Y/n's pov.
I enter the building and walk to the elevator, pressing the up button. When the door open, I enter and press the 15th floor.
It goes up, I put on my cap and lower it down when the door opens to the 15th floor. I exit and I bump into someone's shoulder.
" S-sorry " I said and walk away.
" Wait " her voice was familiar.
" Are you looking for somebody? " She asked.
" Landon, Landon L/n? " I asked as I keep my head down low.
" Oh, my name's Catherine, he's my boss, follow me " she said.
Catherine Fox, shit.
I follow her and we turn a corner walking down the hallway.
" Say, you look a little familiar " she said, I keep quiet.
" What's your name? " She asked.
" I'm actually in a hurry " I said.
" Oh sorry " she said and continue to walk, we enter an area where I see office table everywhere.
My eyes landed on Ash, he made eye contact with me and I look away immediately.
" Landon's in there " Catherine points.
" Y/n? " Ash calls.
And there goes my element of sneaking.
" Wait, Y/n " Catherine takes off my cap and I look down.
" I'll see Landon next time " I turn around but Garroth stood there.

" What are you doing here? " Garroth asked, I turn the other way but Catherine stood there.
I keep my head down as my bangs hide my other eye.
" Are you here to kill Landon? " A hand grab my wrist, I turn to the person and it's Ein.
" You got the wrong idea " I pull back my hand but he wouldn't let go.
" Really?, You got here at the perfect timing, I was gonna go after you " Dante said.
" Why are you here? " A guy with snow white hair and green emerald eyes approaches.
Travis I think was his name.
" Let go " I struggle but ended up enduring the pain on my wrist where my cuts are.
Ein was gripping my wrist too hard.
" Ein. . . . .she's shaking " a girl with jet black hair and green emerald eyes approaches.
I see she was looking at my hand that Ein is gripping right now, I clench my hand into a fist and pull my hand back but he still wouldn't budge.
" Landon " the girl with raven hair and amber eyes calls out.

Landon exits his office.
" What's going on? " He asked and I kept my head down.
" Y/n?, What is she doing here? " He asked.
" That's the question she hasn't answered yet, she's probably planning to kill you, I gotta say, your strategy sucks " Travis said.
I roll my eyes away.
" I wasn't planning to " I said.
" Then why are you here? " Katelyn approaches.
I sigh.
" Stop sighing, like literally " Garroth said.
I look up at them as I move my bangs away, they all had wide eyes.
" Can you let go now? " I look at Ein, he slowly let go.
" I need your help " I look at Landon.

" First off, why are you here? " Katelyn asked, I went to my back pocket and everyone flinched on that except Landon.
I see Catherine has her hand ready to grab her gun on the side of her waist. I roll my eyes away and take out the necklace.
" It's for Dante " I said and Dante steps forward.
I pass it to him as I see his hands were trembling.
" Nicole's necklace " Aphmau said.
" Where did you get this? " He asked.
" I'm the one who shot her " I said.
Tears were forming in his eyes.
" You what? " I can hear the anger in his voice.
" We'll talk about that later, Natalie take him " Landon said the girl with jet black hair and green emerald eyes.
They both exit.
" Wanna share how that happened? " Landon asked as I realized he was looking at the bruise on my eyes and the cut on my cheek bone.
" I should've been dead " I said and hold dad's bracelet that's around my wrist.
" Did Carter did that to you? " Ash asked, I slightly nodded.
They are my only chance.
" Why? " Ein asked, I shook my head.
" I can't take it anymore " my voice cracked.
" What exactly happened? " Catherine asked.
" He asked me to kill Nicole, I did, but then he wanted me to kill his father, I couldn't " tears started to form in my eyes.
" He threatens that he'll kill Meghan if I don't do it, and I did, but he wasn't happy with it " tears was already forming in my eyes, I wipe it away.
" Is that why you asked for our help? " Ash asked, I nodded.
" I tried to give you a straight answer but if I stayed longer that day, he knows, and now you know, I don't know what he'll do to me next " I said and calm down.
" What has he been doing to you? " Garroth asked.
I take off my jacket showing them my scars on my back since I'm only wearing a crop top.
" Damn " Travis's jaw dropped, I was uncomfortable so I put it back on.
" Has he been doing this to you ever since you were little? " Katelyn asked.
I'll tell them the truth when the time is right.
" Yes " I said and wipe another tear that was streaming down my cheeks.
" We'll do something about it later " Aphmau said.
" No " I said, it got the whole room confused.
" I want you to do something about it now, he's not who you think he is " I said.
" What is he hiding? " Katelyn asked.
This is my chance.

The door opens and a guy enters, he has jet black hair and brown eyes.
" Kim Seung Jae? " I asked.
" You two know each other? " Ein asked.
" Geunyeonenun yeogiseo mwohaneungeoya?! " He shouts. (What is she doing here?!)
" Seung Jae " Catherine scolds.
" Yeogiseo il haeyo? " I asked. (You work here?)
" Your profile doesn't lie, you really do speak four languages " Ash said.
I fold my arms as I lean back on the chair.
" English? " Garroth asked.
" What is she doing here? " Jae asked.
" She wants to cooperate right now " Travis said.
" She can't be trusted, she works for Carter " he walks over to me but Ein stops him.
I sigh as I look away.
" Sort of " Catherine said.
" How do you know?, It might be a sneak attack to kill one of us " Jae said.
" He didn't mean to " I look up at him.
" You watched and let him kill my parents! "
" It was a fair duel, they lost it's what they get! "
" You bitch! " He grabs me by my neck and pin my to the wall as the chair falls down to the side.
I wince when he puts pressure.
" Your not the only one. . . . .who's parents is killed. . .by his hands " I grip his wrist.
" What are you planning this time?, To kill me?, Try me then" He hits my head on the wall and I wince, I feel the wound on my back had too much pressure on it along with my neck.
I winced and squeeze his wrist when I was starting to run out of air, I look at him and notice he was staring at his eyes.
" Enough! " Catherine push him off.
I fall down and gasp for air, I felt a sharp pain on my chest and I start coughing. Catherine calm me down and I look at my hand where blood has stain the palm of my hand.
" Shit " I wipe the edge of my lips.
I push off Catherine and got up myself as I wipe the blood on her jacket.
" Hey! " She complains.
I stood straight and wince when my back aches.
" The wound hasn't healed yet? " Garroth asked, I look away.
" What wound?, A wound from falling? " Jae asked, I punch him and he takes a step back.
" Will you not? " Katelyn stood in between us.
" It's just a waste of time, you guys aren't helping at all " I walk off.
" Wait " Ein grabs my arms.
I look down and I felt a weird feeling, I look up at him.
" Y/n " Landon calls, Ein let go and I turn around to Landon.
" We can talk now in my office " He said.
" There's no need " I said take out the audio bug I took off from under the table out of my jacket pocket.
I place down the audio bug on the table.
" The table is the worse hiding spot " I said and walk off.
I exit the room and walk down the hallway when my phone rings. I stop in my tracks and see the contact.
Louise.
I answer it.
" Yeah? " I asked as I lean against the wall.
" Where are you? " He asked.
" At work, I'm about to leave " I said.
" Be here, I need to talk to you " he said.
" Oh, how's Meghan though? " I asked.
" She took the new medicine and. . . . . " The tone of his voice was worrying.
" Louise " I said, he chuckles.
" There were some improvements " he said, I sigh in relief.
" I'll be there in a few minutes "
The game has just begun.
