Ein's pov.
I see Clara sitting on the bench with her bloody hands intertwine, as her elbow is resting on her knees. Her eyes are bloodshot and there's still some dried tear stains on her cheeks.
I'm at the hospital with the others, apparently they're here too.
Natalie and Garroth has already gone to surgery, they're both still asleep from the sedative. Ash is with Natalie. Travis already sent Katelyn home, Cat is with Garroth, while Dante, Aph and I are here having a conversation, trying to figure out what we'll do next.
" What do you think Clara's doing? " Aphmau asked.
I look up and see Tyler sitting next to Clara with a soaked rag. She wipes the blood off her hands and when she was done, she leans against Tyler's shoulder.
" It's Y/n's sister, of course she was going after Y/n, what else? " Dante asked.
" We need a plan to save Y/n and Landon " I said.
" Everytime with you and Y/n " Dante groans and walk away.
" He's a dick but, don't worry, I'll deal with him later " Aph said.
" You can't deal with anything "

" A stupid potato that is! " She sass and walk away.
I shrug to myself and look down to my bandaged hand, the cut wasn't that deep so they just bandage it. They stitched my head though.
I sighed and enter the room to Natalie and Ash.
Seeing Ash holding Natalie's hand as he lies his head on the palm of his hand and his elbow on the bed.
I shut the door and sit down next to him.
" They said it could've been fatal "
" She could've died " he said.
I look up at Natalie and I see her eyes are slowly opening.
" Hey " I tap on his shoulder.
He looks up and immediately grips her wrist.
" Ash " she calls.
" Yeah? " Ash asked.
I see her eyes has tears gathering.
" Why can't I. . . .feel my legs? " Her voice cracked.
" The shelf fell on you and cracked your spine on your waist " Ash said.
" Cause you to be paralyzed on the lower half of your body " I said.
" Is it permanent? " She asked.
" So far " Ash said.
She then started weeping.
" It's okay, you'll be fine " Ash said.
" I'm not " she cries.
I sighed.
Y/n's pov.
I'm loosing too many blood, my shoulder hurts every time I move.
" Stop, squirming, you'll make it worse " Landon said.
He's leaning against the wall with his eyes shut. I'm in the corner of this cell, against the bars, blood dripping down from my shoulder to my arm and hand. My hand is dip in blood on the floor right now.
" I rather die " I said.
" I know your suicidal but you can't be that desperate to die " he said.
" Ask my suicide attempt two years ago " I said.
He opens his eyes and look at me in between the bars.
" It was a Kar98K, my bone is cracked, it's been fours hours since I got shot, in another few more hours or so, by the time the others arrived, I'll be dead, so wanna leave a message for mom and dad? " I asked.
" I'm old, I'll be seeing them sooner or later " he said.
" I can help you if you want " I said.
He looked at me with no expression.
" I'm not taking that back " I said.
I hiss when a sharp pain was on my shoulder. I take a deep breath and the door opens.
Carter.
" Sorry for the long wait, the meeting was longer than I expected " he said.
" I wish it was longer, then I'll be dead " I said.
" Since your wound is severe, you need water " he opens the door and toss the water bottle it hit my shoulder, I yelp.
I grab the water bottle and open the cap, before I drink it, there was a sour smell. I look up at him.
Don't drink it
Graham's voice rings in my ear.
" You poisoned it " I said.
I see two men's enter Landon's cell, they both grab him and drag him here. They made him kneel down.
" Drink " he said.
I put down the bottle. He walks to me and kneel down.
" I'm not gonna drink that " I said.
He smirks and I look at the guy starting to punch Landon.
" You can kill him, I don't care " I said.
" Are you sure? " He asked and I see Landon starting to bleed on his eye.
I continue watch when I just can't take it.
" Okay stop it " I said.
He keeps going.
" Stop! " I shout when tears gathering my eyes.
He stops.
" Thought so " Carter picks up the bottle and put it near my mouth.
" You do know you still haven't got the last piece " I grab the bottle.
" It was easy to find " he takes out a small piece of chip.
" Then why want me dead? " I asked.
" The poison will kill you in 48 hours so it'll be a slow, painful death " he said.
Landon's groaning in pain. I took a sip of the water and cough.
" All of it " he said as he holds the bottle.
He begin to tilt the bottle and I held his hand to stop but her kept going. Push his hand away as the bottle drop spilling everywhere and I cough spitting out some of them.
" Your useless " he smack me on the cheek and exit the cell and out the door.
I wipe my lips as he exit the room along with the two guys, they locked the door before they do, I spit out some that was in my mouth and I gagged from the taste. I grip the bars tightly when I felt sharp pains on my throat. Trying to inhale the air but it hurts my throat every time I do, I collapse as I lie down on the ground and try to endure the pain.
" Y/n " Landon said.
I hear his footsteps and I felt a hand on my forehead.
" No " He said.
" The pain gets worse when I breathe " I hold my neck.
" That will pass in 30 minutes and it'll hurt like hell " he said.
" How do you know this? " I asked and coughed.
" Once the fever sets in, you'll start to get chest pains, headaches, nosebleeds, fatigue, hallucinations, you'll cough up blood a few times and next, you will die " he grabs my jacket and place it under my head.
I grip his arm.
" Is this the same poison mom died from? " I winced, he nodded.
" The wound on your shoulder is bad which decreases the time you'll have "
" Meaning? " I grunted.
" Meaning you only have 44 hours, it's 4 pm right now you'll die at 12 o'clock in the afternoon "
~ Time Skip ~
Ein's pov.
" It's been 12 hours, we need a plan " Ash said.
" Carter is already one step ahead of us, by the time we get there Landon and Y/n is already dead " Mariko said.
" Don't say that " I said as my fingernail is lightly tapping on the glass table with my leg moving up and down under the table.
" Stop that " Tadashi said.
" He can't help it " Dante said.
" Why? " Sasuke asked.
" Thought you guys would noticed it " Dante said.
" Shut up " Cat said.
" He loves the girl- "
I stood up and pin him against the wall, gripping his collar jacket.
" For once in your life!, Would you just shut up and be a good guy! " I yell.
" Ein " Cat pulls me away, I let go and step back.
" We need the element of surprise, a more unique plan " Cat said.
I turn around and cool down.
" Shouldn't the Shadow Knight's be involved? " Travis asked.
" He is right, they are one of Y/n's closes friend, they know her better than us and Carter's tricks " Mitsunari said.
" There's eight of them " Kaneki said.
" Six, Peter and Coraline is at Coraline's home countryside, she's pregnant and Carter would've killed the baby so they both left with an excuse of Coraline taking acre of her grandmother and Peter taking care of Coraline while their sister is gone " Mariko said.
" How did you know? " Cat asked.
" I have habits on my own, a really. . . . .uncomfortable one " she smiles.
" Mariko " Mitsunari said.
" That's my signal " she stood up and walk behind Kaneki who is standing by the corner.
She stood there biting her thumb nail with her other arm hugging her own stomach.
" We're wasting time " I said.
" Your desperate for her " Dante said.
I clench my hands into a fist.
" Can you please shut your damn mouth " Cat gritted his teeth.
" Jae's silent " Tadashi said in a bitchy tone.
I turn to the end of the room to see Jae standing there staring at he floor.
" What do you got? " I caught his attention.
" You won't like it "
