Driving, Ivory was annoyed that she had to leave so early. In their silence, they both had so many questions for each other.
"Ivory..."
"Jay..." they said at the same time but stopped.
Jay couldn't help but stare at the jade bracelet on her wrist. "So you and Hyunwoo..."
"Yes I'm friends with your nephew?"
"Yeah. Lena is my Noona. I miss her alot. She always keep me level headed and told me to go after my dream."
Ivory pointed out ,"My mother went to school with Lena."
"Its a small world. To bad I couldn't see Chung. Last time I saw him he was a baby."
Ivory hesitated. It isn't her place to say anything but It still hurt.
Arriving home, they change into comfortable clothes then walks to the nearest pojangmacha (street food). Sitting down they order pork belly and soju.
jay poured ivorys drink, "I'm sorry we left early. I just felt so stuffed then seeing you and Hyunwoo together."
ivory teases, "Oh is someone jealous?" Jay just downs his shot Ignoring her question.
"What do I have to be jealous of?" Ivory takes her shot and smiles.
"Because he was my first kiss. And if this wasn't happening we might be dating." She said pointing her finger at the both of them.
Jay had the realization that if he didn't make the agreement with Ivory, She would be living a more peaceful year.
"But I'm thankful for you. You saved my family. I got to go to places that I would have never gone too. And I get to know how amazing you are." Ivory finished up the pork belly. Jay just stared at her in amazement.
Ivory calls for more food. "More pork belly and a bottle of soju!" She turns back to Jay, catching him stare.
"What?"Ivory said confused
"Nothing." He shakes his head and goes back to eating.
Ivory smiles, "Are you ready for this big wedding?"
"The maid of honor and best man. It couldn't have been planned better." They smile knowing it's true.
Continuing to eat and drink, Jay gets a late night call from Eun Jung. He ignores the call till she called 4 more times. Thinking it was an emergency, he goes outside the tent.
"Hello."
"Hi is this Eun Jungs boyfriend? She's drunk and wont leave till you come and get her."
"Where are you located?" Jay gets the address and puts it in his phone. He goes back inside to see a smiling, dancing Ivory with food in her mouth.
He wanted to spend more time with her but Eun Jung needed him.
"Ivory, I have to go get my friend. Can you get back home?"
Ivory nods very silly like. "Of course. I'll see you later."
Jay takes a cab to the bar and asked the cab to wait for him. Going inside Eun Jung is yelling at the bartender for more drinks.
Jay stops her. "Eun Jung." She smiles from ear to ear.
"Honey!" She tries to hug him but ends up falling into his arms. He get her to stand up and apologizes on her behave. He get back to the cab and gives the driver, her best friend address so she can take care of Eun Jung.
Getting into another cab, he heads back home.
Ivory was kinda tipsy the whole time walking home. She luckily made it with no trouble. Once in the house she started to get really warm. Only thinking of one solution, she starts to strip on her way up the stairs.
Jay arrives home tired and frustrated. Coming in through the side door he went to the refrigerator to get some water. While drinking it, he sees a naked Ivory walking through the livingroom and back up the stairs. He was shocked for a moment but then went and followed her.
"Uh Ivory?" She turns to him with glossed over eyes. "Ohhh Mr Park is back." Giggling she walks down the stairs to him. He quickly takes off his shirt and slides it on her the moment she got close to him.
She lets him put it on her then moves back tugging on the end of the shirt. She huffs and starts pouting.
"Uhh I'm too hot! Why did you out this on me?"
"Cause you were naked."
She giggles, "That's just my skin silly."
"How much did you drink?" She hold up 3 fingers.
"Three bottles? Damn you are silly when drunk. Come here." He turns away from her and bends down for her to get on his back.
"Piggy back ride!!" She hops on, putting all her weight into it. Jay smiles at this silly girl. Going up the stairs to her room, he opens the door and walks over to her bed. She gets down and crawls to her pillow.
"Come on. Lay down."
"I don't wanna."
