Author's note: I am very sorry for no response or post for a good like three months. That is so bad of me. It was partly to do with christmas holidays and work load etc and having severe writers block. This chapter was really difficult especially since to me its literally a filler for the next chapter. Anyways! Enjoy!

The Halloween bash had ended and you had spent Sunday by yourself. Sulking mainly and catching up on Netflix shows. Finally the first day of half term had arrived and you had just received your first knock on the door. You opened the door and frowned.
"Balthier... what are you doing here Seifer?" You asked folding your arms over your chest. Balthier bowed to you as you heard crashing and your brother running out of the kitchen.
"You've got some nerve showing up here after the stunt you pulled..." Your brother trailed off as he spotted Balthier. The older male gave them both a smile.
"Actually your highnesses, I have brought him over today to apologise for his actions at Lady Luck. It was unforgivable." He explained, Nyx and Fran by this point had appeared and Balthier's eyes travelled to Fran. "Good evening." He said, Fran smiled at him as Nyx folded his arms glaring at Seifer.
"Well thank you Balthier, but we want to hear it from him." Nyx ground out, you glanced at your body guard with a raised eyebrow and Fran clapped her hands together.
"Why you should come in." She said, Hayner and Nyx gawked at her and you shook your head.
"I don't think that's necessary." You hissed to Fran, Balthier grinned and nodded.
"That would be delightful. Seifer in, now." He said following Fran towards the living room, Nyx leant down to you and Hayner.
"If one of you accidently poison his tea, I won't tell anyone." He whispered causing you both to grin.
"You got it." Hayner smirked and the three of you trailed after Fran. Once you were in the living room Nyx leant against the door and you went and sat on the floor as Hayner went to the other sofa and sat down glaring at Seifer who glared back at him.
"So, now to business. How shall we go about this?" He asked, glancing around the room. You, Hayner, Fran and Nyx all exchanged glances.
"Is there really much to discuss? Seifer should just sta-" You cut Hayner off and pursed your lips together before speaking.
"I don't think this needs to go any further... Seifer it's no big deal, and all is forgiven." You said stiffly. Seifer's eyes widened. "Balthier you can tell the Mayor that I am fine and that things can continue like normal." You added, you glanced around the room and Hayner frowned watching you quietly. Balthier gave you a small smile.
"You are truly a wonderful princess and very kind with your words. Seifer what do you have to say?" He said glancing over to Seifer, Nyx raised an eyebrow and Seifer glanced at you.
"I'm sorry {Name}." He said, you nodded and stood up along with Fran.
"If that is all?" She said, Balthier nodded.
"Yes, thank you for this and we hope that you will come and visit the Mayor and his son soon." He said, Hayner rolled his eyes as the rest of you moved towards the door.
"Yes we will consider a visit after our return from home." Fran said smiling at Balthier. Nyx opened the door and nodded. Balthier glanced at you and you smiled at him as Seifer walked through the door.
"Goodbye princess. Fran, Nyx." Balthier bowed and took his leave as Nyx closed the door behind them. Nyx glanced at you and then Fran before pointing a finger back at you.
"No." He said firmly and you smirked before heading up the stairs to your bathroom to have a shower and get ready for bed.

"Hey sis." You brother began as he walked towards you. You turned around to face him and he folded his arms over his chest.
"Yeah? What's up?" You asked, he sighed and glanced at you.
"Listen I know you're just trying to be nice. But don't Seifer is my enemy. He's horrible to our friends and not worth it." Hayner said simply, you raised an eyebrow and folded your arms over your chest.
"I'm not. I just know that mom and dad won't want us to screw up relations with Destiny Island." You muttered, "I hate the guy..." You added softly, Hayner sighed and lowered his hands to his sides.
"Right... man when did you become mature?" he asked before he turned on heels and walked away towards his room. He stopped at his door and glanced back at you. "You're a good sister you know that." He said before disappearing. You blinked before heading into your room. You sighed and headed to bed, you flopped onto your pillow and sighed.
"Man what a weird day." You mused before falling asleep.

