. Ellie hid.
"Ellie!" he yelled
Ellie was silent, she was hiding in a tree. She now realized this was a horrible idea. There was no way she could escape now.
Jesse came out.
"Where is she?" asked Jesse.
"No idea" said John looking around, "Mom said she had to stay in the front yard though."
"TJ, Luke and Will are coming out now" said Jesse.
They started to look around.
Jesse was right under the tree. TJ, Luke, and Will came out. Ellie debated whether getting his attention. She wasn't sure if he was on her side.
"Pzzzz Jesse" said Ellie.
Jesse looked up.
Jesse smiled. He put a finger to her lips.
"Hey John!" yelled Jesse.
Dam it thought Ellie.
"I just saw her ran behind the house" said Jesse.
John ran to back with TJ and Will. Luke knew he was lying.
Luke ran over to him.
Jesse pointed up.
Ellie smiled.
"Come on Ellie" said Jesse.
Ellie slowing climb down, but then stopped.
"You aren't going to hand me over?" asked Ellie.
"No" said Jesse, "We are on your side"
Ellie climbe down enough that Jesse could grab her.
"Now what?" asked Ellie.
"Now we turn you over" said Jesse smiling.
Luke laughed. Ellie ran and screamed. John TJ and Will ran to the front of the house.
Luke grabbed her.
"You all are so mean!" yelled Ellie.
"We are mean? You woke us up" said Luke.
"You dead now" said John.
Luke let her go and she ran, but tripped and fell face first into the snow.
She got up and and wiped the snow from her face then ran. A snow ball hit in the back. She then managed to hide again.
Luke found her.
"Please no" said Ellie putting up her hands. He sat down next to her.
"I promise I am on your side now" said Luke.
"Ya right" said Ellie.
"If I'm not I will pay you five bucks" said Luke.
"Alright" said Ellie.
"Lets go" said Luke, "Stay behind me"
They crept out, then were bombed with snowballs. The fight lasted longer. TJ went on Luke's and Ellie's team.
Ellie then got hit square in the face with a snowball and fell to the ground. John ran over.
"Dam it!" said John.
He wrapped his arms around her.
"Ellie are you alright?" asked John.
Ellie then turned around and smashed snow in his face.
"Now I am!" she said smiling.
They all laughed.
John couldn't help but laugh to.
They then wen to the barn and got sleds and then headed to the hill and started to sled ride.
Ellie rode down on a tube with her brothers, and down on sleds with them, sometimes by themselves. They had fun.
Ellie laid back in the snow and made a snow angel.
"Done?" asked TJ.
"Ya, my face hurts and I'm tired" said Ellie.
"Me to" said TJ he picked her up and carried her back to the house. They all had hot chocolate.
"Well I may have gotten attack, but I did get you guys outside" said Ellie with a smile. They all smiled.