"How about I stay here till you're asleep." She quickly nodded and patted the side next to her. Jay laid down next to her until she fell asleep. Every time he thought about leaving, his body wouldn't move until he went to sleep right next to her.
Around 7am Jay is awoken by a screaming Ivory.
"What are you doing in my bed?" Ivory sat up and looked down at Jay who was trying to cover his face with the pillow.
"Shuuuuu! Just got back to sleep."
She felt her breast and butt freaking out, "Where is my underwear?" He pulls her back down to him and cuddles her.
"I'll explain later. Can we please go to sleep?" Ivory was nervous at how close they were but loves his warmth. She fell back to sleep, nested in his arms.
Ivory POV
I try to stay asleep but I keep hearing yelling. I open my eyes to see that Jay isn't next to me. I get out of bed and go outside of my room. The closer to the stairs I get, the more i hear Jay arguing with a female. I slowly go down a couple of steps and peak my head down to see Eun Jung waving her hands around Jay.
"REALLY?! Who leaves me in a cab?"
"You were fine. Who gets drunk enough to where they can barley move? Talk about irresponsible."
'Wow they sound like an old married couple' I thought to myself.
"Why can't you just be there for me when I need you?" Eun Jung whined
"Because you are not whats most important in my life right now."
Eun Jung seemed offended, "Oh you mean that baby that youre playing with? Its not going to last. Why care so much?'
Jay snapped back, "Why do you care so much? You keep bringing her up."
"Because she has something that is mine." The moment she said that she looked dead at me. "Did you think I didn't know that shes been living here? Get rid of her or I will start fighting back."
I could tell Jay was over them auguring, "What don't you get about a break up?"
She pointed out, "I broke us up and now I'm getting us back together. Should I call your mother?" Jay looks like stream is coming out of his ears.
"Please do! Call her. I want her to meet Ivory." I shook my head hard as hell and ran back up the stairs. a mintue later I get a knock on my door.
He cames in looking exhausted.
"No." Was the first thing I said.
"What? Ivory please."
"I don't want to be shown that you are over your ex."
"Well to bad, that's why your here, now get dressed." he coldly said to me then slams my door.
I slowly stand and go to my bathroom with my heart hurting.
I come down the stairs to Jay on his phone ignoring Eun Jung.
Eun Jung looked at me in disgust. "So this is your big plan?" Jay continues ignoring her as he walks up to me with a small black box in his hand. He opens it and inside is a diamond ring.
"Put this on." He states coldly
I just stare at it like its crazy.
"Ivory."
I angryly whisper, "If you want to fake this, at least put it on me." Taking it out, he places the ring on my finger then walks to the door.
"Come on ladies." Eun Jung followed us out and gets into her car.
The whole time I was itching to yell at him. Cold hearted bastard. I hate how different he acts around her.
"I'm sorry." That shocked me.
"Whatever." Acting coldly towards him.
"Just bare with it for a little bit."
"Just to prove a point? You really do care about her."
Jay pauses for a moment. "Do you know what its like to have someone leave you without any words. Thinking for so many years that you were the problem. Having your world crash all around you." The pain in his voice said it all.
"No but-" I suddenly feel my phone buzz. Seeing that its Gina, I answer it.
"Gi-..."
"Ivory! Gurl I need your help! Now! Please!"
"Yeah whats going on?"
"I don't have the flowers yet. Then my mother doesn't want to come. Uhh I feel like I won't be able to fit in my dress. Ivory I'm freaking out."
"Okay Gina, Breathe. okay breathe and calm down. Now where is Simon?"
"He's working and I don't want to stress him out." I shake my head.
"Okay, I'm on my way there." I say as Jay looks at me.
"Yes! Thank you Ivory. You are the best." She hangs up and I stare at my phone.
"Can you drop me off at Ginas."
"Can't it wait."
"No, Just drop me off and tell your mother yourself." I said coldly back.
"Fine." He makes a sharp u-turn and we drove in silence.
