I wake up once again, but not in the hospital, which is nice for a change.
One thing stayed the same though:
Andy's still by my side.
As I take in my surroundings, I soon recognize this is my dorm, and I'm laying on my couch.
I slowly sit up, and Andy's head jerks around to face me.
"Oh, good! You're awake!" Andy says. "Patrick found nothing serious. He just said lots of rest and he'll come check on you from day to day and he'll determine when you're ready to go back to class."
I nod, and he smiles.
"Patrick also said drink lots of fluids, and to just take it easy. So, you know, watch TV, or whatever the fuck you want. Just stuff that involves you laying around doing nothing physical."
"Okay. I'm pretty good at that." I reply with a soft smile.
"So," Andy says, reclining his seat on the couch, bringing up the footrest and grabbing the TV remote, "whattaya wanna watch?"
"Hmm..." I reply, smirking deviously, "how 'bout Deadpool?"
"Okay, but I'm covering your eyes at that part where Ryan Reynolds' bare ass is on the screen." Andy says.
I laugh as he goes to Amazon Instant Video and rents the movie while I turn out the lights and make popcorn.
What a perfect way to end a not-so-perfect day.
