The next day you were up early, which surprised you since you guys arrived back at the island at about midnight, Cloud, Leon and Gladiolus had set up a whole camp fire and food before you all headed back to the main land. You got up and hopped into the shower before heading back into your room picking out your clothes. Once you were ready clad in your black jogging bottoms, white logo t-shirt and white trainers, you quietly headed downstairs realising your brother was still asleep. You entered the kitchen and made yourself your favourite breakfast before tapping your foot in thought. You hopped off the chair and grabbed a pen and paper.
Going out, be back in a bit!
You grabbed your bag and headed out the door, locking it quietly behind you before running down the street, grinning like a mad man at how beautiful destiny island was in the early morning. Since it was early you were hoping to see the island without your brother's snarky comments. You made your way through the streets trying to figure out where to go until you stopped by...

The Café
You left your house and headed to the café Roxas had shown you the other day. You entered the Island café and spotted a bored red head by the cashier. You headed over and stopped.
"Welcome to..." She looked up and you gave her a small wave, she squealed in delight and threw herself over the counter to hug you. "Thank you for saving me!" She laughed as you both let go, "so many questions! One why are you here? Where's your brother? What are you doing up so early? What can I get you? And why are you here of all places?" She babbled until you clamped your hand over her mouth still laughing a little.
"Good questions," you smile at her as she removes your hand from her mouth. "So..." She held up her hand and turned her back.
"Reno! Guess who's here!" Kairi yelled, you heard a loud thump and a yell before a red hair popped out rubbing his head.
"This better not be one of the twins..." He trailed off as he spotted you, his eyes widened as he hurried over. "Hey {Name} whatcha doing here?"
You rolled your eyes and poked Kairi's cheek.
"I was just telling Kairi here, I came here because I wanted to try your food and drinks at the café, Hayner's in bed lazy idiot, I'm up early because I didn't want to waste the day, and I thought I'd surprise you guys by visiting." You said cheerfully, Reno folded his arms in thought.
"Well we'll have to get you something to eat and drink." Reno announced causing Kairi to roll her eyes as she headed to her all but forgotten notepad and pen. You smile as you look up at the board.
"Get her the All for One meal." The three of you turn around to see Zack standing there smirking.
"Hey Zack." You say, as he comes up next to you, his slinging around your neck, "what kind of meal is that?" You ask turning to Kairi as Reno chuckles.
"Madam Mim, is a little weird, she names everything weirdly." He explains, you nod and turn to Kairi who put your order through.
"That will be 7 munny." She stated you were about to rummage through your bag when Zack put his hand forward.
"It's on me." He mused, Reno glared at the raven male, but smiled once you looked up at the trio.
"No... I couldn't let you do that." You say frowning at Zack, he shook his head as his eyes flickered to the side, he slowly pulled you to a table.
"It's on me, you sit there Kairi will bring it right out. I gotta get back to work. See you guys later!" He ruffled your hair and headed out the café, coffee in hand as he jogged away. Reno gave you a wave before getting back to work. You waited a while longer until the door opened, you turned slightly and spotted Aqua with another pretty girl beside her. Kairi headed over to you,
"Aqua! Serah guess who's here!" She waved, Aqua frowned before smiling widely pulling the other girl with her, she bent down and hugged you tightly.
"Hi Aqua!" you say before pulling back, they take a seat next to you.
"Serah this is {Name} Hayner's sister,"
You shake the girls hand who smiles warmly at you, she had pale pink hair and she wore a white button up vest and red skater skirt.
"Oh I'm so glad to finally meet you! Aqua was telling me all about you! Oh, don't let us interrupt your food." She said gesturing to the meal Kairi placed in front of you.
"You guys should join me!" You said, Aqua and Serah exchanged glances before nodding and sitting down with you. You stared at the key shaped pancakes, with chocolate sauce, strawberries and whipped cream. Your drink was a concoction of blue and orange. You took a sip and could taste blueberries and orange. Strange combination but it worked. You dug into your meal as Aqua, Serah and you began to talk about what you were all doing that week before school.
Once you were finished, you were about ready to go when Aqua clapped her hands together.
"We should have a sleepover!" Serah squealed in delight as you grinned a little,
"that would be awesome," You glanced at your phone noticing a load of messages from your brother, you groan a little. "let me know when Aqua, I gotta get going brother's yelling!" You stood up and turned to spot the sibling's. "Thanks for the food!" You waved to Reno and Kairi "See you both soon! Bye Reno! Kairi!" You give Aqua and Serah one last hug, "See you soon Aqua, so nice meeting you Serah!" You said before jogging out into the hot outdoors.
Shopping
You had found your way to the local supermarket, to get some food for you and your brother. You headed down one of the isle when you heard someone singing.
"I want to ride my chocobo all day!" You frown a little as you recognise the voice, you turn the corner and spotted Prompto and Noctis.
