You smiled hearing the words that all might had just said to your friend but what he said next surprised them even more. "Can anything be more shocking than this? You are worthy to inherit my power." All might said and you looked at him confused.
"Inherit your power?" Izumi asked tears still in her eyes and all might began to laugh "What's with that face? It's just a suggestion. The real show starts after this, Listen, well young lady. You need to decide whether or not you will accept my power!" All might said "Wh-What is All Might saying?" You and midoriya asked yourselves "I'm talking about my power, young lady. The tabloids called it "superhuman strength" and a "boost" and I constantly dodged the question during interviews with a funny joke. Because the Symbol of Peace, All Might, had to be a natural-born hero. But young lady, I will tell you the truth. My Quirk was passed on to me like a sacred torch" all might said and you were surprised to hear this.
"But that's impossible" you thought looking at him "it was passed onto you?" Izumi asked and all might nodded "That's right. And now, it is your turn." All might said pointing at izumi.
"W-Wait! Wait a minute! Summary of what's known about All Might's Quirk It's true that your Quirk is something hotly debated as one of the world's greatest mysteries. So much so that not a day goes by when I don't see someone talking about it online. But, well, I don't really understand what you mean by inheriting or passing on a Quirk" izumi kept mumbling and you couldn't help but sweat drop. "I-is she usually like this?" All might asked you and you nodded.
"Alright stop nerding out, now listen The power to transfer power That is the Quirk I inherited! I was crowned with "One For All!" You looked all might surprised "One For All" izumi repeated "That's right. One person cultivates the power and passes it on to another person, who also cultivates it and passes it on. It is the crystallization of power that spins together the voices of those who need help with a courageous heart." All might said and for the first time in a long time you were interested in this. "Why are you giving me something so great?" Izumi asked "I have been looking for a successor. And then, I thought it would be all right for you to inherit it. You are just a Quirkless hero fangirl but you were more heroic than anyone else back there! Never mind! Well, it's up to you, though." All might said and izumi looked down.
"I cant possibly take it I'm pathetic wouldnt it make more sense to give it to someone more like y/n instead" you were surprised. "What!? No way izumi this is the chance you've been waiting for with this you can finally become a hero you can reach your dreams" you said trying to convince izumi.
"W-w-wait y/n" you turned to all might and saw him "hi Toshinori it's been a while" you said giving him a friendly smile. "My boy it's been far to long" all might said giving you a hug which you welcomed.
Izumi looked completely surprised "umm Toshinori?" She asked and you chuckled "remember that first night I left your house five years back well all might did more then just return me" you said smiling.
"This runt here refused to go back to your house so I convinced him the best way I could we talked and I liked the kid" all might said petting your long hair "he's grown into such a proper young man" all might said and you smiled.
"And from the looks of it he found himself a cute little girlfriend" all might said smiling at you, you blushed slightly "s-shut up it's not like that" you said. "Hehe sure but listen young lady I picked you because I saw potential deep down inside you I of course see it in y/n but he already has a quirk and he is already set in his own path so I'm asking you" all might said "do you want my awesome power" he asked.
"He said so much to encourage me, and even told me his secret Is there? Of course there isn't There's no reason for me to turn him down!" Izumi thought "I'll do it!" She replied and you smiled "An immediate reply. That's what I thought you'd say! But it'll be no easy task to receive this power." All might said and izumi nodded.
All might then looked at you "as for you I will be training you as well your strong and with enough hard work I'll mold you into a proper hero and you'll use that quirk" all might said and you looked at the ground "I already told you toshinori I refuse to use my quirk" you said glaring at him.
All might wasnt fazed so the both of you continued to stare at each other but it didnt take long for all might to break. "Aghhh fine kid you win I wont force you but I'll find a better way for you to use those fighting skills." He said and you nodded.
"Fine ill do anything to help izumi" you said "get ready both of you training begins tomorrow" all might said and you both nodded.
With that you and izumi agreed that you would see all might at some beach in two days in the morning. When the both of you left you reached your home with inko.