"HAYNER! {NAME}! Get up!" You sat up right and your brother came running into your room and headed to the balcony.
"Shut up you morons! It's ten in the morning!" He yelled, you rubbed your eyes and listened to the sound of laughing.
"Open the door and let us in!" Demyx shouted up, Hayner stuck out his tongue and stomped into your room and back to his.
"{Name}! Come love us!" Kairi screamed, you laughed and rolled out of bed. You yawned and began to find some clothes as you heard Nyx open the door and begin to have a chat with your friends.

"Alright weirdos what's the plan?" Hayner said as the two of you walked down the stairs together. Leon folded his arms and shook his head.
"Such a polite prince, aren't you?" He mused, Yuffie smirked at you as you joined her at the bottom of the stairs.
"I try, really, really hard." Hayner grinned back, you turned your attention to Kairi who was sat on your doorstep staring out into space.
"Hey chick, what is the plan?" You asked as you walked towards her as everyone else continued their conversations. She snapped out of her thoughts and glanced to you before smiling.
"Oh right, well we figured we'd get a day over at the island." She explained, you nodded and helped her up.
"Alright! Let's get going!" You said cheerfully, she nodded and you turned to your brother who clapped his hands together and your friends began to head on out towards the island.

You had all made it to the island, you all jumped out of the boats and you stared at the island. Hayner stood next to you with a hand on his hip.
"You know, this isn't the same as it was when it was summer." He mused, Tidus walked by and shook his head.
"Duh, it's winter now." He laughed as he went by, Hayner blinked and slapped his forehead.
"Jeez, alright guys what's the plan?" He asked, everyone began to mumble a little before Aqua stepped forward.
"We just thought it would be good to play some games and chill. Nothing major at all." She said cheerfully, you glanced at your brother and shrugged and he sighed.
"Yeah okay. What do you want to do first?" he asked, Olette glanced at Namine and you and you both shook your heads.
"How about we have a sand castle competition?" Prompto announced, Ven sniggered.
"That's a bit lame." He said, Prompto frowned at Ven who smirked and you pulled your hair back into a bun.
"That could be fun." You muttered, and Namine nodded in agreement.
"Seriously?" Gladiolus mused, Sora bounded forward and smiled brightly.
"What scared you'll lose?" He laughed, Noctis and Ven raised their eyebrows and watched Gladiolus and glanced at Sora.
"No. just that..." Gladiolus trailed off as he watched you and Namine begin to make a sandcastle with Sora and Rikku. Ven shrugged his shoulders. Prompto ran past them with his camera.
"Point for me!" He said, causing Ignis to roll his eyes as everyone began making castles and chatting together. Aqua watched her friends and glanced at Luna who smiled slightly.
"I think they're getting a little competitive..." She whispered, Aqua nodded watching them all in groups trying to win your attention.

