" We still have 15 minutes left until dad arrives " Marsh said.
" Just shut and pay attention to him " I said as I look at the man with dark brown hair and light blue eyes in cuffs.
" Why don't one of you come here and interrogate me yourselves? " He asked.
Marsh switch the mic on by hitting the button with the heel of his shoes, cause his legs are on the table.
" You can go fuck yourself, oh wait you can't " He said and move his foot away.
I smack his head.
" Ow! " he whines.
" You would've said the same thing " he said.
" I don't say those things " I said.
" Yes you do " he said.
" Just shut up " Jeremy said.
I forgot he existed.
He's leaning against the wall while I'm sitting on a stool and Marsh beside me leaning against a chair with his legs up on the table.
" Your gonna damage it " I push his legs off.
Minutes pass and my phone rang, I take it out, it's Jae.
My finger press the button thinking should I slide it to answer or decline.
" Answer it " Marsh said in annoyance.

I put my phone on silence and put it back in my back pocket.
" Who was it? " Jeremy asked.
" It was just some, scam number " I said.
" You get that really often " he said.
" I don't know why " I said.
" Ten more minutes " Marsh said in annoyance.
" Your so impatient " Jeremy said.
" Father has a meeting with all the agency leader's for an hour, he has tight schedule today, in ten minutes he'll finish his meeting, it take him six minutes to get in his car, another ten minutes to drive here, parking is four minutes, entering this building is 56 seconds, when he gets on the elevator it'll take two minutes, the elevator moves for three seconds, walking down the hallway is 43 seconds, entering this room is two seconds " I said.
They both look at me with a blank face.
" What? " I asked.
" How do you know this? " Jeremy asked.
" He basically asked me to pay attention to everywhere I go with him since I was 17 and I did " I said.
" The girl rambles a lot " Graham said.
" Damn it " Marsh sits up and press the button switching off the mic.
" We got six more minutes " Marsh said, I shrug.
Sitting there in silence, I watch him and notice his hands are messing with the handcuffs. I stood up and unlock the door.
" What are you doing? " Marsh asked.
I enter and see he has a pin in his hand, I punch him and grab the pin. I turn back around and tighten the cuffs.
" You have keen eyes " he said as he lick his bleeding lips.
" It's call paying attention " I said and exit the room, I lock the door and throw the pin at the table.
" I don't think that's what it's call- " I throw the pin at Marsh.
" Ow! " It hit his arm.
" That could've stabbed my eye! " He whines.
" I aimed it at your arm " I said and pick it up.
" What if it hit my eye? " He asked.
" If " Jeremy quoted.
The door then opens.
We three stood up and I turn around with Marsh.
" Dad " Marsh said.
" Has he made any moves? " He asked.
" He tried to open the cuff " I show him the pin.
He takes it and turn to the clear window glass. He unlocks the door and enter as he shuts it.
" Lock the door " I hear him said, I lock the door and sit back down on the stool.
" It's been a while, my friend " Graham chuckles.
" See, he can laugh even though nothing's funny, unlike you " Marsh turns to me.
" Shut up "
~ Time Skip ~
I sigh and got off my stool and push Marsh off his chair.
" Shi- "
I sit down and lean back as I sigh.
" What is up with people pushing me off the chair? " Marsh asked as he stood up and sit down on the stool.
" My back is tired " I said and continue to hear Father's conversation with Graham.
" My legs are tired " Jeremy said.
" Oh don't you- " Jeremy pushes him off and sit down on the stool.
" Fuck you " Marsh stood up, leaning against the wall, crossing his arms.
So far the conversation is about father trying to convince Graham to work with him, they both been giving hints to each other and that's all I can understand. It's been 45 minutes, Graham is disagreeing.
" No " Graham said, father sighed.
" Fine, we'll try again tomorrow, I have other matters to attend to " father said,
He gets up and so did I, I unlock the door and open it, he walks pass me as I made eye contact with Graham and I look away immediately. I close the door half way when he spoke.
" Your mother was a wonderful woman " he gives me a small smile.
I look up at him and my hand grips the door handle.
" Shut the door " father said, I look up at him and nodded as I continue to close the door.
I lock the door and father place his hand on my shoulder.
" All his words, are lies " he pat my shoulder twice and walk away.
I hear the door open and close as I turn to Marsh and Jeremy, they both look at me with awkward expression.
" I gotta go. . . .do something else " I said and exit the room.
I close the door and walk down the hallway, I pass father's office and head to my office. I enter and walk to my desk, I take out my phone and see a lot of missed calls from Jae. I sighed.
" Have you been doing what I've told you to do? " I turn around to see father.
" Yes, but Dante and Jae is still not believing, what I've told them " I said.
" Have they told you anything about a plan or. . . .? " He asked.
I can't tell him, we have to stick with the plan.
" No, so far, they've been trying to get everything out of me " I said.
" What did they asked? " He asked.
" Why I am a Shadow Knight and not a Divine "
" What else? "
" You told me not to mention it anymore "
" Say it "
" They asked about why, I killed dad " He nodded.
" They're digging for answers, Landon's not giving up " he said.
" He and dad are brother- " I shut myself when he gave me a glare.
" Sorry " I look away.
He then place his hand on my cheek, I flinched.
" You've done well " He hook my chin up.
" Whatever your doing to Ein, keep doing it " He let go and exits my office.
I sighed in relief and lean back as my waist hit the edge of my desk, I palm my face and run my fingers through my hair, I took a deep breath and exhale. I realize I'm still holding my phone, I turn my phone and see the screen.
Jae's not giving up.
I shut off my phone and the screen went black. I grab my stuff and put them in my bag, I hang my bag over my shoulder and look down. I'm wearing Ein's jacket again. I grip the collar.
Ein's the first person for me to keep a person's belongings.
I smile.
It's 4 am in the morning.
