(Sesshomaru POV)
"Lord Sesshomaru?" I heard Hychi's voice, and stood to go outside.
"Hychi. Kiyoshi." I mumbled.
"How's Jade, or Nayumi?" he asked.
"Neither have woken up." I replied.
"Oh." he sounded sad. I turned, and headed back to the hut.
"Hychi! So nice to see ye again!" Lady Kaede greeted him
"It's nice to see you too!" Hychi smiled at her, "This is Kiyoshi. He's traveling with us now."
"Hello." Kiyoshi smiled.
"It's nice to meet ye." Lady Kaede smiled.
"How's Jade?" I asked.
"Her body is healing well. I can't tell you when she'll wake up though. That's completely up to her." Lady Kaede replied.
"I see." I nodded.
"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin's voice made my ears perk up.
"Rin." I nodded.
"Is Jade-chan going to be okay?" she asked; looking up at me with a smile.
"She'll be fine." I replied; placing my hand on her head.
"I hope so." she whispered.
Everyone looked down when Jade's body started to stir.
(Jade POV)
Can you wake up now?" Nayumi asked.
"No." I sighed; my head was starting to throb.
"Rin!" Nayumi exclaimed; bolting to her feet.
"Huh? How can you tell?" I asked.
"I always know when Rin is around." she replied.
"Go see her." I smiled.
"What?" Nayumi asked.
"I'm having no luck waking up. See if you can." I pushed.
"No." she said; her voice turning cold.
"What! Why not?" I exclaimed.
"I don't belong in that world anymore! Rin seeing me would just make it harder on her!" Nayumi snapped.
"Or it'll make it easier!" I yelled.
"No!" she yelled back.
"How about a bet?" I said; narrowing my eyes.
"No." she shrugged.
"Fight me! If I win, then you go see your sister, and if you win, then you can do whatever." I said; ignoring her previous statement.
"You won't win, and I already said no." she retorted; crossing her arms, and looking away from me.
"Don't ignore me!" I snapped; punching her in the jaw.
"Neither of us are in any shape to be fighting!" she hissed.
"I feel fine." I smiled; lunging at her again.
"Then wake up." she snapped; catching me, and putting me in a headlock.
"I'm not 100%, but I'm good enough to fight." I said; elbowing her in the ribs, but it didn't faze her.
"I fought Enma. You're like swatting a fly." she sneared; throwing me to the ground.
"GO SEE YOUR SISTER!" I yelled; slamming my palm into her chest the same way she did me after the fight with Lady Mother.
(Nayumi POV)
"Damn you!" I cursed; rolling onto my knees and elbows as I clutched my chest.
"Which one is it? I didn't see their eyes." Hychi asked.
"It's me you flee infested canine!" I snapped.
"Hi Nayumi!" Hychi beamed.
"Nayumi..." Rin whispered. I couldn't look at her face. I ran out of the hut before she could move into my line of vision.
I won't be able to leave if I see her. I thought at I ran.
"Sister!" she yelled after me, but I didn't stop.
"You're in no shape to be running." Sesshomaru said as I ran into him.
"Move, dog!" I growled.
"You're going to make Rin cry if you keep this up." he snapped.
"Rin." my voice broke as I collapsed to the ground; tears running down my face. I felt Sesshomaru step away from me, and then I felt Rin's tiny arms wrap around me.
She's gotten bigger. I smiled at the thought as I hugged her back.
"I missed you, sister." she whispered in my ear.
"I missed you too." I said; my voice cracking a few times.
"I can't stick around. I just came to see you. Jade needs to come back now." I said after a few minutes.
"I understand. Just come visit again?" Rin asked.
"I will. Even if I tried to refuse, Jade wouldn't let me." I said with a soft laugh. "Don't let this body hit the ground, dog." I said before closing my eyes.
(Sesshomaru POV)
I watched as Rin and Nayumi huggged. I smiled slightly, but that smile fell when Nayumi said she had to go.
"Don't let this body hit the ground, dog." Nayumi said, then their body started to fall. I caught it with ease, and carried it back to the hut.
"Why are you always warm?" as she said it, Jade's scent hit my nose.
"Demons don't get cold." I muttered; setting her down.
"Humans do. Can I get a blanket?" she asked; I could see her shivering.
"Here." I took my robe off, and laid it over her.
"Thanks." she said; finally opening her eyes.
Two different people. I thought.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked; narrowing her eyes at me.
"Hn-" I went still. Enma's scent drifted in on the wind, and I let out a growl.
"What it is?!" Jade exclaimed; coming to stand next to me. "Enma." she growled when his prescense was close enough for her to feel it.