"Prompto? I didn't know you could sing." You say smiling, he turned around horror all over his face as Noctis crossed his arms over his chest a smug smirk on his face.
"I told you someone would hear you."
Prompto rubbed the back of his neck as you hurried over to the two of them.
"Well hey {Name}... good to see you." You embrace them both in a hug before pulling back.
"So how's it hanging?" You ask, Noctis shrugged his shoulders as Prompto smiled brightly.
"Just doin' some shopping, I mean everyone's gotta eat."
"Hey you two, who're you talking to?" A gruff voice called, you turn around and spot Gladiolus turning the corner.
"Hey Gladiolus!" You wave a little as he spots you, his eyes widen in surprise before he walks over to you ruffling your hair. A guy stopped next to him and pushed up his glasses.
"So who is this?"
"Oh right, Ignis you haven't met Hayner's sister yet." Noctis stepped forward placing his hand on the small of your back, Prompto raised an eyebrow as Gladiolus folded his arms in annoyance, Noctis pushed you forward as you extended your hand to Ignis.
"Hi, I'm {Name} nice to meet you Ignis, the guys were telling me you're a great cook." You smile, and he gives a small nod, his facial expression unreadable.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too {Name} but despite what the other's may have said, I'm not a great cook. I do what I can." He said as he let go of your hand, Noctis rolled his eyes.
"When did you get so modest?"
You turn around to Prompto, as Ignis and Noctis have a low argument.
"So, what are you doing here {Name},"
"Oh nothing much looking around." You answer, Prompto steps a little closer to you as everyone began to walk along the isle.
"Anything in particular?" Gladiolus added, you shake your head.
"Well then I know exactly where you need to go!" Prompto said clicking his fingers, Prompto grabs you by the hand and strolls quickly to a stall "The moogle store!" He cheered, Ignis, Noctis and Gladiolus' jaws dropped as they watched their blonde friend take you away laughing and chatting with him.
"Damn." Noctis sighed, Gladiolus trekked after the two.
"He sure is quick off the mark." Ignis muttered folding his arms over his chest.
"Only Prompto..." Gladiolus stated annoyance in his voice, the three all exchanged glances eyeing each other before trailing after you.
After a while the five of you had finished your shop until your phone began to ring. The boys stopped as you answered.
"SIS WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? WHY HAVENT YOU BEEN ANSWERING! YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE MISSY!" You held the phone away from your ear flinching, Noctis, Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus chuckled.
"I get it... I'm on my way." You hang up on your ranting brother, as you turn to the guys "well, I gotta go, Hayner's being a jerk."
"Bummer." Prompto said sadly, Gladiolus nods as Noctis shrugged his shoulders, "I'll see you soon though, bye guys!" You hugged all of them before running off leaving them to carry on with their own shopping.
Bar
"Good morning, {Name}!"
You stopped in your tracks and noticed Aerith walking up the road towards you. You ran forward to her before throwing your arms around her waist hugging her tightly.
"Aerith! I haven't seen you since the party! How are you?"
The older girl hugged you back laughing gently, as you pull away from her.
"It has been a little while. I'm okay, where are you off to?" She asked as you both walked down the street.
"Oh I just kinda wanted to see around the island some more without everyone else. Do you know anywhere I should go?" You ask, Aerith clasped her hands in front of her as she thought for a moment.
"Well... I guess you could come see where I work, I'm sure Leon and Cloud would be happy to see you." She smiled as you frown at her in confusion only making the brunette laugh more.
"Woah!" You gasp in surprise as you enter the building known as Lady Luck. You blinked at the sign with a raised eyebrow. Aerith ushered you in as you both spotted two girl's, one behind the bar and one sitting on a stool.
"Tifa, Lightning I've brought a visitor." Aerith declared, the long black-haired girl turned on her stool.
"It better not be one of the boys..." She trailed off when her eyes met yours, her frown turned to a smile as you stopped with Aerith in front of her.
"Tifa this is Hayner's sister, {Name}." She explained the girl clad in black stood up and hugged you before pulling up a stool for you. "{Name} this is Lightning," The pink haired girl nodded washing glasses.
"Hey kid, what can we do you for?"
"Nothing much, I was just looking around the island when Aerith found me. Nice to meet you both, you've got an awesome bar." The three girl's smile proudly as Lightning stepped forward.
"Thanks." She said, Tifa chuckled.
"we just work here... For free, I work at the post office,doing deliveries with Ignis." Tifa explained, you glanced at Lightning who smirked.
"Pretty girly the sign right?" She mused, you shrugged your shoulders as your cheeks turned red.
"Lady Luck is quite stylish though, it almost sounds like a gamblers place to be." You said, Tifa raised an eyebrow smiling.