She was of course worried sick and scolded the both of us for acting so foolish and reckless. You didn't say anything in the situation because after a bit of scolding inko calmed down and then broke down.
She hugged the both of with tears in her eyes saying she couldnt lose the two of you. Izumi couldn't help but cry seeing her mom so sad.
You only hugged inko trying your best to calm her down and surprisingly it worked and the three of you ate dinner in peace.
*Morning*
"Hey, hey, hey! This is such a comfy fridge to sit on! If you could move it even a little, it would be a little easier." All might yelled in his muscle form. Both you and all might were atop a fridge as you watched poor izumi pull.
You wanted to help her but you knew all might would stop you "Well yeah, I mean, you weigh 274 kilograms, right?" Izumi asked looking at all might "No, I lost weight, so I'm only 255 kilograms now. In this form." All might replied and you sighed.
"Toshinori, why are you having her drag trash at the beach?" You asked "you see young l/n It's 'cause, you and her know, she's not a proper vessel." All might said causing izumi to look at him worried.
"What you're saying now is the opposite of what you said before" izumi said tears forming in her eyes. "I'm talking about your body. My Quirk, One For All, is the fullest physical ability of many people gathered into one. An unprepared body cannot inherit it fully. Your limbs will come off and your body will explode." All might explained causing you and izumi too look at him surprised.
"And you dont think you could have told her that before she said yes!?!" You asked kinda mad "easy young l/n" all might said and you looked at izumi. "My limbs will what? Then I'm picking up trash in order to train my body?" Izumi said and all might nodded.
"Yes! But that's not all. After some research on the internet yesterday, I discovered that part of this beach park's coast has been like this for many years." All might said getting off the fridge and you did the same.
"Yeah For some reason, because of the currents, objects drift here a lot, and people take advantage of that to hide their illegal dumping The local residents don't come near here, either." Izumi said. "Heroes these days are all after the showy stuff. Originally, being a hero meant doing volunteer service. Even if people called that boring or whatever. You can't waver from those roots. You will restore the horizon for this whole section! That is your first step toward becoming a hero! My first step? Clean this All of it?! Young Midoriya, you want to go to U. A. right?" All might asked as he crushed the fridge with one hand and izumi nodded excitedly.
"Yes Yes! Because it's where you went! So if I'm going to go I thought it would definitely have to be U. A." Izumi said and you couldn't help but smiley at how nerdy she was.
"You're a go-getter fangirl! But I've told you this before. It's not something you can do without a Quirk. It's sad, but that is what the reality is. And U. A. 's is the hardest hero course to get into. In other words In the ten months until U. A. 's entrance exam, I have to complete my vessel! That's where this comes in! I came up with this: "Aim to Pass: American Dream Plan"! Daily Schedule (Weekdays) Phase 1 It's a training plan to help you finish cleaning up the beach. Daily Schedule (Weekends) Meal Menu Set Plan I'll have you follow this in every aspect of your life! Even sleep time is included Frankly, this is a super hard schedule. Can you follow it?" All might asked handing izumi the schedule he had planned for her.
You couldn't help but wonder how all might got all this info but you paid no mind and then he looked at you.
"Youn l/n your planning on going to UA right?" All might asked as izumi looked at the paper in her hands.
"Yeah I guess truth be told I've never liked the idea of becoming a hero but since izumi is going I wanna go to make sure she doesn't hurt herself" you said "hehe you care very much for her but you also gotta set up your own path" all might said.
"Doesnt matter anyways U.A. has already read my files on the school I go too and turns out there interested in having me in that school. Why? I dont know compared to people like katsu I'm just a normal guy." You said and all might nodded. "I have a meeting with the principal tomorrow morning" you said.
"That's good news young l/n I wish you luck" all might said giving you a thumbs up.
*Tomorrow*
You took looked at the school in front of you and sighed "here we go" you said walking up to the school.
