"Where are you going?" Sesshomaru asked from a tree limb; not bothering to look at her.

"None of your business." Jade said, and continued walking. Sesshomaru didn't push any farther. Jade had been in a bad mood since she woke up after the fight.

"I killed someone! Demon or not! I killed them!" Jade yelled at him when he asked why she was crying. She had woken up, and immediately broken down.

"You protecte Rin." Sesshomaru told her.

"No. I kiled him in cold blood. He wasn't interested in Rin." Jade had countered.

"Kagome?" Jade said when she got to the well.

"Going back?" Kagome asked.

"Uh, yeah. I need a break." Jade replied; avoiding eye contact. She hadn't been able to look anyone in the eye since her fight with Konahamaru.

"The well still doesn't work for me. Looks like only you can cross through it now." Kagome said with a sad smile.

"I'll tell Grandpa Sota you said hey." Jade said.

"Thanks." Kagome's smile changed into a happier one, and then she left.

"You're going home?" Sesshomar's voice startled her.

"For a few days. I'll be back. I have to." Jade sighed, but so far the marks on her back hadn't stopped her from trying to leave.

"You should stay here. Your wounds are still bad." Sesshomaru said; coming to stand beside her.

"My mom's a doctor. I think she can take care of me." Jade replied.

Jade climbed onto the edge of the well, and was about to jump when Sesshomaru jumped in.

"What are you doing?" Jade yelled; jumping in after him.

"A test." he replied; the well began to change around them. It looked the same as when Katana dragged her in it.

When the well was back to normal, Jade saw a rope ladder hanging down. She went to climb up it, but Sesshomaru wrapped an arm around her waist and jumped.

"I could have climbed up." Jade muttered as he set her down.

"Not good on your shoulder." he replied; voice cold and emotionless.

"Wait! You're not going out there! Go back to the other side." Jade panicked when Sesshomaru started up the stairs.

"Why?" he asked; not bothering to turn around.

"Your clothes will stand out too much, and your markings." Jade said; thinking quickly.

"Fine. Just stay here for a few. I'll be right back." Jade sighed when he made no move to leave.

"What are you doing?" he asked as she passed him.

"Getting stuff. Grandpa Sota should have some clothes from when he was younger, and I have just the stuff to cover your markings." Jade replied; a slight laugh at the end, "I'll be right back, so don't move."

"Jade, you're back?" Sota said as she walked into the house.

"Yeah, hey do you still have some of your old clothes?" Jade asked.

"Yes, do you need them for something?" he asked.

"Sesshomaru followed me back, and his clothes are pretty flashy." Jade laughed; running upstairs to get the clothes.

"I wonder who Sesshomau is." Jade's mom said as she came into the kitchen.

"Maybe he's a half demon like Inuyasha." Sota laughed.

"These should fit." Jade said; handing Sesshomaru a pair of blue slacks, and a white dress shirt, "It was all Grandpa Sota had left that would fit you."

"I see you changed." Sesshomaru said; taking off his armor.

"Yeah." she replied; turning around quickly as he removed his robe and shirt. Jade had changed into a white dress her mother had given her a few years ago.

"I'm dressed now." Sesshomaru said.

"Barely." Jade said; blushing when she turned around and saw his shirt wasn't buttoned, "Let me." She couldn't help but look as she buttoned his shirt. He had the same marks on his sides as he did on his cheeks, and his muscles where well defined.

"Your world has weird clothing." Sesshomaru said; looking at what he was wearing.

"Yeah, my world does." Jade scuffed as she rolled his sleeves up.

"What's that?" he asked; narrowing his eyes as she raised a sponge to his face.

"It's cover up. It will hide your markings. Your skin color is about the same as mine." Jade said; wiping the makeup on his forehead, "Perfect match."

"Here." he said; holding up his wrists.

"Those will be fine. People will just think they're tattoos." Jde replied.

"Tattoos?" Sesshomaru asked.

"I'm not in the mood to explain, but they're normal in this world." Jade said; dismissing the subject with a wave of her hand, "We need to go buy you more clothes."

"What?" Sesshomaru questioned.

"Shopping." Jade said with a smile.

"Is this Sesshomaru?" Grandpa Sota asked when they both left the shrine.

"Yeah. He's a full demon, and Inuyasha's brother." Jade explained.

"I can tell he's a demon. His ears say that." Jade's mom laughed.

"Ah! I forgot the ears!" Jade exclaimed; trying to make his hair cover them.

"What are you going?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Hiding your ears." Jade mumbled.

        "I give up." Jade sighed.

"They aren't that noticable." Sota said.

"We're going shopping." Jade said.

"Don't be too long." Jade's mom called after her.

"Okay." Jade called back.

"Well if it isn't Jade." a familiar voice laughed.

"Yumi." Jade sneared.

"Haven't seen you in a few years. What brings you back? Did you run away from your problems again?" Yumi teased.

"I didn't run last time. If memory serves, I beat you last time I was here. Haven't you already been embarrassed enough?" Jade said; turning around to face her.

"You got a lucky hit!" Yumi yelled.