"That's a pretty cool way of thinking." She said, Lightning nodded as Aerith sat down,
"Lightning lost a bet and had to name it this. So in a way you are right." She gave her friend a wink as Lightning sighed.
"I thought we weren't telling people that anymore." She muttered, you chuckled lightly and sat down with Tifa.
"She looks like she can keep a secret." Tifa added, your eyes widened and you chuckled awkwardly knowing they weren't wrong. The four of you began talking about each other and things you should look at whilst here on the island and then you could hear footsteps from the stairs
"hey Tifa. You guys were supposed to help us an hour ago, what took you so long." The voice of Leon echoed as they came into view, Lightning rolled her eyes,
"you big babies couldn't handle taking stock?" She mused, Leon sighed as Cloud appeared behind him.
"Hi Cloud! Hi Leon!" You wave, the two guys looked at you their scowls instantly fading as they came around giving you a hug.
"Hey kid, what're you doing here?" Leon said, Tifa smirked as Aerith brought her hand up to her mouth to keep her from laughing.
"Nothing much just meeting Tifa and Lightning." You explain, Leon folded his arms over his chest. Tifa smirked as she leant on the bar.
"So {Name} did you know these two guys, work at this bar... you know serving drinks, cleaning tables... breaking up fights?"
The two boys turn their attention to Tifa with their eyebrows raised, you glance at Tifa before looking at the boys.
"That's pretty awesome! I mean you guys don't get hurt, right?" You ask cautiously, Cloud gave a small smile and pointed proudly to himself.
"Course not, no problem we can't handle."
Tifa rolled her eyes, as Leon piped up.
"We're pretty strong {Name} I'd never let anything happen to you." He stated, Cloud nudged his shoulder, as you laughed a little.
"None of us would." Cloud added, Lightning began banging her head on the table slowly as the two boys went on, Aerith trying her best not to laugh as Tifa burst into laughter. After a while the two boys scowled at one another as you glanced at your phone, three missed phone calls and ten messages, you sigh softly and glance up, Aerith cleared her throat and Cloud and Leon snapped to attention.
"Well I got to go, Hayner's being Hayner." You went around and hugged them all before heading out of the bar, Lightning jogged up to you, tapping your shoulder.
"Come visit you hear. See you soon {Name}." She smiled at you ruffling your hair, you nod.
"Will do!" You say before jogging off home.
library
You headed into the library and headed to the desk. A woman behind the desk looked up and smiled,
"how may I help you?"
"Hi- uh I was interested in purchasing a library card." You say rocking back on your heels, the woman nodded and rolled away on her chair before coming back with a form.
"Just fill this out and sign this... and I'll get you sorted."
A few minutes later you had finished the letter when someone tapped you on the shoulder. You turn around to spot Genesis, blank faced behind you.
"Hi Genesis! How are you?"
"Not too bad, what are you doing in the library on a day like this?" He gestured towards the first floor of the library and you followed him in.
"Ah, so looking forward to school?" You ask, he gave a small nod.
"I like school, but it can be difficult sometimes. But I'm sure you'll have lots of fun." He added at your crestfallen face. "Did you get your timetable?"
"Yeah, ICT, Maths, English, Science, Home Ec, Sports, Drama and History!" You count off on your fingers, he nods.
"I might see you in one of your classes." He states as you spot Olette, Namine and Zexion at a table together.
"How come?" You say stopping slightly,
"I'm the T.A" He pulls you along to the table,
"Oh cool! Hi guys!" You say sliding into the chair beside Olette. You were greeted with hello before the five of you began talking about books and hobbies.
"Oh, you should read A Hidden Kindness, it's a fanfic about a series called Naruto and it's around a young girl called Melody who'd dealing with dark secrets as she learns to work with her team Kaiya and Clay as they develop and oh there's so much cuteness between Sasuke Uchiha and Melody!" Olette squealed, you laugh a little.
"Sure, sounds like fun I'll give it a read," You say causing the brunette to smile,
"everyone should read it!" She declared, Genesis and Zexion's jaws dropped in amazement.
"It's a fanfiction that's not literature." Zexion snorts causing Olette to roll her eyes,
"you know, that's almost as bad as Zexion's time with Twilight..." Genesis mused causing the purplette to glare at him, Namine smiled at her friends before her eyes flickered to your phone.
"Oh, I think Hayner's looking for you?" You all glance down at the phone.
WHERE ARE YOU?! I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN IF YOU ARE NOT HOME IN THE NEXT TEN MINUTES!
You sigh a little before standing up, "well thanks for all the suggestions I'll be sure to take a look see you at school!" You wave to them, Namine sighed as she went back to her work.
"I can't wait for school."
"It's so great Hayner's back.... Oh and {Name}!" Olette blushed, Genesis sighed.
"I'm sure everyone is this year."
"You're not wrong." Zexion added as he watched you leave through the double doors.