Before you could take a step the front doors quickly closed "state your business" you head a voice call out. "I'm here to talk to the principal my school got a letter saying they were interested in me" you said waiting for a response. "Name?" They asked and you sighed once more "y/n l/n" you said.
Then the doors opened and revealed some kind of cute little creature "hello y/n I'm principal nezu" the small creature said. You blinked a bit "umm ok then" you said and walked up to him.
"Its a pleasure to finally meet you y/n" nezu said and you smiled "its nice to meet you too sir" you said getting on your knees to reach his level.
"Well let's not keep you waiting young man I've read your files and let me tell you for a boy that never uses his quirk your quite impressive" nezu said and you looked surprised "ummm sir I dont have a qu-" you were then cut off by nezu "young man I know you have a quirk a pretty powerful one at that and from what I've heard i can understand why you dont use it" he said.
The small creature looked at you once again "If your wondering how I know well its because" nezu then pointed behind him and you looked surprised.
"T-toshinori?" You asked seeing all might in his normal form giving you a friendly wave "all might what are you doing here" you asked.
"Hehe I was gonna have it be a surprise for if young midoriya got into U.A. but as long as you keep this a secret I don't see why I shouldn't tell you" all might said "all might here is gonna apart of the U.A. faculty" nezu said and you were surprised.
"Ummm ok then" you felt a bit wierd now knowing toshinori will be a teacher in the school you could be attending. "Trust me when I tell you, you can trust principal nezu here he knows about one for all" you looked at them surprised and then nodded.
"So I'm guessing that toshinori told you about why I look like this" you said and all might nodded. "Young man you have suffered enough but i think that if you get past that i know you will be a great hero" you looked at the ground and sighed.
"What can be done? The past is the past is not? Even if I try to move on I'll still have shackles on me holding me back" you said.
All might nodded "yes the past is the past but y/n I see within you something I don't see in young midoriya" he then grabbed your shoulder.
"Which is why we know you wont be using your quirk so we got these for you instead" nezu then made a hand motion and out of nowhere jumped a man.
The man had all black clothes, a white scarf, and a very tired expression. "So this is the kid?" He asked sounding very tired in the mans hands he had a suitcase with him.
All might and nezu nodded "*sigh* all right kid put this on" he then threw you the suitcase he had and you caught it.
"When you put them on meet us in the back I wanna see just how strong you are" he said and walked off. "You better listen to him because if you get into U.A. he'll be your homeroom teacher" nezu whispered and you looked at him surprised.
"We'll see you in a bit young l/n" all might said as both he and nezu walked away.
You then looked at the thing them man had given you and opened it and your eyes widened. "Woah!!!" You said and yours shined a bit. You began to put it kn and you were surprised on how well it fit.
"This feels so perfect" you said and decided to move around and surprisingly it felt just right you could move perfectly and you felt so free "heh cool" you said and then noticed in the case was a bit more.
You put the two wrist blades on and saw a note "hello y/n this is a gift from U.A. to you we hope to see you in this academy we prepared some weapons that would fit your fighting style since you don't have a quirk" it said and you looked at the blades.
"The blades will come out whenever you need it theres a button that will take the blades out and when you need to retract it " you then looked at the blades once more took a deep breath and they popped out.
"So cool~" you thought smiling and then you retracted them and looked at the school took a deep breath and walked in.
You walked in to be met by the principal, all might, the man from outside, and two other new people you hadn't seen before.
"Ahhh so how's the suit feel" all might asked and you smiled "its perfect" you said and all might nodded. "Should we get this exercise started?" You looked at the woman who had said that and she was wearing something that you couldnt help but blush at.
"Geez that suit doesn't hide anything" you thought but then snapped out of it "yes if the kid is ready" the man from outside said.
They all looked at you and nodded "then let's get this show on the road!!" The man with blonde and ridiculous looking hair said.
You were now standing outside in a field "now y/n here were gonna see just how strong you are even if you dont have a quirk we wanna see the skills you used when you fought that villain four days ago" nezu said and you nodded. You had too fight three U.A teachers, clearly you arent going to win but that doesn't mean your not gonna try.