"You still blaming luck?" Jade laughed.

"How about a rematch!" Yumi yelled; furious now.

"You're not worth my time." Jade replied; turning and walking away.

"Why so scared!" Yumi yelled; running at her.

"You're hardly worth any effort." Jade said; easily dodging Yumi's punch, and pushing her to the side.

Guess I should thank you for the exttra abilities. Jade thought to Nayumi.

"You're fast, but you're over confident." Yumi sneared.

"I'm not in the mood. Leave why you still can." Jade said; giving her a cold glare. She could feel the stitches in her shoulder pull when she moved too much, and she didn't want to rip those open. Jade started to walk away again, and this time Yumi let her.

"This isn't over!" Yumi called after her.

"This was over four years ago." Jade called back, "Come." she added to Sesshomaru.

"I don't know when, or how, Nayumi spelled me, but I don't like it." Sesshomaru mumbled as he followed her.

"I don't know. It comes in handy." Jade said with a smile.

"So who was that?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Yumi. She hates me." Jade said; not saying anymore.

I'm going back to the other side." Sesshomaru said a few days later.

"Watch out for Rin. I'll be back tomorrow." Jade replied; the marks on her back were starting to hurt again, but she wasn't quite ready to leave yet.

"I will." he said, then jumped into the well.

"Now I can finally relax." Jade said when he was gone. A sharp pain shot through her shoulder and ribs when she turned away from the well, but she ignored it.

She hadn't told Sesshomaru, or anyonoe else, about Nayumi's dream visits. Sesshomaru questioned her about why she flinched when someone touched her ribs, but she just told him that she fell. He didn't believer her, but he dropped the subject.

"I'm going to get a bath." Jade told her mom as she passed through the kitchen.

"Okay, sweetie." her mom replied as she cooked dinner.

"What're ya making?" Jade asked; catching a good smell.

"Chicken and rice." her mom laughed.

"Yum." Jade said; smiling as she continued to the bathroom.

Nice warm water. Jade thought as the tub filled. Now let's look at these wounds.

"What?!" Jade exclaimed when she took her clothes off. On her hips, she bared the same marks she had seen on Sesshomaru's sides. Her's were a little lower than his, but they looked the same. They were the same as the lines that had formed across her shoulders.

What's wrong? Sesshomaru's voice startled her, and she couldn't help but let an image of the marks cross her mind. She was just thankful that she was still in her underwear.

When did you get those? He asked.

I don't know! I didnt feel any pain from them! Jade exclaimed; starting to freak out.

Calm down. You're going to make your wounds worse. Sesshomaru told her, but she was still panicking.

Don't ever tell a girl to calm down! It never works! Jade yelled at him.

I'm coming back. Sesshomaru said. Jade was too distracted by her new marks to argue.

"So you have no idea when they showed up?" Sesshomaru asked; leaning against her wall as she laid in her bed.

"No. There was no pain from these." Jade sighed; she calmed down a little when Sesshomaru got there.

"Are you sure? Maybe it happened while you were fighting and you just didn't notice?" Sesshomaru asked.

"It didn't happen in the feudal era. It had to have happened since I got home." Jade replied.

"Roll over and let me see." Sesshomaru said; sitting down next to her. Jade did what he said; lifting her shirt to her belly button, and pulling her leggings down just enough for him to see the marks.

"There's something I need to tell you." Jade said; deciding there was no better time to tell him about her dreams, and what Sakura said in the last one.

"So, if you keep training with Nayumi, she will take over and become a dog demon?" Sesshomaru asked after Jade had explained everything.

"That's the short version." Jade nodded.

"Then we'll just have to kill Sakura and break the spell before that happens." Sesshomaru shrugged; no emotion crossing his face. The usual for him.

"We should get some sleep." Jade sighed; the marks on her back were burning again, but she wanted to sleep in her own bed one more time.

"We're leaving when the sun rises." Sesshomaru said; standing up.

"Where are you going?" Jade asked.

"No where." he replied.

"Why did you get up then?" Jade asked.

"To sleep on the floor." Sesshomaru said.

"I'm not going to make you sleep on the floor. I'm not that mean. Just take the pointy armor off first." Jade laughed; scooting over on the bed. Sesshomaru gave her a questioning look, but soon took of the armor and laid down.

"What kind of demon was Konahamaru?" Jade asked a few hours later; she knew Sesshomaru was still awake.

"He was a dog demon." Sesshomaru answered.

"I thought so." Jade mumbled; more to herself than to him.

"You had no other choice. In my world you can't just beat them in a fight once and it's over. With demons, it's kill them or give them anothe chance to attack. That's dangerous. After one fight, most demon's know what to expect, and will have time to counter." Sesshomaru said.

"I know, but I still feel bad. I felt bad after killing those demons by the well when I first showed up. It didn't bother me as much though because none of them looked human. He looked mostly human." Jade said; turning over to face Sesshomaru.

"If you hadn't of killed him, then he would have killed you. He might have even tried to kill Rin." Sesshomaru said, "Let that help you sleep at night."

"Thank you." Jade said; falling asleep with a smile  on her face.
