STAR'S POV
Ever just watch someone and think that everything they do is so fucking cute?
Even aggressively and hurriedly shoving their things in a bag looks so cute, you just want to leave kisses all over their face.
It's crazy.
"Someone's eager" I say with a small smile as I watch Logan hurriedly shove her things into her bag like the police would come in at anytime to take her away for some crime
"I'm tired of this fucking hospital, I need to get the fuck out of this prison of germs and sickness" she says turning to me after zipping up the small bag and I can't help the laugh that leaves my mouth
"Prison of germs and sickness?"
"But it is. Everyone's sick and everyone is carrying germs" she says and I nod
"Alright alright, we can go home in a couple minutes, don't worry" I say
"And for that, I will forever be grateful. It was three days of hell here" she says, putting her hair up in a bun and I chuckle at her dramatics
"Yup, three days of hell. How ever did you survive my love?" I say and she glares at my use of sarcasm
"You're annoying but that's okay, cause I'm happy today" she says
"Cause you get to go home?"
Yes and because I'm okay now and I can kiss you again without worrying about getting you sick" she says with a huge smile and I can't help the laughter that leaves my lips
"You're crazy" I say and she rolls her eyes
"Whatever" she says and even the facade of annoyance she puts up doesn't prevent her from leaving a chaste kiss to my lips
See? Cute.
"Ready to go?" I ask and she nods
"Yup" she says going to pick up the bag from the bed and I nod before making my way out the room with her
"Star?" She calls as we walk side by side down the hall
"Hm?"
"Thank you" she says quietly and I raise a brow "For taking care of me and for liking me that much" she says and I say nothing as I move from beside her so I'm now standing in front of her
"And thank you for liking me" I say with a smile before pressing my lips against hers

A few days later🌸
"So are you guys dating now?" Kester asks immediately I join him on the couch
"Well you're not beating around the bush" I say and he rolls his eyes
"When have I ever beat around the bush with you?" He asks
"True true" I say with a chuckle "Can I at least offer you a beverage?" I ask
"Just some water would be fine" he says and I nod, getting up and heading to the kitchen and returning with a bottle of water which I hand to him
"Thanks"
"Not a problem" I say, settling back on the couch
"So are you guys dating now?" He asks again and I shake my head no
"We're still feeling things out I guess. We still have to talk about things but for now, we're just seeing how it goes and making each other happy" I say
"Is this also how she feels?" He asks
"I mean I think so, yeah. Why?"
"I'm just asking to know that you're safe. I don't want you to get led on or stringed along if it's not going to result to anything you want" he says
"I mean I know we like each other, that's a good step right?" I ask
"I suppose it is. You should talk to her about it though, don't just assume" he says and I nod
"Yeah"
Leave it to Kester to take me out of my fantasy.