The three U.A. teachers were present mic, Eraserhead, and midnight. "This fight is gonna show us your strength, morals, and over all how good you are in combat" Eraserhead told you and you nodded
You stretched a bit took a deep breath and smiled looking at the three of them. "Ok both midnight and present mic can easily take me out from afar sobi should worry about taking them both out first" you thought.
Then making up your mind you ran towards midnight first "ohhh me first~?" She then ripped a bit of her clothes on her left arm "hold your breath in" you took a deep and you were about to tackle midnight but you were being held back.
"Not so fast!" You were then lefted in the air by Eraserheads scarf "is this stuff alive!?!" You thought then pushed the button on your blades causing them to come out and you were able to cut your way out of it.
"Now mic!!" Eraserhead yelled "you got it!!" He said a smile on his face he took a deep breath "YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!" He yelled and you couldn't dodge so you quickly covered your ears but it didnt work.
"So loud!!" You yelled clenching your ears, Eraserhead took this as an opportunity to jump up in the air and grab you with his scarf.
He then flipped himself in the air and brought you down too the ground as hard as he could. You could barely keep your eyes open "there barely giving me anytime to think" you thought trying to get up but Eraserhead then held your head down with his foot.
"Pathetic" he said and you grit your teeth "if you were to join this academy you would be nothing but a liability to those around you dont have a quirk your weak" he said and put more force onto your head.
You looked at him "whoever thought it was a good idea to let a quirkless person such as you in this school must be out of there mind, you have great strength and are smart you knew you had to take down midnight and or mic first and yet you were still caught by me" he said and then took your foot of you.
"Do yourself a favor kid dont become a hero you'll just end up getting yourself killed" he said walking away from you.
"*sigh* its ove-" all might was about to call it until nezu stopped him and he smiled "look" he said.
All might looked your way and his eyes widened.
"Yo yo dont you think you were a bit to harsh on him?" Present mic asked "yeah that was little harsh even for you aizawa" midnight agreed. "If he joined this academy he'll only end up getting himself hurt may not seem like it but I'm trying to help him" aizawa said.
"Its not over!!" Aizawa turned around and his eyes widened looking at you.
You were completely covered in a purple flame your one eyes pupils were gone and replaced with a nothing but a purple flame in them.
"I-I thought he was quirkless" present mic said. You were about to take a step to them and attack but before you could.
You clenched your head "no no stop!!" You yelled breathing heavily. The three teachers looked at you surprised "please stop!!!" You yelled once more as you fell to the ground and started to growl.
"I wont use you!! Not you not any of you" you yelled as your body began to shake you.
You burst into flames, then purple electricity began to cover your body, followed by the earth around you starting to rise. "I already told you all, I refuse to use you!!" You yelled.
"Aizawa!!" All might yelled and Aizawa already knew what he had to do as looked at you his eyes shined red.
You then calmed down and your fire went away "I'm sorry" you breathed heavy and then fell to the ground exhausted from the fight between the teachers and your power trying to come out.
"What the heck was that yo!?!" You heard present mic asked and you didnt wanna tell them what had just occurred. "It was his quirk or well quirks" all might said "wait quirks?" Midnight asked.
Nezu nodded "y/n since they saw what you just did you should just tell them about your power" you looked at the ground and sighed.
"I have a quirk named 'elemental control' it's like the name implies I can control any element such as air, fire, earth, and everything else but I never use it which makes it more difficult to control" you said looking at your hand.
"Hmm yeah usually when kids get quirks they use it often but you had no control back there" midnight said "y/n when was the last time you used your quirk?" Aizawa asked.
You looked at the ground not wanting to answer "y/n!!" You flinched a bit then looked at Aizawa.
"Seven years ago" you said surprising everyone except nezu and all might who just looked at you. "What!?!?" The three teachers sounded surprised.
