"Barbie, you're staying here with Tej and Roman. Dom, Letty, Kaleb, you're coming with me." Katherine instructed. She walked to her trunk and grabbed her weapons. Guns everywhere.
"What about me?" I frowned.
"You should've stayed at the house, one arm." Katherine snapped.
"I'm going in." I hissed.
"No you're not." Cheryl argued.
"Oh good. Her again." Katherine rolled her eyes.
Cheryl ignored Katherine. After what happened this morning, I knew she wasn't trying to mess with Katherine again. I wouldn't neither.
"I've had way worse." I reassured Cheryl.
"And if you get killed?" Katherine looked me in the eye.
"I would die knowing I had my team back. You should try it sometime." I told her.
"Okay. Fine." Katherine flung a gun at me.
"Easy." I caught it. "Could've shot me."
"Apparently I had my own back." Katherine flipped her hair.
I turned to Cheryl. She hugged me.
"I love you." She whispered.
It was the first time she ever said that to me. How long has she been feeling this? I don't know. But I can tell she meant it. My eyes cut to Katherine who was watching us. She caught my eye and turned away. I just kissed Cheryl because I wasn't going to say it if I didn't mean it.
"Tej, Roman. Female Blondie." Katherine looked at the three campers. She handed them snipers. "You will start shooting into the base, distracting them from us. Do your best not to get killed Roman and Tej. I happen to like you."
"You know what?" Cheryl snapped. "I don't care if you shoot me for saying this but you are a complete bitch. You act as if your the victim because you're trying to save your dear precious Mother but in reality you were in the wrong for leaving this amazing team. Oh poor Katherine. Was called in to save Mommy Assassin but guess what... I won."
"The fuck was the competition?" Katherine frowned.
"I'm here now. I've been fighting with the team for a year. And I fell in love with the amazing guy you left. So go fuck yourself." Cheryl is fed up. Her face is all red.
Katherine stepped in her face and pushed Cheryl's hair over her shoulder with a Glock.
"Oh sweetie. You want to ask him if he loves you back?" Katherine purred way to calmly. "I will return after this and you... you will be booted off the team. There's not enough room for you and I don't like to be crammed. Nobody loves me...the team loves me and oh yeah, your Ken doll has been obsessed with me even before I left. So who really won? I am better than you. I'm above you. Remember that the next time you find the courage to speak out because everything you just said flew over my precious and invincible head. You think I can't snatch Brian from you? You really want to bet money on it?"
"That's enough. Can we go save our Mother?" Kaleb called out.
"I. Am. Your. Better." Katherine walked towards me slowly and placed a kiss on my lips, the sensation left a jolt through me like electricity. Cheryl's eyes blazed in agony and Katherine laughed.
I am stunned. I've seen Katherine kill. I've seen her insult someone. But I've never her make someone feel like nothing. And the look Cheryl gave me proved that she was hurt. Katherine!