"Alright let's do something else!" Xion said, you nodded and grabbed Serah's arm.
"How about we race?" Sora asked. Hayner cheered excitedly.
"Yes! No more baby castles!" He laughed, Paine raised her hand and smacked Hayner up the side of the head causing him to groan and you to laugh. Riku stopped next to you and placed a hand on his hip.
"I don't see why not? How are we going to do it? How about we make it interesting." He asked glancing at you. You tapped your chin thinking until Axel yawned.
"Loser has to be nice to Selphie." He said earning a few laughs, Reno nodded.
"Ohh a whole week of being nice to Selphie!" He added, Vanille raised her eyebrow and he winked at her.
"Sorry Vanille."
"I like a good challenge got it memorised." He said and you rolled your eyes smiling. "Ohhh we have to beat {Name}." he said nudging you in the hip. You groaned and Hayner laughed.
"Could you imagine." Kairi laughed and you shook your head as Reno and Axel smirked.
"We'll give you a heads start, got it memorised." Axel said ruffling your hair as Reno punched your shoulder gently.
"You can count on us." He said, as Riku scoffed and Zack rolled his eyes.
"You two aren't the fastest. I am." He said, you glanced at him. "How about I race for you {Name} and when I win you can pick which guy has to be nice to Selphie." He said winking at you, causing you to blush slightly before you could respond Noctis snorted and Zack turned to him.
"What was that for?"
"You seriously believe you're the best don't you Zack." Noctis sighed. Zack turned around a frown on his face.
"I'm sorry what did you say?" He asked, Noctis shook his head.
"Nothing." He muttered, Zack tutted his finger as the rest of the group began to listen in.
"No, you said I think I'm the best. But here's the thing I'm not the only one here today trying to prove they're the best." He said, Noctis groaned.
"No, I just want you to finally admit that you aren't the best at everything."
"Seriously?" Xion raised an eyebrow as Noctis and Zack glared at each other.
"I never said I was." Zack muttered, Noctis folded his arms.
"But you think it! And your ego keeps on growing." He said, Zack's eyes widened.
"Why is it bothering you so much?!" He hissed back, you raised an eyebrow as Cloud stepped forward an annoyed expression on his face.
"Guys, are you really fighting over this? It's a little childish." He said, Zack and Noctis turned to him.
"Stay out of it." They yelled, Cloud rolled his eyes.
"Hey don't start yelling at my brother." Roxas called out from behind. Ven nodded.
"Besides it was our rep who started this argument in the first place." Ven added, Riku turned around to Ven.
"I didn't even want to start doing races that was Sora." He muttered, Sora let out an annoyed groan.
"Well how else are we supposed to match Axel and Reno who just open their mouths and everyone thinks they're amazing." He piped up. Axel and Reno who had been talking to you and Hayner turned around.
"Excuse me?" Reno said. Axel placed a hand on his hip.
"I'm not even apologising for being me. This was all their idea to come to the island today because they haven't spent as much time as us with {Name}." He said gesturing to the college students, your eyes widened and you glanced to Ignis and the others.
"It was?" You asked, Yuffie slapped her forehead.
"Man you guys are ridiculous." Tifa moaned, Zexion sighed.
"Why are we fighting guys?" He asked and everyone played the blame game, getting louder and angrier at each other, you stepped next to your brother who looked like a codfish his mouth wide open. The girls all shared the same look of disappointment until Luna raised her hand up in the air.
"Stop it!" Luna finally shouted causing all the boys to look at her. She placed her hands on her hips and glanced at you and Hayner. You both had gone silent and you were both staring off into space. Your lovely day had just been 180'd. Paine rolled her eyes and headed over to you, Yuna Tidus and Rikku following her. She wrapped her arms around both your shoulders and you snapped out of your thoughts along with Hayner who glanced up at Paine an eyebrow raised.
"We're going home." She announced. You nodded gratefully to her.
"Bye guys." You briefly waved to everyone and headed off with the group.
"Man, those guys are so idiotic sometimes." Tidus mused, you nodded along with Hayner.
"Don't be too mad at them, they do mean well." Yuna said defending the boys. You shrugged your shoulders as Rikku hugged you tightly.
"Don't worry, it'll all be forgotten by tomorrow." She said giving you a grin.
"Let's just get home. I have to clean a room I should have cleaned a while ago." Paine muttered, Hayner laughed.
"Your dungeon?" He teased, Paine smacked him on the arm and you giggled.
"She has a point, I don't remember seeing your room clean ever." Yuna giggled, "want me to come help?" She asked, Paine nodded as the four of you headed away from the island and your friends.

"Tragic." Kairi muttered folding her arms over her chest. Axel rolled his eyes as Zack kicked the sand.
"It's not our fault they started it." Reno muttered, Xion snorted and picked up her bag.
"You know, if you don't cut it all out you're gonna lose a lot of friends and fast." She said, Axel sighed and began to walk along side Xion.
"Yeah we know... we're sorry, got it memorised." He said, Kairi exhaled and shrugged her shoulders.
"Yeah I'm sure everyone does." She said as the four of them headed home for the night.