"Did someone say my name?" I managed to get Jade behind me before he appeared in the room.
"Nayumi won. Why are you here?" I growled.
"I stayed away for a week, so-"
"YOU IDIOT! NAYUMI AND I HAVE BEEN PASSED OUT FOR A WEEK! I JUST WOKE UP YOU SON OF A BITC-" I don't know why Jade stopped, but I couldn't worry about that.
"What a mouth this one has. I think she's even worse than Nayumi." Enma laughed; appearing behind Jade.
"Whos' worse than me?" a cocky voice floated from Jade's mouth.
(Nayumi POV)
Jade! You're not ready! Move over! I demanded.
You don't have to tell me twice! Jade said; stopping her screaming, and moving over.
"Who's worse than me?" I asked.
"Nayumi! I was hoping you would make an appearance again!" Enma cheered; he was behind me now.
"What do you want?" I spit; shoving Sesshomaru back as I backed up.
"Sit down, and be quiet." Sesshomaru ordered; pushing me behind him.
"What do you think you're doing, dog?" I snapped; but winced in pain.
"You're not ready to fight yet." Sesshomaru's voice was cold, and his stance was deadly.
"I'll be your opponent, Nayumi." Sakura's voice rang behind me.
"I'll gladly take you up on that." I said; turning around, and punching her in the jaw.
You want a go at her? I asked Jade.
Depends. Are you planning on killing her? Jade asked; amusment in her voice.
Of course. I replied; a smile crossing my lips.
Go for it. She was your enemy first. Jade said with a laugh.
"You wench!" Sakura lunged at me, but I side stepped. She ended up hitting Enma right as Sesshomaru was about to.
"You're useless!" Enma growled; throwing Sakura to the side.
"I remember you had issues fighting her as well!" Sakura snapped; getting up and facing me.
"Whatever. Just do the spell." he growled.
"I won't let you!" I yelled; tackling Sakura before she could do anything.
"You're too late." she laughed. Everyone, expect her, Enma, and I, stopped moving.
"What did you do?" I growled.
"I stopped time." she smiled.
"Not possible." I snarled, and punched her ribs.
"Oh, but it is." Enma said; picking me up by the back of my shirt, and throwing me across the room. I hit the wall, but still managed to land on my feet.
Shit! That hurt like a bitch! I cursed; holding my ribs.
"You're coming with us, and to make sure Jade doesn't interrupt." a sick smile spread across his face.
"Hold her still." Sakura laughed. Enma appeared behind me, and pinned my arms back.
"This is going to hurt." Sakura smiled. In here hand was a piece of black jewel.
"No!" I screamed, but it was too late. Sakura slammed her hand into my stomach, along with the jewel, and everything went black.
"I told you before I did the spell, that the jewel would only hold back Jade's spirit! It won't control Nayumi!" Sakura hissed in a hushed tone.
"And I told you to figure out how to make it happen!" Enma yelled/whispered back.
"I can't control the Necklace of Death!" she growled.
"If she manages to escape, then she'll take the only jewel piece we have!" he growled back.
I had heard enough, so I started to sit up.
"About time you woke up." Sakura sneared.
"What the hell did you do to me!" I growled; acting as if I didn't know.
"I think she's mad at use, Enma." Sakura laughed.
"My proposal still stands. I bring back you family, give Jade her own body, and all I want in return in your help." Enma said; ignoring Sakiura.
"You said you would explain things more if I came with you, so explain." I snapped.
"Very well." he smiled. "I need your help controlling the Four Weapons of Destruction. You have the Kamakaze power inside, and your powerful enough to manage even without."
"What's the cost of raising my family?" I asked.
"Nothing. I will be able to do it easily once we have the Necklace of Death. That is why I had Sakura implant the jewel in your body. Now, you can see the other pieces when you're near them." he explained.
"What about Jade's body?" I added.
"That's more difficult, but she would be given a clay body. Like Lady Kikyo had, except mine would be much stronger." he answered.
"And extracting her soul?"
"Not a problem! You're soul broke in half when you died, so when it was reborn part of stayed as you. Extracting the other half will be a piece of cake." Enma smiled.
I don't like this, but I need to get Jade somewhere safe! I thought.
"Fine, but on one condition." I growled.
"What is it, dear?" Enma asked as an evil smile formed.
"You extract the spiritual powers Kikyo gave me, and give them to Jade. Then you let Jade leave without any inncident." I said; meeting his gaze.
"We were planning on keeping her around." Enma murmured.
"Me or her. Pick one." I snapped.
"Fine. We'll do it your way." he snarled.
"Good. I'll help." the words made me sick, but at least Jade would be safe.