Then aizawa went ahead and scolded you for being so foolish, midnight did about the same but was less harsh, present mic on the other hand was just telling you if he had a quirk as good as yours he would be using it all the time.
"*sigh* all might if I agree that he joins the school can you assure me that he will practice with his quirk and try to get the hang of at least one element before he joins" Aiazawa said and you looked surprised.
All might nodded his head "good it would be a shame to see someone with your talent completely go to waste so I expect good things from you" Aizawa said looking at you.
You nodded "I need to let go of the past if not for me then for izumi she wants to be a hero and I'm gonna be there to help her every step of the way, just one element fire is out of the question so" you thought as the teachers were talking.
Soon the teachers came to an agreement "y/n, if you want join A.U. then you will be doing the entrance exam just like everyone else cause what you showed me today was disappointing, you will be doing the exam to show us how much you have improved in 10 months that is all" Aizawa said and began to walk away.
You sighed and got up "I wont disappoint" you whispered clenching your fist "hope to see you in school little dude" present mic said as he walked away too.
You then looked at midnight and she gave you a friendly smile as well as wink which you couldnt help but blush at. "Ok y/n do you know which power you wanna get a hang off first" all might asked and you nodded.
"Ahh very good I'll leave him to you all might" nezu said and then looked at you "I hope to see you again y/n" nezu said and walked away
You sighed and then looked determined "so which element is it kid?" He asked and you then told him.
"Hmm ok then get ready because in the next ten months I will be putting you and young midoriya through hell and I will mold you and her to the perfect heros" all might said and you couldn't help but gulp in nervousness.
So then just like all might said he put you and izumi through hell he was harder on you for the most part. He would have you stay after izumi got done with her training to have your practice on your quirk.
Even though you hated to use it you still had to learn if not then one day it'll consume you. So you would wake up early in the morning and stay till late at night to practice.
The element you had chose was lightning mainly because it could prove useful in mobility, speed, and strength.
At first you couldn't control it that good you would shock yourself and hurt yourself with the lighting coursing through your veins but luckily in 3 months you began to show improvement.
You could begin to channel the power in your hands be able to release it and control where it went when you shot it. You could also bring down lightning from the sky and control the distance.
You could have be it close, mid, or far. All might smiled seeing this and how the lightning hadn't changed color during this time it remained blue never once turning color.
Mainly cause you were keeping your cool through all these training sessions.
*7 months later*
You were breathing heavily as the lightning around you surrounded your fists "deep breaths young l/n" you heard all might said and you nodded.
Soon the lightning spread across your body and your one good eye glowed blue and you then began to run around in amazing speed as bolt of lightning went all around the beach.
(Think your like grand torino but with lightning)
You kept running around and looked at the training dummies that all might set for you and you hesitated not knowing why but shook it off and attacked.
You punched the first one and made your way to the next kicking it and so on. You the looked at one last dummy and smiled.
You uppercuted the dummy in the air and called down lightning and made it hit the dummy to the ground. You heard clapping and saw all might giving you a smile.
"Not bad y/n I can definitely see some major improvement but remember you still have three more months until the entrance exam and there's always room for improvement so back to it" you nodded your head and got ready for more to come "however i do have a question" all might said and you looked at him "you resisted for seven years on using your quirk and yet you used when you fought aizawa, why?" He asked and you sighed "I'm not sure but the things he said it's like something woke up inside me and I wanted to attack and my powers woke up because of his words and now I realize that if I dont stop being so stubborn then that'll make my powers harder to control later in life and I could cause more harm then good so that why I'll start with lightning and work my way up" you said and all might nodded "you have a long way to go y/n, but that's why I'm here" he said and you nodded and got back to work
Soon the months of hell ended and you had definitely grown a lot more muscle but so did izumi she had grown a bit taller, she definitely had a lot more muscle, and a few things had grown.
You blushed thinking about it but paid it no mind and shook your head today was not only the day of the exam but also izumi inheriting one for all from all might and her path too become a true hero.
You smiled "let's see how this goes.
